What has gotten you in such an uproar in the world of sports that you want to SCREAM? Is it a player, coach, team, league, owner, or fans of a particular team or individual? Do you think you don't have an outlet to express your ire? Fear not, fans, this is the outlet for you to express that ire by throwing the object of your ire under the Bus. See the lovely young lady? She'll take your requests, then tell the bus driver to do his thing. I know I have a few!
NFL
Seattle Seahawks: granted, they were playing the N.Y. Giants on the road. Very difficult to win there. But at least they could have made it more competitive. Was that the Seahawks or a group of imposters? Clearly, Seattle left its game at home and sleepwalked through the game. I'd have preferred a competitive game, thank you very much. The Seahawks get thrown under the Bus.
O.J. Simpson: the former Buffalo Bills great was found guilty of kidnapping, armed robbery, and 10 other charges involving sports memorabilia. The ironic twist is that he was found guilty 13 years to the day after he got away with murder was found not guilty of two counts of first degree murder in the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. O.J., just go away. Get thrown under the Bus first, then just go away.
NASCAR
Carl Edwards: pot, meet kettle. He's the one always calling out other drivers for causing wrecks. Today, he effectively gave Jimmie Johnson his third straight Sprint Cup title by causing The Big One, Part 2 that knocked out half of the Chase field and six other non-Chase drivers. I do give him credit for taking full responsibility for the wreck. He still gets thrown under the Bus.
Goodyear: there were a rash of tires exploding at Talladega, starting with Dale Earnhardt Jr's on Friday during a practice session. Today, a tire failure on Brian Vickers' car was responsible for The Big One, Part 1. Time for NASCAR to consider exploring other tire companies to supply tires. In the meantime, Goodyear gets thrown Under The Bus.
MLB
MLB "experts": or more specifically, those that predicted the Cubs to beat the Dodgers in the NLDS, which was just about every one of them. Many of these "experts" had the Cubs in the World Series. According to them, the Dodgers might as well have not even played this series. Only one thing: the Cubs had to play the series. They played, and got rolled. The Dodgers' starting pitching was stellar throughout the series. They got timely hitting. Now they're in the NLCS against the Philadelphia Phillies. The "experts" get thrown under the Bus for dismissing the Dodgers so blithely.
Those are my nominees for the week. Feel free to come in with yours!
I'd like to throw the Texans under the bus. Your stadium is opened for the first time after a disaster, you're kicking the patootie of a Class 1 team, ...then you toss it all away.
Yep, the Texans should have won and I can't believe they blew it the way they did. Must be the "perennial loser" effect, and the fact that Rosenfels, who used to be part of one of those loser Dolphin teams, just adds to the bad juju.
Ahh...Yes... Nascar: For giving Smoke a win.
ARCA: to Hoosier for copying GoodYear on blowout style tire.
MLB: Cubs for blowing out of the playoffs.
NFL: Refs for taking wins away from Chicago. They should be 5-0
For Saturdays too numerous to count, I have watched college football games spill over their time allotment into the network evening news. ABC stays with the post game wrap-up show until the top of the hour, therefore preempting the newscast.
TODAY, the NASCAR race spills over into the newscast's time slot, and the network can't wait to tear themselves away from the race. Tony Stewart fans have waited an awful long time to see our driver in Victory Lane, and when it finally happens, we get short-changed because the network execs think the world will come to an end if they aren't able to report the details of the latest political mudslinging.
Snorky, I remember Rosenfels being on those bad Fins teams. Maybe that's why the Fins got rid of him.
Noahspop, Smith had a run on Smoke with half a mile to go and would have passed him had Smoke not blocked him. The block forced Smith below the yellow line.
SB20, Smoke's win was a long time coming, too bad there was controversy surrounding it. I'm po'd because of the boneheaded move Edwards made, that eliminated Harvick's chance to win and gain ground. If Edwards makes that move on the straightaway instead of on the turn, Harvick escapes the carnage. Harvick should have gone through pit road; he'd have escaped. ABC gets a well-earned throw under the Bus. And while I'm at it, Greg Biffle gets tossed under the Bus as well for spinning out Harvick 10 laps earlier.
I'm going to throw myself under your bus for being born in San Diego and being forced to follow pathetic chokers my whole life. Then again, I had no control over that. Maybe I should be throwing my parents under the bus. They were the ones who moved here from back East to start a family. I could have grown up in Deleware and had my pick of great East coast franchises to cheer on.
BB21, could it be possible that Miami has improved THAT MUCH? They finally have a legitimate QB, a stud RB, and an improved defense. San Diego is ####ed up. Not having Merriman hurts. And you guys miss Lorenzo Neal more than you realize.
