Day 3 in the books for BYU and it seems as though the defense is reloading appropriately.
The offense is only replacing the center, Senior Sete Auli, who although was formidable and all MWC as last year's starter, would at times mess up some key plays with penalties.
Nobody is perfect.
But Brigham Young is shooting for perfection, 2008!
If it can handle the PAC 10 UW and UCLA, it just might do the trick.
We shall see. Utah and a wild card Mountain West team or two can always spoil things. Those Utes make it tough.
They (the Cougars) are already going to be ranked in the preseason top 20 or 25, so we shall see what could happen.
Loaded at RB, TE and receiver, plus a veteran OL and second year QB, this offense will be difficult to stop.
The question will be the defense, and based on the last two years' results, I thionk we are in good shape.
They are deep and competitive back there. At every position.
Vic So'oto switched from TE to LB. And he is a manimal.

now the question at the university of oregon this year???? will the coaches as thye did last year forget about a backup QB?????????? just in case!!!!!!
Programs like USC, BYU, Notre Dame, Colorado and LSU are among his many scholarship offers. He is wide open and is looking for a school where he can feel comfortable with both the academic and athletic atmosphere and build a relationship with his offensive line coach.
"I want to play in the NFL someday and I'm looking for a football program and a coaching staff that will prepare me to accomplish just that by the time my college career is over."
As a devout Mormon, it's equally important for him that the college he picks allows him to fulfill his mission responsibility.
Away from football, Su'a Filo also played basketball his freshman and sophomore year at Timpview, understanding his foot quickness and hand-eye coordination would benefit from the hardwood. He also enjoys relaxing to jazz, reggae or rap and playing video games.
It's easy to see why Su'a Filo is such a hot item; few high school football players are as talented, determined and focused.
Su'a Filo's Scouts Inc. Evaluation
Su'a Filo's "X factor" is he can run well for an offensive lineman. His physical structure and abilities make him a very good guard prospect. Can pull and trap as well as any other lineman in the 2009 class. He leads the ball carrier downfield and locks on to would-be tacklers. Gets off the ball quickly when pulling and can turn upfield through small cracks. Lowers his hips when trapping while keeping his feet moving on contact.
What's going to help BYU in their quest for a BCS berth is that they're going to be ranked in the preseason. They should go 4-0 OOC. UW will be a good test, but the Cougars will prevail in a close game. I see Utah being the stiffest test for the Cougars. Any chance BYU and Fresno State will play each other in the next 10 years?
I like (am obsessed with) the big US sports of football, basketball and baseball. And I love how they expand globally. I am fascinated by World Cup soccer, Olympics and certain tennis matches.
Oh, yeah, and I will talk your ear off when it comes to religion, politics, right, wrong, demography, history and truth.
Blog on and blog it.
Uh, also I have a Foxsports blog called papaclinch'si t and that was the original, and this was created as a mistake and then a parallel world for more spiritual topics on occasion. More BYU here, more IU over there...
Make sense? I love both schools with an odd type of crazed loyalty... Hard to explain. Thus the blogging.
Keeps me out of trouble, maybe?
