Warning...Political Post (Part 2)
May 04, 2007 | 10:15AM | report this

In the wake of my latest post, depicting the outrageous actions of those who have entered our country illegally, but then turn around and have the audacity to demand rights from it, I felt it appropriate to post an email I received from a friend of mine yesterday.  Granted, I can't proove that this email is authentic, because I cannot verify that it has not been tampered with.

However, aside from the numbers and sources used, it is still worth noting that there is growing concerns from our CITIZENS, here in our great land, of our own government's inability to contain a very real issue that is, and will continue to plague our younger generations until it is contained.

It is time we opened our eyes to reality!!!  Let frenzy #2 begin...

If this doesn't open your eyes... Nothing will!

From the L. A. Times

1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County (L. A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes.

This was because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card.

2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

5. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

9. 21 radio stations in L. A. Are Spanish speaking.

10. In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English.  3.9 million speak Spanish.  (There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County)..

(All the above from the Los Angeles Times)

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare.

Over 70% of the United States ' annual population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration.

The cost of immigration to the American taxpayer in 1997 was, (after subtracting taxes immigrants pay), a NET $70 BILLION/ year, [Professor Donald Huddle, Rice University ].

The lifetime fiscal impact (taxes paid minus services used) for the average adult Mexican immigrant is a NEGATIVE Number.

29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens If they can come to this country to raise Hell and demonstrate by the thousands, WHY can't they take charge over the corruption in their own country?

We are fools for letting this continue.

THE U.S. VS MEXICO

On February 15, 1998 , the U.S. And Mexican soccer teams met at the Los Angeles Coliseum.  The crowd was overwhelmingly pro-Mexican even though most lived in this country.

They booed during the National Anthem and U.S. Flags were held upside down.

As the match progressed, supporters of the U.S. Team were insulted, pelted with projectiles, punched and spat upon.

Beer and trash were thrown at the U.S. Players before and after the match.

The coach of the U.S. Team, Steve Sampson said, "This was the most painful experience I have ever had in this profession."

Did you know that immigrants from Mexico and other non-European countries can come to this country and get preferences in jobs, education, and government contracts.  It's called affirmative action or racial privilege.

The Emperor of Japan or the President of Mexico could migrate here and immediately be eligible for special rights unavailable for Americans of European descent.

Corporate America has signed on to the idea that minorities and third world immigrants should get special, privileged status.

Some examples are Exxon,Texaco, Merrill ####, Boeing, Paine Weber, Star-bucks and many more.

DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know ... That Mexico regularly intercedes on the side of the defense in criminal Cases involving Mexican nationals?
According to the L. A Times,

Orange County, California is home to 275 Gangs with 17,000 members, 98% of which are Mexican and Asian.
How's your county doing?

According to a New York Times article dated May 19, 1994, 20 years after the great influx of legal immigrants from Southeast Asia, 30% are still on welfare compared to 8% of households nationwide.

A Wall Street Journal editorial, dated December 5, 1994, quotes law enforcement officials as stating that Asian mobsters are the "greatest criminal challenge the country faces."

Not bad for a group that is still under 5% of the population.

Is education important to you?

Here are the words of a teacher who spent 20 years in the Los Angeles School system:  "Imagine teachers in classes containing 30-40 students of widely varying attention spans and motivation, many of whom aren't fluent in English.

Educators seek learning materials likely to reach the majority of students and that means fewer words and math problems and more pictures and multicultural references."

WHEN I WAS YOUNG

I remember hearing about the immigrants that came through Ellis Island.  They wanted to learn English.  They wanted to breathe free.  They wanted to become Americans.  Now, far too many immigrants come here with demands.  They demand to be taught in their own language.  They demand special privileges .. affirmative action.  They demand ethnic studies that glorify their culture.

Fatmaw: Came across fine and dandy. Of course it doesn't matter, people will complain they deserve to be here without paying for anything. Pretty soon there won't be enough money to support them, so mebbe they will return to Mejico. Fuzz

Howdy Fuzz...good to see ya. Yipp, people will complain that they aren't getting hand outs. I'll tell ya...I keep saying this...but after what my wife and I have done to do this Green Card thing the right way...I have no sympathy for those who decide to evade the government thru illegal means..and then demand that they be given rights...although all they really deserve is a free ticket home, or to the federal pen.

