Does the NBA care more about $$$ and publicity more than great basketball???

YES they do!

I am only 12 (that doesn't mean I don't know about sports) so I can't remember finals from the 80's or 90's like some people I can barely remember when my Lakers beat the Pacers, but game 2 had the worst referees in the Finals I have ever seen. I could go on and on about how many bull**** calls they made to give Boston the game, but I won't, leave it at that, they were horrible!

The refs made it obvious they gave boston the game, so where does the money come in? now. I think the NBA is trying to make the great rivalry go to 7 games for $$$$$$$$$! Think about it last year the sopranos beat out the NBA finals in ratings so they want to make sure to get a lot of that money back by making the 80's most hatrid rivalry go to 7 games.

That's my opiinion tell me what you think about both the topic and who will win the Finals!

       The 2007 NE Patriots are sore losers! First of all starting at Super Bowl XLII with still :01 remaining on the clock Bill Belichek and sme players leave to the locker room. Yeah you can say that he congratulated the Giantsbut tjey left and the game was still going on. The only man about it was Teddy Bruschi who was on the field for the last play while the rest of the defens was on the sideline getting ready to leave. Belichek and the Patriots showed a lot of class and sportsmanship didn't they. Some of the players didn't even congratulate the Giants.

        Then some of the players of the patriots said that the Refs gave them the game. Then Brady and Moss both get "injured" when we all know Brady was faking.

I have voted in for the 2008 pro bowl twice, both times I voted for the late Sean Taylor. I think that in his honor we should all vote for him, so he can be honored. plz vote 4

I know many of you are tired of hearing: Did LSU and OSU deserve a title shot, Are they the 2 best teams. I am changing it a little, who deserved it most from teams with a BCS bowl.

1. Hawaii - Yes I wrote Hawaii, they were undefeated. They faced the same opponents as Boise St. did last year and we saw how Boise St. came out. They took care of their opponents easily, and last of all BRENNAN 4 HEISMAN!

2. OSU - 1 loss, that says it all. Yeah they played a weak confrence, but like Hawaii they easily took care of business. Their only loss came to a BCS team.

3. Kansas - They were ranked #2 at one point and had 1 loss. like Georgia they were disqualified by a non-existing rule of not winning their division.

4. Missouri - They have 2 losses but they only lost to 1 team, both losses came to a BCS team. They beat Kansas  when they were #2.

5. USC - The Trojans beat a teams that were ranked #2, #4, and #11, which means at any point in a game, they can play. 1 loss was bad ok i'll admit but the other loss was against a #2 team in Oregon.

6. LSU - Quit complaining tiger fans you now you got an early Christmas gift. OVERRATED!, you did not beat Tennesee, Tenesee lost the game.

7. WV - That is not fair when a team is ranked 1 or 2 and loses 1 game and ends up with 2 just like other teams and is out just because they lost the last game.

8. OU - They lost to 2 mediocre teams but they have a good resume by beating #1 Mizz by a lot.

9. Georgia - I just didn't see them play good enough football to be in it is not because they lost their division.

10. Illinois - Let's be reasonable, they were given the biggest Christmas gift ever, they might prove me wrong by sticking to SC but they had 3 losses and all the contenders had 1 or 2.

I am only 12 years old so I have not been along to see many College Football years. The first season I actually payed attention and made USC my team was when LSU and Oklahoma played in the Sugar Bowl for the title.

So far this has been the craziest, best, and most exciting season. I want to know what other years were crazy with many upsets. I can't say this is the best year ever because I haven't seen many years.

Can anyone please tell me what other years were crazy.

1. KANSAS - YES KANSAS! THEY ARE THE TRUE #1 BECAUSE THEY ARE UNDEFEATED! PEOPLE SAY THEIR STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE IS WEAK, SO THEY BEAT EVERY TEAM THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO WIN EASILY. LSU THIS, LSU THAT, FORGET ABOUT LSU THEY LOST 1 GAME.

2. LSU - THE REASON THEY ARE NOT #1 THEY LOST KANSAS HASN'T. I AM NOT SAYING THEY ARE A BAD FOOTBALL TEAM THEY ARE A GREAT TEAM. THEY PLAYED A HECK O####AME AGAINST KENTUCKY BUT A LOSS IS A LOSS.

