When I go read and listen anywhere, I hear all this #### about how great Kobe is and no one near him and all this stuff. They say he is better than LBJ completely and how he has better teammates in a crappy conference that is why they are in the Finals. If many forgot Kobe had an awesome team in a conference that was not as strong as it was now in those years. I thought of having some fun comparing stats for each of their first 4 years in their career to determine the rankings for each one of them. I'll be using nba.com as my source of stats. People may complain oh Kobe came off the bench his first years. He did but played 60% a game by average in his 2nd year. It would have been more but his minutes dropped again because he hit the "wall". His 3rd year he did have a lockout for 50 games. Yes I'm doing all of it. But what I will be doing is just averages a game during their first 4 years to show how they played. The reason why I chose the 4 years is because this is when they both made it to the finals. I'll also take off PPG so that no one will complain that Kobe did not have enough min.

Looking at these:

Lebron is better at 2 point shooting, grabbing defensive and total rebounds, assisting, and stealing the ball.

Kobe is better at Free throw shooting and handling the ball better.

They have the same when comparing 3 point shooting, offensive rebounding and blocking shots.

I will let the public opinion look at this to see who is a better player.