I hope this starts a discussion of peoples' "rights" under existing law(s). It seems that people want to come to "our" nation without having to work as former immigrants did. If they do work, they wish to be paid in cash, with no money taken out for taxes that we all pay or paid.
Perhaps if the guvmint would focus on those companies and persons who also pay in cash and do not submit taxes, as required by law, some of these practices would stop. When I was Chief of Police in a northeastern town there was an arson which I investigated, alongwith a State Fire Marshal, that turned up some interesting facts. The owner, it was later found set the fire to destroy records of employees who were paid, but no taxes were forwarded to the various taxing bodies, including the IRS, from their paychecks, even though the deductions were made. He was a drug addict and a gambling addict; used the the money to continue his addictions.
He was not only charged with Arson, a felony, but with violation(s) of Federal law, State law and Local law that required tax monies be deducted and paid to the various taxing bodies. He received a very stiff penalty from Federal Court in Scranton, Pa, plus other convictions ran concurrently with time to be served in the Federal Penal System.
It's about time the governments focus on these practices that are being used again. Fuzz

One more thing in reference to "Illegals"; try, if you would like to, to emigrate to, and become a citizen of Mexico, Columbia, Iran, etc. You will find that you aren't wanted there. In Mexico you will not be allowed to be elected to any office, you aren't even allowed to "run" for office there. To hold political office in Mexico, you must be native born and of Mexican descent (I believe). You are allowed to visit, spend all your money there, live there with no rights, draw no welfare from the Mexican government and be a non-citizen. If you have children born there, they will not be considered citizens either!! Fuzz

Hmm...as someone who is living in so cali (orange county) I would say most of the facts are about right, except for the warrants being 95% illegal aliens. That's not correct.
You have a lot of white trash living in the outlying communities and desert area cooking up meth labs. The reason why I think the number is incorrect is that most of them don't have ID's, so how can a warrant be issued?

Maybe the number should be "of the mexican/latino warrants issued, 95% of them are for illegal aliens." That sounds more correct. There are so many races here, there's a reason why LA is called a melting pot.

Luckily, I live in an area where we see no gang activity. But 30 miles away is a different story, especially around Disneyland. Hookers everywhere on Harbor Blvd due to all the conventions, and lots of gang activity. Sad.

Here's my thang with the Mexican illegal aliens. I don't blame them for wanting to defect here. I can understand their desire to leave a country of..well..nothing. They have no job opportunities or sufficient education. In fact, they probably get better educations here. If I were a Mexican, I would want to come to the states too. However, first impressions are never forgotten. And if my first act was to attempt an illegal defection...and then subsequently ask for "rights" from a country I do not belong too...in any way whatsoever...I think my chances of doing things the honorable and noble way are gone. There, maybe that gets my point across a little better.

Well, there definatley need sto be a grip placed upon the infiltration for so many reason. Unfortunately it profits big businesses in many ways. That said, you know how slow legislation will be to start corrective action.

Go back & read my comment(s). What if the guvmint starts checking on businesses that pay in cash, under the table etc. They could force the illegals to pay taxes by payroll deductions as is required. Go after the compainies, they'll have to pony up or suffer massive fines. Look what they did with Walmart's illegals and what 'bout that meat packing plant that was in the news a while back for illegals. Fuzz

I usually am a bit of liberal on peoples rights. In this case if they want to stay in this country then pay taxes, get citizenship papers, support our country or get the hell out. Another alternative, round them up and put them in a reservation set up with fences like we did the American Indians in the 1800s. A thought would be to invade Mexico and make it our new state. That way they would no longer be illegal aliens but Americans and would not have to jump any more borders. ( ummm not a good thought)

Here in Va Bch there's a big stink on this subject. It seems an illegal (with prior CONVICTIONS of DUI and public drunkeness) killed two young girls while driving drunk yet again. Apparently the Authorities either could not, or would not, question a persons residency status. Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo picked up on the story, harassed the Mayor, and the Chief cop, and now the rules have been changed.

The Anglo Saxons basically took this land from the Amer. Indians, the same way it's being taken from us. We started moving in, and by the time the natives were tired of us.... we had superior numbers and firepower... and they lost the fight. Some Native Americans that I know, are philosophical on the subject.... they figure their tribe had taken the land from some other tribe, who had taken it from yet another tribe, and so on and so on.....
We have to make a decision.... is this just the "Natural Progression" of things? Or.... do we want to keep the country as it is??
If we (as a Country) would like to keep this from being Mexico Norte'........ then we should start fighting NOW!! While we still have the advantage of #'s and weapons.... we aren't going to get a lot of "Thinking about it" time.......

If not..... Pass the salsa.......

