Jason Peter's is a player many people haven't heard of. He's a great tackle nonetheless, but isn't coming to practice until he gets a BIG raise. Lee Evans is a guy more people have heard of, has one year left on his contract, and is still showing up to practice even though he wants more money. The Bills are all about character, and should take care of the guy that's showing up for practice, but instead, they are taking care of the greedy guy. What's up with this?
When they give in to his demands, they set a standard for others to follow. Its not a good thing. Seahawks had one a few years ago doing the same thing. They kicked him off the team. We had one and gave in to him. Next year we had two more.
IMO if the man is under contract and the practices are mandatory for everyone, if he holds out, you fine him until it hurts and then suspend him and fine him again.