3. WEST VIRGINIA - THEY LOST A GAME BUT THEY HAVE THE 2ND BEST OFFENSE IN THE  WORLD BEHIND THE PATS. OKAY I EXXAGERATED BUT THEY HAVE A HEISMAN CALLIBAR QB AND HB, AND TWO GREAT BACKUPS AT BOTH POSITIONS.

4. MISSOURI - MISSOURI CAN PROVE THEY DESERVE TO PLAY IN THE BIASED BCS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME BY BEATING KANSAS. THEY HAVE A HEISMAN HOPEFUL AT QB IN CHASE DANIEL, HE NEEDS TO HAVE A STELLAR PERFORMANCE IF THEY HAVE A CHANCE AT WINNING.

5. OHIO ST. - THEY HAVE AN INCREDIBLE DEFENSE AND A GREAT YOUNG QB IN BEOCKMAN.

6. GEORGIA - THEY ARE A CONSISTENT FOOTBALL TEAM THAT IS READY TO PLAY EVERY WEEK, WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY.

7. ARIZONA ST. - TOMMOROW DECIDES THEIR SESON AS WELL AS USC'S. HOLIDAY BOWL, BCS TITLE BOWL, OR HOPES AT ROSE BOWL.

8. OREGON - THEY JUST DIDN'T SHOW UP TO PLAY LAST THURSDAY VS. ARIZONA NOW NO TITLE GAME FOR THEM.

9. USC - AS I SAID USC'S SEASON IS DETERMINED TOMMOROW AT ARIZONA ST. USC HAS A VERY GOOD CHANCE TO WIN THAT FOOTBALL GAME, BUT THEY WILL HAVE A BETTER SHOT IF THEY START MARK SANCHEZ BECAUSE BOOTY JUST CHOKES UNDER PRESSURE. I AM AN SC FAN SO FIGHT ON!

10. FLORIDA - THE REASON THEY AREN'T 6-5 IS SHOULD BE HEISMAN TIM TEBOW, HE SINGLE-HANDEDLY CHANGES A GAME.

11. HAWAII - HAWAII IS A VERY GOOD UNDEFEATED FOOTBALL TEAM LED BY A QB WITH THE MOST TD'S IN NCAA HISTORY. THIS CINDERELLA CAN BE 2008'S BOISE ST. BY BEATING BOISE ST. AND WASHINGTON. THEY ARE A VERY UNDERRRATED FOOTBALL TEAM.

12. VIRGINIA TECH - I PERSONALLY THINK THEY ARE AN OVERRATED TEAM.

13. OKLAHOMA - THEY JUST DISSAPOINT AT THE WRONG TIMES, IF THEY WIN THE BIG 12 THEN WE'LL TALK ABOUT A BCS GAME, OK.

14. BOSTON COLLEGE - THEY ARE AN AVERAGE TEAM WHO I ALSO THINK IS OVERRATED, WITH A NFL QB IN MATT RYAN. RYAN HAS THE SIZE, OKAY MOBILITY, AND GREAT ARM STRENGTH.

15. NOTRE DAME... JUST KIDDING VIRGINIA - THEY ARE ANOTHER UNDERRRATED TEAM LED BY HOWIE LONG'S SON CHRIS WHO PLAYS THE SAME POSITION AS HIS DAD.

SUDDENLY THE DODGERS MANAGER POSITION  IS AVAILABLE!

I THINK LITTLE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE BY RESIGNING, I AM A DODGER FAN BUT I WASN'T A HUGE GRADY LITTLE FAN. lITTLE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE BECAUSE THE DODGERS WERE GOING TO FIRE HIM ANYWAY.

 I DONT LIKE LITTLE BECAUSE HE MADE THE BAD CHOICE BY RESTING THE STARTERS DOWN THE STRETCH WHEN HE SHOULD'VE BENCHED THEM DURING THE TIME THEY HAD A BIG DIVISION LEAD SO THEY WOULD BE FRESH DOWN THE STRETCH. IF YOU REMEMBER THE SERIES OF DODGERS PADRES AND RIGHT AFTER DODGERS D-BAX, I THOUGHT THAT WAS GOING TO DECIDE WHO WON THE NL WEST AND WHO WON THE WILD CARD WHICH IS WHY I DECIDED TO GO TO THE LAST GAME OF THE DODGERS D-BAX SERIES. I WAS SURPRISED AND MAD TO FIND OUT RUSSELL MARTIN WASN'T PLAYING AND NEITHER WAS NOMAR GARCIAPARRA THAT WAS A REALLY IMPORTANT GAME AND HE BENCHES HIS TWO STARS, COME ON!

