Scanning the world of sports, you can find plenty of sports individuals and teams that so tick you off you want to call them out. Or throw them under the Bus. This is your forum to do that! I have a few that I'd like to throw Under The Bus.
NFL
Willie Andrews, CB, New England Patriots: this coward allegedly pointed a gun at his girlfriend during a domestic dispute early last Monday. At the time, the Patriots said they were aware of the report, but had "no comment." UPDATE: the Patriots released Andrews the next day. This thug does not belong on ANY NFL roster because he's a lawbreaker. If it is proven he did this, he should NOT be a free man for a VERY LONG TIME. Andrews gets thrown Under The Bus for being a thug and a dumb####.
Brett Favre: there's that rumor floating around that he may be unretiring. The Packers have moved on without him. Sounds like Aaron Rodgers is having his feet cut out from under him. Brett, you're one of the all-time greats, but enough already! For "tantalizing" us with the unretirement rumors, you get thrown Under The Bus (Cook).
NASCAR
"Fans" that threw debris on the track at Daytona: this is to you "fans" that threw debris on the track after Kyle Busch won. That was garbage. You are NOT true NASCAR fans. You are pathetic, miserable LOSERS. You can boo Kyle all you want and that's fine. But to throw debris at him after he wins a race? That's beyond the pale. Congratulations to Kyle Busch on his win at Daytona. And to you "fans" that threw debris on the track, you get thrown under the Bus, one "fan" at a time.
MLB
Milwaukee Brewers: they blew a five-run lead on Thursday. In the ninth inning. As a Dodgers fan, it PISSES ME OFF. You suck, Milwaukee. Your bullpen sucks. When you're up 5-0, three outs away from winning, and you give up the game, THAT blows. All they needed was THREE OUTS!! Yet their merry band of arsonists called the bullpen imploded. They proceeded to drag their gas cans out of the pen, soaked up that stadium with gasoline, then flicked their blue tips and burned down Chase Field. The Phoenix Fire Department was pretty busy that day. For that colossal gag job, the Brewers get thrown Under The Bus.
That's all I have for the week. What say you? Come on in with your nominees!
I agree totally about the aholes of NASCAR. If you can't act like an adult maybe you should be put in a fenced in pen and just let you throw stuff at each other.
Yeah jon I agree about the so called NASCAR fans that did that. It was classless to say the least. I say throw them under the bus and back up on them a few times as well.
Husker, I HATE those vehicles! They are FUGLY FUGLY FUGLY!!! Word is that GM is discontinuing the Hummers after 2009. Good riddance to them. They are the most overrated, overhyped vehicle in the history of the world.
Nique, I hope they are barred from ever attending a NASCAR event.
Gambit, you can dislike a driver, you can disagree with NASCAR's decision, but there is a right and wrong way to convey your displeasure. Those "fans" went about it the wrong way.
great list, jon. Can I drive the bus over Favre? What a drama queen he is. The Pack says they are retiring his jersey during the home opener. How can they do that when he's gonna be wearing it? Unless you let me use him as a speed bump.
How about throwing MLB fans under the bus for selecting too many yankees, sox, and cubs to the all-star game? Seriously. Take fan voting away from the all-star game, it's ruining it.
CenCalBlueFan, great choice! I think it was ballot stuffing by the Cubs fans that allowed so many Cubs to be starters. And I agree with you about taking away fan voting. Let the players and coaches vote on the All-Star teams.
Soriano spent way too much time on the DL to be considered and Fukudome's numbers are very good, but not All-star caliber. Ichiro and Derek Jeter are two other head-scratchers to me. And Ben Sheets should be the NL starter.
I'd go with either Sheets or Edinson Volquez. While Brandon Webb is having a good year, he doesn't deserve to start. Both Sheets and Volquez deserve to be above Webb. The only reason Jeter is on the All Star team is because the game's at Yankee Stadium.
jon' A-Rod for thinking that everyone would believe him with regard to the state of his marriage. Especially as the paparazzi has now found in his trash the magazine he subscribes to.
A word of advice to A-Rod , for God's sake don't let your membership lapse as you'll be in need of it once Madge turns on you. Material Girl , my a## !
I don't think that the wife'll appreciate that she no longer'll be part of the fun and games that they once shared.
Greatest Hits ? More like the who's who of the chicks that he's nailed over the years. Alyssa Milano, Nicole Kidman, Ingrid Casares, Lisa Bonet and Cameron Diaz to name but a few.
Lenny is now waiting in the wings to nail his ex. Well at least she's now taking those private guitar lessons with him all the more seriously.