He's a sexy player. I am his loyal adorer. Seems he has a personal account on a WEALTHY&SEXY ++++ dating site called """"""Rich Match Making com""""""". Is he single? He wanna hook up with hottie or cuttie?
jon'
It wasn't too long ago I heard a number of Seahawks' fans within this very forum letting us know that their team was good enough to win the NFC West. At this juncture I'm not too sure if they're good enough to win anything resembling a damn football game. And by the way how bad have the Bengals become ? The vultures are now circling Marvin Lewis' head and though they're not ready to sh*it on him. Sooner or later they'll do so with an emphatic load right on top of his head.
jon, bler32df thinks you are sexy--I guess that is a good thing.
Anyway, if it is okay to put college football in here, then Fulmer goes under the bus again.
Those tire issues, in ARCA and Cup, using Hoosiers and Goodyears were scary. I'm not smart enough to know what needs to be done, but I am smart enough to know that SOMETHING needs to be done.
Mike Riley, head Coach of Oregon State Football. How can he expect to win a game when he can't get a first down? He goes conservative and every time he does it costs them dearly. trying to salvage a season, you go for it all, especiall away, especially against a ranked team...especially in the 4th quarter! What a fool! They are 2 and 3 now but 1-1 in the weak PAC-10! HAHAHA! Throw his scrawny #### under the bus 3 times!
Carl Edwards for his role in taking out 3/4ths of his team and the fan favorite, with one stupid moment, which by all accounts was far to early to be "going for it"
I get a kick out of the constant advertising Good Year was doing during the race touting their KEVLAR technology. Maybe they needed to use it on the racing tires...they sure exploded with disastrous results. Throw em under the bus!

Throw the artist formerly known as Chad Johnson under the bus! He talked a bus load of garbage all week leading up to the game against Dallas, but when it was time to shut-up and play, he was Ocho NoShow!
ocho cinco is personna non gratis with true Beaver fans...the mouth that roared...thank God he isn't a graduate of OS...haha! The trend of the big mouthed reciever is nearly over I hope. I have quit watching the NFL because of their cr*ap
I'd like to throw Fox Sports under the bus for deleting my blog and gagging JOKERSWILD, Nique and the rest who deserve to be on the top of the most popular list.
jon; you go under for crossing out that wich is true..
I thought the Cubs could beat the Dodgers, but I new they could'nt beat MANNY !! I'm am on the Dodger band wagon from here on out, Bleeds Purple&Gold agreed to sponser me !!
BB21, I can tell you're more than a little bummed.
Tophatal, they were all over the blogs crowing about how good their team was going to be. You can't be good if you're getting b-slapped all over the field every week. I have a funny feeling Marvin Lewis isn't going anywhere; if anything, they'll give him more leeway to get rid of Chad Johnson.
volfan, I can almost hear that Rod Stewart song, "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" when the spammers come in here. You have hereby thrown Fulmer under the bus! Apparently NASCAR is the only ones that think all is good.
BeaverNut, I would call it turtling. DON'T even mention Carl Edwards. I'm STILL mad for him causing that wreck that cost Kevin Harvick a good chance to win. And as for Goodyear, they deserve to be thrown under the bus! I hope the trend of the big-mouthed receiver is over.
Midnite, Chad Johnson is a good candidate! As Muhammad Ali once said, "It ain't braggin' if you can back it up." Chad was braggin', because he DISAPPEARED against the Cowboys.
Bleed, I can smell a World Series in the not too distant future. I know Nique has had problems with Fox Sports because I've only seen her posts in the NBA section. So many good bloggers have left because they were gagged. That's a good, worthy candidate for being thrown under the bus!
b@o, I believe OJ did it. He's guilty as sin in my book. I put the strikes in there to emphasize a point. And there's plenty of room on the Dodgers' bandwagon!
Beacon, excellent! And I also nominate the Angels while I'm at it for being posers and CLAIMING they're LA's team. I think everyone in SoCal except for Arte Moreno KNOWS the Angels are NOT LA's team.
I am from Central California. I am passionate about sports, particularly the NFL and NASCAR. My favorite teams are: Panthers (NFL), Lakers (NBA), Flyers (NHL), and Dodgers (MLB). I am also a Kevin Harvick fan in NASCAR. I am a Fresno State honk. (I'll admit it!) And I am also a fan of MMA. Jackie Robinson to this day represents what is right about baseball. I also enjoy discussing the relevant (and sometimes irrelevant) issues of the day pertaining to sports. I will never understand why televised poker is so popular. Who wants to see a bunch of people sitting around a table, muttering to themselves? I do my best to keep politics out of my sports discussions. That is why I recently created a nonsports blog, cencalscribe. blogspot.com. That is where I post my nonsports topics.
