It's now or never...

The New Orleans Saints take on the Carolina panthers this week after comeing off a bye. Which means they have had a whole extra week of practice and film study to get ready for the Panthers. Carolina will be limited to what they can accomplish on offense with Jake Delhomme out. Last week Steve Smith had a horrible game and all this should play right in the hands of New Orleans less than mediocre secondary. Carolinas Defense isn't what it used to be either.  The Saints will have to adjust their offense after losing Deuce McAllister for the season dur to a torn ACL. Reggie Bush, Aaron Stecker and Rookie Pierre Thomas will all have to pull their weight to carry this team to victory come sunday. On Defens e the Panthers are led by Julius Peppers an explosive and powerful DE. He has caused problems for the saints in the past and I am sure he will be looking to do so again this game. On the offensive side Steve Smith would not talk to the media last week after losing to the Buc's but sources say that he was in a heated argument with coaching staff after the game. Smith was coverd most of the game by Tampas Ronde Barber who said they did nothing special but that Carr for some reason couldn't get the ball in his hands often enough. Deshaun Foster will be a tough task for the Saints to contain. He is a very powerful runner and the Saints Defense has been burned by him befor. Last year he had a 43 yd run for a TD that put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter in carolina. All in all the Saints need to come out this game with a win if they are to have any momentum going into Seattle following this game. A win here then seattle and another win back home against Atlanta will put the Saints at 3-3 which will make the season look not so bleak. This is an uphill battle for the Saints but it has been and can be done. There are some really good player on this team. It will take a collective and cohesive unit to get the job done. I have Faith in this team as I'm sure many other fans of teams who are going through similar curcumstances have in theirs as well. It's now are never for the Saints. If they lose this weekend they can get started on looking at areas they need to improve in the draft.

Feel bad for New Orleans fans. all those years of suffering. Thing finally look bright, then the curse strikes again.
When the Deuce is loose, so are the wheels that drive that team, and right now, your running on four flat tires.
Hopefully LSU can make up for the difference for ya this year. They look pretty tought to beat.

Yeah texascudaguy it is pretty tough being a Saints fan this year. Hard part to believe is that it's the same team from last year. what happened to the Mojo? Lsu is tough and I fully expect and believe they'll be national Champs when it's all said and done.