Tophatal, my bad in omitting A-Rod. As for Lenny Kravitz, he's assembled quite an All-Star lineup of the women he's nailed. (With the exception of Cameron Diaz--she's like the All-Star that doesn't belong on the team, IMO. Kind of like Jason Varitek this season.)
I think the whole Nascar thing is hilarious. I would def. throw Kyle Busch under a bus considering I read that he made fun of a little handicap girl. I have always belived that people who make fun of a handicap child or adult deserves no respect from anyone. All I have to say about that is he is absolutely DISRESPECTFUL. If I was at Daytona I would probably have to throw something on the track too.
I just hope he doesnt win at Talladega in October when I go or I just might have to throw something. =)
jon
I was never that much into Kravitz's music. But now I might just be beginning to see what some of these females might be seeing in him.
I don't know if he's trying to come off as a Prince wannabe' or just some kinda unique rocker .
From a Cosby kid to sexual vixen. Ain't nuthin' wrong wit' that !
And when they said that chicks dug the long ball they weren't wrong. Alyssa Milano is most definitely the reason why ! But I guarantee you that along the way she plucked a few stribngs as well including Kravitz's.
See my most recent post titled Live Your Best Life .....Be A Better You...Not According To A-Rod .... ! Let me know what you think as to the merits of the piece ? I'll look forward to reading your comments.

A-rod doesn't need to be thrown under the bus considering C-rod is about to take him to the cleaners.
And hey, I'm a NASCAR fan and I've never thrown anything onto the track. How is that different from Cubs fans pelting Wrigley with garbage anyway? Remember that last year when Zambrano got shelled? NASCAR fans are the most stigmatized, stereotyped sports fans around. Don't let a bad apple ruin the whole batch.
Anyone who has said professional tennis is boring or non-competitive. But they already threw themselves under the bus if they missed the weekend's matches!
all great picks JON464, and i like the passion or Venom you put into this post but i have 3 other candidates.
1. Brandon Webb, lost his last 3 starts in pathetic fasion, Hell, throw the entire Diamond Back teem under there too, realy stinkin it up lately
2.Edinson Volquez, the rookie sensation has also been misserable in his last 3 starts also, got both of these pitchers on my fantasy team and their killin me
3. jon464, i see where you made mention (on another blog ) of the fact that i like to toss you under the wheels from time to time. For that you must go under the bus LOL......
great list... except for the brewers yeah i guess your right when you say they suck... not are you kidding me the dodgers suck to be 2 games under .500 in prolly the worst division in baseball ha what a joke the leader isnt even over .500 wow thats all i have to say
Sportswriters who already want to throw Dara Torres under the bus. The 41 year old mom is dominating the short sprints at the US Olympic swimming trials and already she is having the steroid cloud thrown over her achievements.
Marty, GREAT clip of the late George Carlin. He DEFINITELY would throw 'em under the Bus!
Kandykahne, Kyle will slump at some point in the season. Perhaps Kahne can take advantage at 'Dega.
Tophatal, Kravitz is probably working on a second All-Star team as we speak. I'll be sure to check it out.
Gambit, I'll be sure to check it out.
CenCalBlueFan, the VAST majority of NASCAR fans ARE good fans that are passionate about their favorite driver.
MCLioness, Nadal showed the heart of a lion in winning that match. Both men deserved to win. Nadal was just that much better. A training bus is a bus that is used by prospective bus drivers for training. That particular bus is typically out of service.
Blue@orange, thanks. I'm honored to be included with Webb and Volquez.
Rick, I wouldn't have thrown the Brewers under the bus had they WON, even if it was 5-4. Blowing a 5-run lead with one inning to go is inexcusable. While C.C. Sabathia will be a great addition, they still need to upgrade their 'pen.
Curly, Dara Torres' feat is nothing short of amazing. To make FIVE Olympic teams in a strenuous sport like swimming is the stuff legends are made of.
Forensic2, I'd have LOVED to see a drag race to the checkers amongst the top 12 at the time of the caution.
I am from Central California. I am passionate about sports, particularly the NFL and NASCAR. My favorite teams are: Panthers (NFL), Lakers (NBA), Flyers (NHL), and Dodgers (MLB). I am also a Kevin Harvick fan in NASCAR. I am a Fresno State honk. (I'll admit it!) And I am also a fan of MMA. Jackie Robinson to this day represents what is right about baseball. I also enjoy discussing the relevant (and sometimes irrelevant) issues of the day pertaining to sports. I will never understand why televised poker is so popular. Who wants to see a bunch of people sitting around a table, muttering to themselves? I do my best to keep politics out of my sports discussions. That is why I recently created a nonsports blog, cencalscribe. blogspot.com. That is where I post my nonsports topics.
