Okay, so it's the friday before the Super Bowl, and there are tons and tons of articles to read about, regarding the big game. From the Top 10 Super Bowl moments, to the Best Super Bowl commercial. But enough is enough.
I'm browsing through foxsports.com, and I come across this particular article. Check it out and tell me what you think. This article has to be one of the dumbest articles I have read in a long time. Thanks media people, for trying to strong arm a rivalry that won't exist once the game is over.
Can someone PLEASE fast foward the time to Monday, when this madness is over with???
Porter alone has made this a rivalry game. I cannot wait until Sunday. I don't know if this makes me in disagreement or not because I too am tired of the rest of the overanalysis of this game.
That's what I'm talking about. Not the players talking, but these stupid articles that these "experienced" writers are coming up with. I could've thought of that article, and then I would've thrown it out once I started to type it. It's just stupid.
Even with Porter's remarks, they won't care a lick about each other once the game is over.

hillhubbo30, Your new Native American name shall be HH30.
HH30, that "article" was, without a doubt, the largest pile of stink to emanate from the fingers of a "write". Must have been a deadline coming up. "I have an idea, lets just look in the old toilet and see if there's anything that I can use."
Hahahahahahahahah! I can believe that's exactly what happened. That article was horrible!!!! Shoot, they were better off picking a random blogger to write something then that article...
What SI article are you talking about, NorthSide? This whole Super Bowl has been one sided the whole time, and I'm just sick of the hype. C'Mon monday, so by then, we all ready know the results and the complaints and whines can start to pour in.
Something tells me you knew were Samantha Strong was from all along, though.

Hill - SI wrote in their magazine this week, a piece, just like this, simply in comparative stance - Seattle on one side, Pittsburgh on the other with the list running down the middle - very similar to the linked piece.
In all honesty, I don't know who Samantha Strong is, but if I saw her.... face, I would probably recognize her.
If what Northside said is true, then I can't believe someone would have to steal that from somewhere else. It was totally lame! Who cares about famous directors from each city. WOW!! If that's what's out there at this point, these guys are really reaching for something to put in their papers.
I recently wrote a post regarding the level of absurdity all the Super Bowl coverage leads to, but I guess I really missed hitting the nail on the head with it after reading this article you linked us to. It even tops the bald-headed Hasselbeck one that I referenced.
Ditto what you said at the end of your post Hill. Can we please just finally get to the game so all the madness can come to an end?
P.S. I have been regularly checking for a new post by you Hill and glad to see one. I also enjoy the new name. Keep up your great work.

Porter has no stirred up anything... if the players from the Seahawks would keep their mouths shut and not say stuff like, "We're going to win the superbowl" or "Jerome Bettis doesn't deserve to be in Detroit" he wouldn't say anything. Joey Porter waits for someone to say something smart and then he has the answers right back at them.

Once again you demonstrate your complete ignorance of not only football but reality. Neither statement you quote was ever spoken by the Seahawks players or coaches. If your going to use quotation marks it's usually a good idea to know the quote accurately.
If you can direct me to the original documentation of these quotes I'll be happy to apologize.
