I really figured this might make Ty Lawson more
attractive to the Denver Nuggets.
Lawson was arrested in Chapel
Hill last week and the 20-year-old Tar Heels
sophomore was charged with driving after consuming alcohol.
Remember, the Nuggets are the same time with Allen Iverson, J.R. Smith, Carmelo
Anthony and Kenyon Martin.
However, Lawson wasn’t at his scheduled workout in Denver on Sunday.
"When I was coming this morning, I thought he was going to be here,"
Nuggets coach George Karl told the Denver Post.
The word around NBA circles was that the Nuggets hold Lawson in high regard and
were considering taking the speedy floor leader with the 20th overall
pick in the draft.
