So close. So close. You could see the anguish in their eyes. But they fell..short. I am very saddened that the Tigers didn't win the World Series, and you can see why. They haven't won since '84, and they have been a terrible team record wise for the past decade and a half. I thought after that Magglio Shot that left the building, it was the Tigers who was going to win it...Mets or Cardinals.
We get the team that we swept in June, even thought they were all close..they won em. But, in October it's a different atmosphere, more pressure on the line..and they out-played us. We made the costly errors, 5 pitching errors in the series tells you enough. It always seemed they brought in the man with two outs, while we stranded them.
It just wasn't our time, you may say we were the best team in MLB... but it doesn't matter how good you are in the Regular season, take the Cardinals for instance, they were terrible in the Regular Season, but they got it done when it counted.
I tip my cap for the Cardinals, they were prepared, and they won. It doesn't seem right, but it's called reality, so I have to believe it. Again Congrats Cardinals.
Oh let's see here... I was an all around athlete in my younger days. I have been to many Tigers and Lions games, will try to make to at least 1 Red Wing game in my lifetime. I like smelling my own farts for enjoyment and like listening to R&B and rap. I think Rasheed is retarted and McGrady is the best in the league when he's healty. I think the Tigers will make the World Series this year and every year in the future. One more thing... testicles... that is all.
