Big Brown is a great horse no doubt. However, any horseman with any sense at all would understand that a horse traveling a mile and a half, full throttle, with a quarter crack may not show lameness, but will just stop or slow down when the pounding becomes to much for him. One of the signs of a hurting horse is being rank and he showed this attribute. Blaming the jockey is a trainer cop out.
