What can one say but "WOW"!  The NFL has finally done it! They have put doubt into my mind that they are becoming just like all the other big time sports in America. I only watched Three games over this past weekend And that was plenty for me.

 Pittsburgh-San diego game

With 15 seconds  left and the Steelers- Parker goes around the left side for a touchdown. Wrong! A holding call!  At this point ; There should have been a 10 second run-off because the clock is inside 2 minutes . But no! The refs just march off 10 yards leaving 15 seconds on the clock!  Pittsburgh kicks the field goal. Now the clock reads 11 seconds. Pittsburgh kicks to San Diego and San Diego has time for one play.This play should not have taken place anyway. The refs blew it by not running off the 10 seconds on the Pittsburgh holding call. When Pittsburgh kicked the field goal it took 4 seconds off the clock. So when Pittsburgh kicked off there should have only been 1 second on the clock. The return ate that up. So that play should not have ever happened. But it did! And AGAIN The refs blew the call! We all had to put the rest of our plans on hold for another 8 minutes for them to review the play. And they still blew the call. It makes one wonder if the replay official either had a bet on the over under or some other off the wall bet. Or worse He had someone  on his stupid fantasy football team.

Dallas- Washington

End of the second quarter. Barber goes around the left side and the refs signal touchdown! Review in the booth! I saw it and all of you saw it! He did not make it in ! A lot of you will say " He would have done it  on the second down or even the third down play! Well if your one of those people you need to do a reallity check. Some of the Greatest Games of all time have been decided by a great goal line stand! That could have changed the flow of this game and maybe the play-off teams at the end of the season. Anyway the review held up and Barber got his touchdown. Why!

Well it's pretty simple ! Money ! The simple fact is the NFL is manipulating the outcome of the games. If that isn't bad enough the replay officials are even manipulating the scores so the can either beat the the bookie or win money in fantasy football. And yes Fantasy Football has become a BIG money game.

 

 

Folks; ugh! I am so sick of the east coast bias in big time sports! I so miss the times when Kurt Gowdy, Keith Jackson, Joe Goragiola, and even Howard Cosell were doing games. I can't even stand to watch a game with the volume on.  I wish you could turn the announcers off and still hear the sounds of the game. And if I remember right they tried to do games at one time without the commentaters. I for ine wish they would do that  and get rid of all these East Coast Bias Announcers!

While suffering through the latest Oakland Raiders debacle I relized what was wrong with this team. (Besides the obvious) They run the daylights out of the ball but yet they don't utilize the other aspects of the game. What I meen is when you run the ball as effectively as they do you need to use a few play-action passes. After all you drafted Jamarcus Russell so you could stretch the field. This guy possibly has the strongest arm in the entire NFL but the Raiders will not utilize it. Raider fan I really cannot stand your team or most of the fans as far as that goes. Raider fan thinks they are going to win the Super Bowl before pre-season starts. That alone makes Raider fan very unlikable. I have many family and friends who fall into this catagory and I truly love all of them. Until football season that is!
