J'MISON MORGAN LIKELY HEADED TO WESTWOOD
May 12, 2008 | 7:29PM | report this
It looks as though UCLA may have its replacement for Kevin Love soon.

Sources told FOXSports.com that LSU coach Trent Johnson will release big man J'Mison Morgan from his letter-of-intent on Tuesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-10 Texan will likely sign with Ben Howland and the Bruins - and that would be fill UCLA's primary need for next season.

Howland has plenty of perimeter players with the return of point guard Darren Collison and also the arrival of freshman guards Jrue Holliday, Malcolm Lee and Jerime Anderson.

Wing Josh Shipp and forward Luc Mbah a Moute have both declared for the NBA Draft, but both are expected to return to school.

The addition of Morgan (aka Bobo) would put UCLA in a legitimate position to go to a fourth consecutive Final Four.
