I agree with what you say...however, the ultimate goal here is to make people more aware of the fact that dog fighting is real, and that it is a gruesome underground business...that needs to more closely monitored. In fact, this could be a blessing in disguise before it's all over.

If he is a registered do breeder do you think he will now fight dogs when his name is all over documents with the humane society as a residtered dog breeder. Yes he has dogs a lot of them as well but he does not fight dogs get to know someone before you make up stuff.
Mike is a wonderful young man who is the pillar of so many children's foundation and help a whole lot of people but u all do not see al that all u want is the downfall of a man by any means necessary.
I don't know Michael Vick. But just from his interview you can see he is an arrogant S.O.B. who thinks he's above the law. I do hope that IF he is involved with this type of behavior that he gets the maximum punishment by law. And he is banned for life from the NFL. I'm not for him being thrown into a ring of pit bulls so they can shred him apart. It's a thought but that would make me as much a lowlife barbarian as he and serve no purpose. This reminds me of a movie that was made a few years back. It was set in Vietnam and the P.O.W.'s were forced to play russian roulette, as the officers and locals bet. It was only a movie. But this smacks of it.
The movie was Deer Hunter I believe. I don't know much about Vick off the field, but if he is such a pillar of children foundations, what kind of message is he sending when he flips off the crowd on tv? Not being sarcastic, just what I think.
The ATL fans I work with say that the owner will put Vick on a much shorter ethical leash(trademark) now that he's been linked to the doggy fighting. Giving up on an entire sesason to give the franchise time to find a real QB would be worth it.

Marty...as always, it's a pleasure to ready your comments. I don't know, I think I get out debated quite a bit. I'm just like everyone else, I have an opinion, and I DON'T back down if I believe I'm right. I think I stand up for what is right. It may not be what the judge will decide, or the jury...but I believe it is the moral and ethical decision. I like to think that our judicial system always gets it right...however, in reality it doesn't. But it's still the best system in the world!!! And yes, anyone who supports these guys that are involved in dog fighting are a disgrace to the human race.

However, if you really think about it, we use animals for food, milk, and some still use them for farming. Guess what, that's all for money. It's a fine line. On this Memorial Day, thank you for your service. Having said that, I think the investigators are dotting their i's and crossing their t's and they are waiting until the evidence is overwhelmingly in their favor. If justice is served correctly, not only will Vick be indicted/convicted, but he won't be in the NFL for the foreseeable future. Then who will the Falcons go with? Joey Harrington? PUH-LEEZE!!!It's going to be a LONG year for the Dirty Birds. (As a Panthers fan I think two wins against the Falcons is likely.)

Fatmaw, xbulrdr is a cool dude. he just started and we get along great. he's pissed at the others who never served a day and even if they did, they missed out entirely on what the whole military thing is. there isn't that much respect from a very small portion of our ountry, but they all have big mouths. Just click on the pic...copy and past it into the blog...then you can click on the pic once it has been pasted onto the blog. once you click on it, you can go to the pic's corners and make it smaller. We had a blogger on here...dusty...who threatened anyone who decented from his view. he claimed they were racist and that they were haters...and threatened to charge them with harrassment. It was a turbulent time here on FoxBlogs. but we all banded together and pretty much forced him out. He has been exposed for who he really is. Hello sports fans. My name is Matt Faw. I am from North Wilkesboro, NC. North Wilkesboro is a small town about 90 miles north of Charlotte, NC. I am a United States Marine and was very happy when we were able to follow college and professional football while deployed to Iraq in 2004. I am a die-hard Tar Heel fan. I actually grew up a huge Oakland Raider fan, a closet Chicago Bears fan, and came to be a die-hard Carolina Panthers fan after their inception into the league in 1995. Needless to say, the Raiders nor the Bears have given me much to cheer about over the years, with the exception of few good years.
