PASTNER LEAVES FOR MEMPHIS
May 08, 2008 | 7:34AM | report this
Arizona assistant coach Josh Pastner has agreed in principle to a deal that will have him join John Calipari in Memphis.

According to sources, the 30-year-old is currently en route to Memphis to finalize the agreement.

Pastner's departure makes it a clean sweep of Arizona assistants to leave the program - joining Kevin O'Neill and Mikes Simon. However, O'Neill and Simon were forced out while Pastner is leaving, according to sources, because he feels as though he'll have a better chance of landing a head job with Calipari than under Lute Olson.
