Hello everyone I hope this post finds you all in the best of spirits. It has come to my attention from the countless emails I have recieved and finaly had a chance to read from one special friend Kristen Valus that more than just a few of you were worried about me. It has been a long and very trying month for me. So hear is the latest on my condition and what has transpired the last few weeks.
When I last posted here it may have seemed I was doing just fine, heck I was even thinking the same myself. However such was not the case at all. About a month ago during my last post I was having terrible headaches that were almost crippling. I had my brain scanned once again to find out that I had some minor bleeding still going on. None of which was the medical staff that did the surgery on me was at fault. I am the one t blame. I pushed myself to hard to soon, which resulted in my brain having a sort of aneurysm. So needless to say I had to have more work done on my fragile brain.
The good news is I spent the last 3 weeks resting and doing all the doctors told me to do and things are looking real good at this point. I feel fine and both the doctors and I expect an easy recovery from here on out. As for the rest of my body, my bones are all healed with the exception of light soreness in my ribs still but that's to be expected. I feel stronger than I ever did and am looking forward to discussing our varied opinions on the wonderful world of sports.
Thanks to everyone for your concern and to Kristen,volfan,mooondog and anyone else who has inquired about my status and why I was M.I.A. for the past month. I can never come up with the words to say just how much I appreciate everyones concern for me. I can say though I haven't forgotten about any of you and that I also haven't found as great of people as you all amongst any of my local friends. Once again thank you so very much for being so kind and concerned. I'm not afraid to say that it made even a tough man like me shed a few tears. I love you all and will forever keep you in my prayers.
Kristen, Lisa, Dwindy, Moondog, Reverend Rhythem, Mike Greenspire,Volfan and anyone else I forgot to mention thx again for all you well wishes and concern. You are the greatest group of friends a poor old Nawlins boy like myself could ever hope for. Now I'm ready for some football!
Geezz! I thought it was going to be something serious like you weren't an LSU fan anymore and now you were going to pull for the Crimson Tide or something... Man, you had me worried!

I too was in the hospital...had an emergency blood transfusion, I was bleeding internally and took 6 pints of blood....Dang, our bodies have gotten trashed! Welcome back, now behave yourself! I'm tired of worrying about you.

Hello sweetheart and thx it's great to be back. I am still fishing around my emails at this time trying to catch up on everything. I had 152 emails in my hotmail account and 200 so far in my yahoo so probably haven't ran across yours just yet. Thx for sending me one though.
Wow sorry to hear about your illness! What caused you to have to suffer such a thing? I'll keep you in my prayers and hope you never have to go through such a tragic thing like that again.
I'll be taking good care of myself from here on out you can believe that. I have plans to visit sunny California in the fall. I'm determined to make it there and nothing short of God is going to stop me.
Lisa and gambit- Make sure you both get healed back up all the way and its great to have you both here. I need somebody's blog to read once in a while.

gambit, always glad to hear good news. I've been away for awhile and had no idea this was going on- that stuff's no joke, man. Anyway, I got to know you a bit last college football season (mucho smack talk lol), and look forward to hearing more from you this year- so take it easy this time!!!

gambitxx- Sorry to hear you've had all this going on. I was a ways a few months as well and returned this month because of a few Foxmails from Kristen and the great Forensic that had been sitting in my mail collecting dust. Their care and concerns convinced me that there are some great people around here that do a lot for each other, and frienships in this community are blessings to us all.
We always need some Cajun Flavor from the gambitxx once in a while to keep us rollin down easy street in Foxville, so do what the Docs ask of ya and keep yourself healthy.

Glad to see you are back amongst us here @ fox. Been missing you and your comments myself. It has been a very tough year for me so far but things are looking better now. I agree if not for people like Kristen and Lisa just to name a few I would have been long gone from here. There are a few #### clowns that would have run me off already. I stay mainly because of them.

Thx and I am a sucker for new friends lol! I actually had a very horrific accident involving a four-wheeler that resulted in me having serious ijuries to my cranium and brain. During my rehab I pushed myself to hard and caused this to happen. It wasn't as serious as it could have been but in due time the latest problem could have eventually killed me. Yes us men are very stubborn I agree. Had I not been unconscience when the accident happened I would have never went to the hospital. Just the stubborn man in me. thx again and happy to be a friend.

Your going to need all the rest you can get so you can tolerate the up and down season your boy JJ is having, I think the Chase is going to be exciting!

I'm so happy to be able make you smile with my presence here. Yeah I shouldn't have waited a few days till my next appointment to go to my doctor. Thx for spareing me the lecture. I've been told enough times by both my sisters to never wait again. I just thought it may have been normal to have those pains because of the trauma. Guess that's what I get for thinking. I'm stubborn as a mule though and hate doctors and hospitals.

I trust that the ordeal that you've been through has been an excursion that you're now over with for good.
If I'd knew that sending over some nubile young masseuse's wouldn't set you off . Then I'd do so but it'd be in our best interests if you were to make a full recovery then we can rethink that very issue once and for all.

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better, because I was wondering recently about you. I've had my own bouts in the past where I've been near death (pancreatits and high chlorestrol are not a good combo to have), and what happened to you sounds the same as what took my mother in 2001. Rest comfortably, and hopefully you'll be ready for the NFL to start!

I'm sure that she's given a few sponge baths in her time and made her male patients extremely happy. But I digress this isn't about me. It's all about you . So keep those pure thoughts or impure as the case might be on the backburner for now until you're in the right shape of mind physically.
