PROVIDENCE PLAYING KENO
Apr 14, 2008 | 7:13PM | report this
It appears as though Providence has targeted the National Coach of the Year - Drake's Keno Davis.

Sources told FOXSports.com that Davis, who spent some time an hour or so away at Boston College, was meeting with the Providence brass on Monday.

Davis would be a home run hire for Providence AD Bob Driscoll after he missed with alum Jim Larranaga and also UMass coach Travis Ford.

Davis is just 36 years old and took the Bulldogs to the NCAA tournament in his only season at the helm after replacing his father, Tom Davis.
