Before I write anything, I want to congratulate both teams for making it to the Super Bowl. The way they played in the playoffs they deserved it.
I'll talk about the games and what I thought about them.
3:00 on CBS. New England Patriots (18-0) vs. the San Diego Chargers (13-6)
Before the game started, I admit I was concerned about the defense of the Pats. Sure they stopped the running duo of the Jaguars, Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew, last game. They however allowed David Garrard to pass on them. I was wondering if they could stop the Chargers if Phillip Rivers could play. Sure LT was down, but the Chargers have plenty of fire power with RBs. I didn't worry about the offense because I didn't think Brady will perform as bad as Peyton did.
I also thought how the Chargers would fare with injuries and if the arrogance they showed during the week would make them play bad.
When the game finished, it was the opposite. I felt Brady threw bad passes especially during the INTs he had. Moss was covered completely again no surprise but he did shock me by actually getting those 14 yards he had during the reversal. For a second I thought he was screwed. Maroney and Faulk were the men. Faulk with catching gaining plenty of YACs including diving catches. Looks like he was a damn receiver out there. I hope after this game the myth that the Patriots do not have a running game is completely destroyed. Maroney was getting big gains even when the passing game was not as good as usual. Also credit Belicheck for keeping the running game unlike Dungy did with Addai last week. The defense did give up yardage at times they made sure the Chargers couldn't score TDs. Three time in the end zone inside the 10 they had to settle for FGs instead of TDs. That made the difference between the Pats winning and losing. This shouldn't come as a surprise with the Colts being stopped like this in Week 10. The Pats may be old in defense so people may gain yards but they are tough to score against in the red zone.
For the Chargers, LT was down but like I said they have depth at RB but got still stuffed alot during running plays. Don't blame them for having trouble since anyone look at the running game of the Jags vs. the Pats. Rivers did look good even with the braces. He was mobile avoiding pass rushes even though he shouldn't have tried that long bomb with was caught as an INT. The other one he got to impatient throwing the ball in the middle of a sack. I was impressed with most of what I saw. They did a good job in the passing just couldn't nail it in. Nate Kaeding did not do too bad considering he never missed a field goal unlike every other post season games.
The defense on SD impressed me on passing. The Pats shred them with running and they could do anything to stop them.
Norv Turner did a decent job but got too timeout happy if you asked me. The first two timeouts didn't make sense if you asked me and could have helped the Chargers win in the end. But that is usually hard to find out until after the game.
The game in generally was really good. Other parts of the teams stepped it up when other parts were doing well so it turned out to be a good game. What also made it good was the fact the refs let the teams duke it out this game. There was a total of 3 penalties for 24 yards.
6:30 New York Giants (13-6) vs. Green Bay Packers (14-4). I admit I though Green Bay would win this with little trouble but I was proved wrong. Giants won but it wasn't pretty.
As StreetCred would say, this would probably be the Bay of the Pigs game of the week. Both teams struggled especially holding onto the football. Green Bay did it with INTs while the Giants did it with fumbles. Lawrence Tynes missing FGs. Farve reverted to the gunslinger. The game was ugly.
Let me start with the Packers. The defense and special teams did what they had to do given the circumstances. Offense was a different story.
Time of Possession Giants: 40:01 Packers 22:34
I admit that the D should have done better at stopping them but the offense had trouble moving the chains. Mike McCarthy gave up on Grant too soon leaning on Favre.
Favre making that boneheaded INT in overtime sealed their loss. He should know better being in the league as long as he has to not to do a boneheaded throw. That made them lose. After looking at that play again, I admit I was too harsh. The wind did slow the ball down to help Sam Madison to intercept the ball.
Sure the game could have been better for Favre but he did well at times hitting long strikes especially that 90 yarder to Driver. Since it was a close game all night long though, McCarthy should have stayed having balance.
The Giants defense wasn't that great. They didn't put enough pressure to me with what was their specialty. They had zero sacks. I admit the the Pack O-line is good but they should have done better.
Offensively, the running game could have been better but they did well to punch the ball into the end zone. Eli was mediocre. Sure he threw no INTs but was sacked a couple of times.
