For the first time in Tom Brady’s 7 year career as starting QB on the New England Patriots, Brady finally has some explosive weapons of Moss Destruction. In week 8 he has already exceeded the number of touchdowns in each of his prior 16 game seasons.
I know I’m not the only one who has said that Brady would be unbelievable if he had the kind of weapons Manning has had all along. With all infamous QB’s there is always a receiver associated with them, with Brady it was half his team including a Line Backer.
Now that Brady does have an air dropping bomb in Moss, who can miraculously catch the long pass in double coverage to the point where you just scratch your head and say, “how in the hell did he do that?”
He has a missile in Welker who can catch and dodge tackles like no ones business and the precision guided Stallworth scoring TD like he’s talking a stroll in the park. The rest of the team is packed with enough ammunition to take down anyone in their path.
Prepare for some shocked and awe when the Patriots take the field on Sunday. Close game? Hardly! Cowboys had the number 2 defense when they played the Patriots and they couldn’t contain Brady! Redskins…well I’ll leave that sore spot alone. Can the Colts stop them?
If you look at last year’s game, they couldn’t stop Brady’s 34 points without any weapons! What makes you think they can stop him with his weapons? Because they have a better defense? That remains to be seen.
