While suffering through the latest Oakland Raiders debacle I relized what was wrong with this team. (Besides the obvious) They run the daylights out of the ball but yet they don't utilize the other aspects of the game. What I meen is when you run the ball as effectively as they do you need to use a few play-action passes. After all you drafted Jamarcus Russell so you could stretch the field. This guy possibly has the strongest arm in the entire NFL but the Raiders will not utilize it. Raider fan I really cannot stand your team or most of the fans as far as that goes. Raider fan thinks they are going to win the Super Bowl before pre-season starts. That alone makes Raider fan very unlikable. I have many family and friends who fall into this catagory and I truly love all of them. Until football season that is!

One of the inherent problems for this team also is the fact that there's no apparent leadership on this team. And without that sort of presence I think that this team'll continue to flounder.
Russell will continue to learn the nuances of the game albeit that he may well labor from time to time. I know that it's got to be frustrating for even the most ardent of Raiders' fans.
As to the Angels and their plight against the Red Sox. Let's hope that they can get it together for the fans' sake.

That's become the norm for the Raiders. Much like the Cubs they've become the loveable losers within the NFL much as the Cubs seem to be in major league baseball.
Angel fan since I was 8 years old. All time favorite Angels are Ryan, Downing, Salmon, Percy, With Figgy and Vlad climbing that list. I still watch the BLACK AND WHITE westerns starring the GREATEST cowboy of all time Gene Autry !!!!!!!!!