NOW THAT LITTLE IS GONE WE NEED A MANAGER IT WAS GOING TO BE GIRARDI OR LITTLE GIRARDI IS WITH THE YANKEES LEFT NOW LEAVING TORRE AS OUR MANAGER!

USC is a great team.

They have 1 weakness...

John David Booty!!!!!!!  I am an SC fan therefore.. i HATE HIM!!!

Pete should bench him and start Mark Sanchez. Pete even said at the start of the season it was a tough decision, now he has to make the right decision by benching Booty.

At this rate Booty will throw 20 picks.  However his stats look okay 113 for 175. He plays at SC where we get like 3 or 4 passing tds and he is only averaging 2. Booty also needs to improve in pressure situations last year at UCLA when we need a TD he throws a ... INT. AT oregon st. 2 point conversion to tie the game ... awful pass.  Booty shouldn't even be all pac10 first team it should be dennis dixon.

Booty needs to stop kissing booty and step up if he wants to keep his job.

I am goin to the Dodger game on August 29 to see them play the Washington Nationals. I am goin to the game with my dad. Orignally i payed for the tickets which were $21 for both but since we baught the tix on dodgers.com i gave my dad the money and now he said he will give me my $21 back at the game so i can buy something.

I have behaved like Micheal Jordan's batting avg., awful, and he has still treated me like Magglio Ordonez's batting avg., incredible.

Should i buy myself something or be nice and buy my dad something

    Bonds is 43 and has had 9777 AB which is 1378 more than Babe Ruth. Babe was a pitcher for 8 years so he only batted every 5 days if he played a diffrent position and batted everyday he would have had over 800 HRs. If Willie Mays or anyone else played til they were 60 they would probably break the record but that doesn't make them the king because he wasn't a great HR hitter he just played a long time Also Ruth had a higher carrer Slugging%. If you do the math Ruth homered eveyry 3.5 games and bonds homered every 4 games.Ruth only played 2503 games while Bonds played 2960 in counting.

   The main reason Bonds isn't the HR king is because he used STEROIDS, he cheated, whatever you want to call it. I am dodger fan so i wouldn't want Bonds to break it either way but i would at least accept the fact he broke the record if he wouldn't have used steroids.

  That's why Babe Ruth is the HR king.

The dodgers have been on a horrible slump in the past few weeks. They were shutout in 3 straight games until Furcal scored on a sac fly in the 1st inning yesterday. At the start of yesterday the dodgers were behind the rockies!!! Right now the dodgers are 5 gb the d-bax, yes you read right the d-bax. They are 2 gb in the wild card. Yesterday was their first win since last wednasday. They had lost 6 in a row and 12 out of 14. After seeing that a lot of people have gave up on the dodgers in even making the playoffs.                    

Maybe because im a dodger fan but i feel they have a chance at the pennant. You might say pennant?, they wont make the playoffs, but the dodgers will make the playoffs because they have 13 games coming up against .500 teams, 7 out of 13 are at Dodger Stadium, then they have a tough series with the Mets but they follow that with a should-be easy series here at LA against the Nats. Then Sept. gets a little tough but the lineup the dodgers have they should go over .500!

Watch out for LA Blue! 

USC is ranked #1! i know there are people who doubt USC will win it all but fyi there is no way that they will lose to Michigan in the BCS title game.Booty, lol, is a heisman hopeful but that is one thing i doubt usc will accomplish this year, a heisman winner.have any of you doubters seen a any footage of McNight he looks like the next reggie.

sup ppl this is my first blog, anyways i think vick will never wear a falcon's uniform again. i don't know about u but i think he should be suspended for at least a year without pay. i think he should go  to jail becuz it takes a sick man 2 make dogs fight each other and then if they lived he would kill them by drowning them, shooting them, or hanging them.