Oh.... Hi Matt.......

i dont buy this at all. that gang quote is ridiculous. i remember reading the same #### about blacks in the early 90s, nearly word for word. what i dont understand is why white americans let the media get them so worked up about everything. some newspaper reports a study about gangs with no possible method of figuring out who's in a gang and who isnt. next day, all the white folk are in publix buying up all the water preparing for catastrophe. dont ya'll get tired of being scared of every damn thing?? i'm actually sad that old white americans are getting comfortable with blacks, i miss being enemy #1. but it looks so ridiculous. when i get to work, everyone is standing around talking about how frightened they are of terrorism and mexicans. wait, thats a lie. all the white folks are standing around the cooler talking about what scares them. i'm not scared of mexican, dominicans or whatever. whenever anyone wants to know what its like to group with gangs, call and ask me. my brother is in houston right now, prolly ####ing - its what got him run outta SC. lets keep the sensationalism to a minimum, puh leeze.

there is no way any newspaper anywhere has any idea how many people are here illegally. if a newspaper could find them, so could the sheriff. but what would walmart do - my hypocritical friends - if we took away their illegal work force? are you all ready to start paying - gasp - above whole sale?
the gangs comment - made about blacks in the 90s. the illegal births comment? made about blacks on welfare.

i'll tell you another thing, my closest work buddies are here legally and they cant buy a way to stay. they do the right thing and they'll be back home at the end of their work visa dodging bullets. why should they do the right thing? its the american way to lie and steal and cheat - if you believe anything else, youre very foolish. take a long walk in my shoes. get profiled in traffic. get denied service at a restaurant. have a father disown his daughter because she's married to you. then speak to me honor and legalities. what special rights are these damn wetbacks getting? the right to work 4 jobs and sleep in a garage? maybe mow a lawn in 110 degree columbian heat? never legally own anything? live on the run?

What I DO know is this: My father and uncle both died for this country. But only after it was determined that I had terminal cancer did I recieve any kind of disability pay. After more than four years and two appeals..at the time of my diagnosis I was waiting for a hearing before a judge. I was born and raised in this country...and that was a mark against me. That does not make the system a respectable one for me.

I thought this was a sports section? Either way I’m all about this as well, look...there’s lies, damn lies, and statistics, so while you saying how many hundreds, thousands of illegal personnel are wanted, charged with murder, in gangs, etc.. in LA, maybe you should mention the NUMBER, NOT THE % of illegal people in LA, so people can see it's probably high numbers considering almost everyone in LA is illegal, if you go to a town full of white people, the stats might say something like "90% of warrants in this town are for white people, or 98% births in this town are white children, same thing as for a black neighborhood, Mexican, etc...So there is no argument there. But on the other hand, I do agree that there should be a process in place where illegals should be made to take lessons on English, people say this is America "a home for different cultures and religions", now this is true but at the same time, it is a country with a first language as well, and American's should not be expected to learn every language of immigrants to make things as simple as shopping, and calling 1-800 numbers easier, and I do agree they should pay a decent amount to receive a legal citizenship, due to the facts that yes, they do owe us taxes, but I definately do not prefer that they be sent back because sadly too many Americans who do nothing for themselves beleive they are too good to work the jobs that immigrants will do for whatever they can make, so I applaud them for working as hard as they do and doing whatever it takes to support their family,

but at the same time the Americans who dont think they are too good for the same jobs, are paying taxes while getting payed little, so they definately owe some tax money in one way or another, But I definately feel you were way too "south will rise again" when posting this blog, Maybe you should post one with stats on how many Americans have no jobs, collect welfare, and stay home with hungry children all day when our country offers one job to every person that includes full benefits, to include education, and health coverage, and decent pay, can you guess? Yes, join the damn service is what they should do, so our people arent exactly helping out this community or economy i should say, much more than immigrants....

As I mentioned on Fatmaw's other blog, I'm completely for immigrants as long as they come here legally -- sign the guestbook on the way in.

However, it does seem ironic to me that we stole this country from the Mexicans (and the Indians) and we now play bouncer at our common border with them.

Annexing Mexico would just be the conclusion of a 500-year-old game.

And I'm not so sure Mexico would be better off under American rule. Iraq isn't looking so hot with the U.S. meddling in its affairs, is it?

