he is only been in the league for 4 yrs and has done a fine job for my boys- opinions are like azzholes and mine is Glad to have him sticking around with us....GO STEELERS!!!
IMO- this is another "kordell stewart" case. The Jags are wasting time and money on a quarterback that will not deliever his team where they want to be. Leftwich is visually the most uncoordinatated man at the postion in the NFL. He can barely get out of the way of his own 2 feet, Yes there were some dropped balls last year from the receivers. But this mans(leftwich)complete lack of "mobility" in dropping back or rolling out is a scary thing to watch. There are lots of strong arm football players out there and not all of them QB's-and Leftwich is no QB!!!!
FCOL- be lucky he is still in football. Like it or not you have a obligation "off the field" as well, And if you cant hold up to that, you need to be disaplined and harshly especially with what went down that you were involoved in. If you are so called "taking it like a man"- then shut the hell up, pay the "small" price that has been handed down to you and for Gods sake change your stupid-#### decision making and what kind of people you hang with. I like mr Goddel's policy of tighening up the punishment for wrong doings in the NFL, it has been long over due, and i for one am looking for alot more "disapline" being served. This is a great sport and always will be no matter who plays it, As there will always be men who have talent and will do the right thing on and off the field. So if we lose a few that have great talent, but cant make clear calls weather to do something stupid or not..then so be it. I sincerley hope this is just the start of things to come....bye bye losers!!!
THE MAN DESERVES EVERY ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND PRAISE FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE IN HIS 15 YR HISTORY.... BUT LIKE EVERY OTHER ATHELTE THERE COMES A TIME TO CALL IT QUITS AND IMO BRETT HAS PASSED IT. IM SURE ITS VERY HARD TO LEAVE A GAME THAT YOU ARE SO PASSIONITE WITH, BUT IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON AND LET SOMEONE ELSE HAVE THE "LIMELIGHT" NOW. ONCE AGAIN HE DESERVES THE HALL OF FAME AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT GOES ALONG WITH THAT. BUT LEAVE ON A HIGH NOTE WHILE YOU CAN....
A response to New charges against troubled WR Henry: 4 times in 7 mos is ridiculous, it would be nice to see the Bengals make the first "big" move at settting a example of these #### players that think they can do whatever they want and just take a "slap on the hand", I know its only a pipe-dream of mine as im sure nothing will happen to this bozo in the end. But im extremely sick of this S*** in all sports. Certain things come with being in the "lime light"- responsibility, common sense, ethics, and so on, And like it or not these people are idols to the young and dumb and are influnenced by them and their actions. The Eagles made a statement when they finally got rid of terrell ownes, I just hope other teams like the Bengals follow suit on these guys!!!
To say that it would be a different outcome if Palmer played the whole game is "ludicrous" Playoffs are all about experince, And the Steelers by far have more of it and with success as well. A coach that has taken his team to the playoffs 10 of his 14 yrs with that team says enough!!!
Although i dont agree with some of the picks...(BIG SURPRISE!) i found the article very funny and amuzing. Its the old saying about "Opinions" and nothing is more true when it comes to sports! The only thing i want to say at this time is...."GO STEELERS"!!!!! and that comes from a true non-bandwaging fan.
i live and love in San Diego, But oddly enough i am a HUGE Steelers fan, And have been since the late 70's. Married to a woman who loves Football as much as i do, I also love Baseball and personally IMO should as its a great game and it is our "pastime". I value peoples opinion about sports as i can learn from them, as long as its not vicious attacks because of something personal or just plain hatred. go STEELERS!!!
FISHBURN OUT!
