And the congregation said AMEN!!! May God not only bless those who are serving and have served but may He also bless abundantly their families, especially the spouses and children of those who are in harms way today while we enjoy our cookouts and watching races or golf or the NBA playoffs or whatever easy, non-life threatening passtime we pursue today.

THIS IS NOT A REALLY SPECIAL DAY FOR ME. I AM A 4TH GENERATION MILITARY BRAT, SO FOR ME EVERYDAY IS A DAY THAT I HONOR OUR MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN. WE HAVE KEPT A CANDLE IN THE WINDOW FOR MORE YEARS THEN I CAN REMEMBER, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
Happy Armed Forces Day to all the Vets & Active military and Thank you! I got an e-mail from LT the other day doing good out in that desert- I don't think he ever knew it got hotter than an Oklahoma summer:)
BTW young man is doing well,he calls every couple days.
We went to the airport airshow this weekend and Miss Mouse had to see and ask questions @ the Chinook helicopter (since that's what KW is training for)
I AM FROM OKLAHOMA AND HAVE WORKED IN THE FIELD OF YOUTH SPORTS AND RECREATION FOR OVER 25 YEARS.
I AM A FAN OF NASCAR, AND OU COLLEGE FOOTBALL. THINGS THAT ARE PUT ON THIS BLOG WILL USUALLY BE BASED ON THESE SUBJECTS , BUT NOT ALL THE TIME.
