Look Who's Back In The News..........
Feb 15, 2006 | 9:37AM | report this
Well, well, well, everyone.  Look who reappeared in the NFL news section on ESPN.com?  Yes, Mr. Ryan Leaf, in the flesh.  And he has a new stint, too.  I was wondering what happened to him all these years.  Check it out!

Great...my hometown is about an hour and a half from where he will be coaching, Canyon Texas. Is he going to teach the QB's to be angry, overrated idiots?

Can wait to see him in person. Bet I can make him angry on my next visit home.

Hahahahahahahahah! Every time I think of Leaf, I think of that infamous video of him yelling at his teammate. What a jerk he was. Hopefully, he has humbled himself.

ON a positive note he did go back and get his degree. I give him credit for that.

So shooterb you are actually a Texan yourself masquerading as a New Mexican. I am on to you!(~.~)

Well, maybe Leaf can better serve as a teacher of QBs, than that of a performing QB.

ShooterB, Baylor would have to get West Texas A&M on schedule before I'd be able to razz the Ryan.

RaeRae: No, NOT A TEXAN! On the Texas border, a little town on interstate 40...called San Jon. Don't live there anymore. But it's 18 miles into NM, and about 90 miles from Amarillo...

Very observant, I must say.

Grim: The Buffaloes from WT will not go against Baylor. They will have trouble against local High Schools. But in fairness, at least Leaf is doing something. He may even bring some attention to that small college...which is a good thing.

Maybe Leaf has a skill for showing them good ol' boys how to throw a football in a West Texas dust storm.

And by the way, those storms form because of all that hot air mass in New Mexico.

I agree with Rae. He at least got his degree. Good for him. I hope he does well.

Lot of hot air in New Mexico, Reaper? Very clever...did you also graduate from WT?

Hey shooterb I graduated from Tech and all that hot air blew dust all over Lubbock! (~.~)

Ahhh....good ole Lubbock. Spent a week there one night!

The reason they have the balloon fiesta in NM is because of all the hot air. I guess I would be outnumbered in a Texas vs. New Mexico duel. So I'll leave it alone...

Go Red Raiders!!! (I could get shot for saying that)

Ohhhhhh, this is gonna get messy! They need to bring in Michael Westbrook as the receivers coach, then he can sucker punch the running backs while Ryan curses the rest of the team. Man, need some chips and a six pack to watch that one!

Whatever happened to Westbrook? He used to play for the Skins, right? He disappeared into thin air, or something?

Hill - If you want to drop a little info in the comments section about taking DeAngelo Williams I will add it in a quote as I have done for others in my mock draft.
