There is no doubt that this season in college football has been for lack of a better word crazy. The same holds true for the LSU Tigers and it's fans. After getting off to a quick start by slaughtering  VT 48-7 the second week of the season, it wasn't long before fans and media thought this team was a shoe in for the BCS championship game. Then came along a Kentucky Wildcat team that at the time was on a roll. They beat LSU in triple overtime and bounced the Tigers from the #1 spot in the polls.

 LSU kept plugging away though and soon was on a collision course with either Georgia or Tenn. in the SEC Title game. First they had to face an Arkansas team with a running back named Darren McFadden who has giving the Tigers fits in the past. Needless to say LSU lost that game also in 3 overtimes. Nobody expected that after winning the SEC Title game that both the #1 and #2 teams would both lose and LSU would find itself not only talked about again for the BCS Championship game but be in it after being selected as the #2 team in the Nation.

It took a whole lot of hard work from these young men to get itself into this game against the #1 Ohio st. Buckeyes. It will take the same to defeat them as well. The Buckeyes are no slouches and deserve to be there as much as LSU. They have some solid players both on offense and defense. A healthy LSU though in my opinion has just a little bit more. Question is... who wants it more? Which team is hungry and ready to shut up those who say they don't belong? On Jan. 7 we will find out just that, two teams, a trophy and one champion. Will it be Ohio st. or will it be LSU?