I agree with Ultra (that's 3 times). But, we didn't steal the land from the Amer Indians. The Dutch bought Manhatten from the Indians for some beads & trinkets and the Indians thought they made out cause they weren't all that enamored of the area anyway. The Spanish took all the land south, remember the term the "Spanish Main"? Then come the English, they take the land away from the French and Dutch. Later we take the land away from the English, the French, the Spanish, the Indians, and later still, the Mexicans (a mixture of Indian and Spanish peoples). It's like we "won" WWII and defeated the hell out of the Japs, but who eventually won??

golden one pull your head out of your #### there is a problem and its not just la its in every state in the union americans cant own property in mexico so why should the illegal thieving beaners have any rights here why is it ok for an illegal to kill two cops in denver run back to mexico knowing extradition will be contingent to the sub human back shooting #### not getting the death penalty the same for the spanish #### that tied a woman to the back of his car and drove until her carcass broke at the neck giving any of these illegals anything is dis respectful to those that have become naturalized legaly we also need to police our totaly corrupt ins agency !!! CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME AMERICA LOVE IT!! JOIN IT!! OR LEAVE IT!! THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND

Deemon, So what your saying is that only illegals get away with outrageous crimes in this country? No, but of course it's made more public due to the large demand on immigration problems in the last 5yrs...And nobody is saying to give them anything, so learn how to read before telling me ####, I stated their should be processes for making them legal if they want as well as reimbursing the government for taxes from the timeline they have been here, and Charity already began at home, it's not the illegals fault that we have some of the most ungrates in this country who take for advantage the #### we give them such as welfare, government housing, etc...we spoil our poor in this country and they sit back and waste our damn tax money while we're working our #### off, which again proves my point on why illegals should pay back a certain amount, so unless you like watching people do nothing at all with their lives and living off of our charity that begins "at home", you should look into that argument more than 2 cases you can think of where illegals got away with murder when our rich and famous get away with the same thing.....but yeah real good argument there buddy

My wife is a LEGAL resident alien. She has lived here for the past 20 years and has worked and paid income tax every year. She respects our laws, lives by our laws and is greatful for her second home in the United States. She also has a younger sister who graduated from the University of Manila and has a degree in business and economics. She went on to get a degree in Secondary Education.

My wife and I sponsored her immigration papers and were denied. We found a private school to sponsor her work visa and she was denied. Then she applied for a touist visa and it was denied because of here previous visa applications...the immigration department feared that she would come here on a tourist visa and not leave.

In the meantime...we foot the bill for illegals while educated, law abiding hopefulls are kept out of our country.

Ain't that a kick in the head Pig? The INS has a phobia about Phillipine people, really! Think it started years & years ago when males here were purchasing brides from there, finding out that they made a mistake, divorced the woman who, with no job skills, etc. remained here, legally. I had a friend who did just that and then tried to buy another bride, but by then the INS stopped the importation of Phillipine brides, but were "allowing" the importation of Chinese and Viet brides. BTW: go over and read Lisa's blog, velly interesting and 7 pages long!! Fuzz

Thanks guys...for the dialogue.

Pig...I hate to hear that about your sister in law. As long as INS remains fickle about who they approve and who they deny, the immigration process will remain a hassle..and to some extent, unfair. I commend you guys on attempting to do it legally...just as my wife and I did it. Maybe you should join a "cult" where polygamy is allowed..LOL!!! I'm really sorry to hear about that. And to top it all off, we would get 5 different answers to questions from 5 different INS agents. We were always doing/not doing things based on 5 different answers from 5 different agents. They can't get their facts and stories straight. Thanks for stopping by!!

Your wife like mine, have a green card, which basically they told her when they gave it to her " Congratulations, you are now a taxpayer. We got ours as soon ads i was hired by Airbourne Express near Cincinnati. It took about 3 weeks todo all the paperwok at the consulate in Frankfurt.

She knew going into it that there was no other way for here. She wanted no problems and she knew she might have to work.

The mexicans can go back to their own country, and do it the right weay. I don't even people really think just how much trouble we are in for with all these illegals in country. We are in for a rude awakening, especially when ms 13 shows up at your door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello sports fans. My name is Matt Faw. I am from North Wilkesboro, NC. North Wilkesboro is a small town about 90 miles north of Charlotte, NC. I am a United States Marine and was very happy when we were able to follow college and professional football while deployed to Iraq in 2004. I am a die-hard Tar Heel fan. I actually grew up a huge Oakland Raider fan, a closet Chicago Bears fan, and came to be a die-hard Carolina Panthers fan after their inception into the league in 1995. Needless to say, the Raiders nor the Bears have given me much to cheer about over the years, with the exception of few good years. The Panthers have been more competitive on a more consistent basis over the past ten years than either the Raiders or the Bears. Debate on fellow sportsters. mattfaw@gmail
