After observing the Mexico race this weekend and seeing all these different tracks (Canda), I was wondering.......what races do you guys like to watch most?
I personally love to watch the following races:

Daytona 500/Talladega racing (of course)
I just love Daytona. I love restrictor-plate racing. The racing is so close and the wrecks are awesome!! This year's Daytona 500 was no exception.

2. Racing at Martinsville
Most people would choose Bristol over Martinsville any day, but I absolutely love the racing at Martinsville. You got bumping, aggression, close racing which brings so much fun while watching the race. Don't get me wrong, racing from Bristol is great too, but I think Martinsville is sometimes just as good!!

3. Road Course Racing
Road Course racing with NASCAR is a little different than road racing with other series. It presents different challenges for the teams which is literally fun to watch. I attended the Infineon race, the Dodge/SaveMart 350, which was a blast to watch.
I love to watch all NASCAR racing though. These are just my favorites. Again, what are guy's favorite races to watch?!!
Bristol--the closeness of the racing, the "thunder in the valley" and Atlanta--the wide open speed is a thrill a minute. Also, Daytona and Talledega--I, too, like the plate racing. I haven't had the pleasure of going to Matinsville, but I've heard it is awesome.
1. INDIANAPOLIS 500 - fast, close (but not artificially so), incredible history
2. GRAN PRIX OF MONACO - classic F1, fast, history, glamour, done in under 2 hours
3. Just about anything (including NASCAR) at MEXICO CITY'S AUTODROMO - what a great road course.
4. IRL @ MOTEGI TWIN RING - close, VERY fast, exciting race that takes only about 90 minutes.
5. The last fifteen laps of most NASCAR races (skip the previous 3 to 4 hours of repetitive nudging, bumping, and grinding at medium speeds) - the finishes (and any 15 laps you examine in a row at just about any point of the race) are consistently exciting. Too bad NASCAR insists on marathon races. If they'd shorten them, they'd be no less exciting - quite the contrary, they would be much MORE exciting (and you could do something else with your afternoon too). Of these, probably BRISTOL & MARTINSVILLE, TALLEDEGA (for the history) , and DAYTONA (also for the history). MEXICO CITY is also interesting, as it must be hell pulling these sluggish sleds around a great road course like this. But last years finish was a truly great auto racing finish - these guys CAN race on road courses!

TALLEDEGA= there is no substitute!
RICHMOND= small track that thinks it's a super speedway.
BRISTOL= no need to say any more!
DOVER= the monster mile with steep banking
ATLANTA= passing all over the place along with 200 mph speeds.
1. Lowe's- Love the All-Star Race, go every year.
2. Matinsville and Bristol-love the close action short track racing.
3.Talledega-love the speed
4.Daytona for sure.
another thing to Lowe's and Martinsville, They are pretty much my home town tracks! I'm 1 hour from both!!!!!!!
Well even though my favourite driver has won at almost every track there is on the schedule these locations are my favourites.
Martinsville, because its Jeff Gordon's house of play.
Talladega, because its Jeff Gordon's house.
Indianapolis, because its Jeff Gordon's house.
Daytona, because its Jeff Gordon's house.
California, because its Jeff Gordon's house.
Cool everybody!! I would to actually go to Martinsville or a Restrictor-Plate track also. I have actually only been to Infineon and plan on going to California Speedway this year!! It will be fun!! Very interesting posts!! Thank you!!
Hey hendrick,
If you do get a chance to go to Martinsville, try to get your seats in the Richard Petty Tower. That's coming out of turn 4. It's easy access to the bathrooms and the gate. Martinsville is a very tight place for the fans too! Whatever you do don't sit in the Clay Earls Tower! Been there done that and I swore I'd never go back to Martinsville, but then I figured out where the best seats where! I must worn you, it's loud as hell, because that's where they get back on the gas after the turn! Good Luck!
Awesome, great advice!! Sounds like you know what you are talking about!! I would to see a Martinsville race. They hit so close to the rev. limiter so fast, it creates a lot of noise!! Thank you for posting 8929 fan.