I know plenty of people wanted to shoot Lawrence Tynes after that missed FG at the end of regulation. He got lucky if Favre didn't throw that INT he would have never had the chance to redeem himself.
Now the Super Bowl. It is ironic what happened today. Except for Giants fans, who would have believed that this would be the Super Bowl matchup. Who would have believed that the final game of the regular season would also be the final game of the post season.
If this matchup was great during the regular season, how about the Super Bowl? Brady vs. Eli. Younger brother making SB after older brother with chance to win it as well. Who would have thought that the words of Peyton Manning, "It's Eli's turn now", after he won his Super Bowl would be a premonition of this Super Bowl. A chance of a undefeated season and best team of all time. This Super bowl will be a great one for both TV producers and fans.
I believe that the Pats will prevail but it would be excellent close game as last time. This would probably be the Super Bowl I would talk the most about with my future children and grandchildren of the ones I saw in my lifetime.
I want to thank both teams for letting me watch one the greatest seasons I have seen in my lifetime even with what happened to the Falcons. I want to say that I knew Tom Brady that you would be the greatest QB of your generation and possibly the greatest QB of all time at the rate you are going. I want say I'm sorry to Eli. Sure you didn't want to go to the Chargers but it was mostly your Dad doing the work. I guess the reason I was harsh was because how I felt about John Elway. You had to worry about your brother in AFC and that may have put too much pressure on you all the time. I admit I have the same issue with older brothers. Being out of the conference would put less pressure on you. You didn't want to be reminded of your brother all the time. I understand unlike Elway who thought he was so good at anything saying to the Colts don't draft me or I will go to baseball. That shows me his obnoxiousness saying I am great at everything. Sorry shouldn't be talking about Elway since it isn't about him this blog. Randy Moss, I knew that if you tried that you could prove how great you are. Michael Strahan, smart move not retiring because you've got another chance at getting a ring. This will be a great Super Bowl. Thank you both teams.
Before even reading the article I'm going to talk about, I knew from the beginning that this guy's sentence was going to be 2 months.
The final defendant of the Michael Vick case, Tony Taylor, was given 2 months for his involvement with Bad Newz Kennels. Heck, the government only wanted to give him 0 to 6 months. The judge only gave him that be of the gruesome details of the case. He actually got the low end of the feds wanted while the other 3 got screwed with much heavier sentences. Of course the InHumane Society and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals but not Humans didn't mind because he snitched. This is the guy that found that 15-acre tract for Vick to buy and also helped train dogs killing some and only gets 2 months? What kind of #### deal did he make? There definitely is a lot more about the conversation between the Feds and Taylor we don't know about. If this "judge" wanted to be taken seriously he would have given him at least a year. Heck, he didn't give the max what the feds wanted. I guess this country encourages snitching and backstabbing as good traits. You will get killed in other countries for this ####. Funny how Taylor was best friends with Vick from high school. I bet you he just used Vick for his popularity.
Before I end this I'll say one thing. I know most likely you wouldn't read this from a cell but I got advice for you, Vick. I didn't care you did the dogfighting but one thing you need to learn. Never trust your friends. They, especially the one who you think you know for a long time, will backstab you so fast it wouldn't be funny. I just wanted you to let you know that advice.

Well according to this article of Jay Glazer, Bobby Petrino resigned as the coach of the Atlanta Falcons going to take the job of the Arkansas Razorbacks college football team. He basically says a few words to the coaching staff before bolting. The players were pissed, rightfully, because he left without saying a word to them. But that isn't a surprise because how much of a #### he was to the players.
He also made questionable moves like cutting Grady Jackson. Don't put #### on Vick for making the team messed up as it is. Petrino as a way to show he was boss got the players angry especially DeAngelo Hall and Alge Crumpler. So now the coward left after the going got tough. God he is worse than Nick Saban. At least Saban stayed two years in the NFL. He couldn't finish one year. But enough of that. Who are the best candidates for the coaching job since he has left. Anyone could come and answer.
Hello everyone long time no see. Been a long time since I created a new post. Been busy a lot for a while. I, however, decided to take time out in order to write this.
As everyone knows, Redskin Safety Sean Taylor died this morning at Jackson Memorial hospital in Miami. I can get into all the details about what happened but it would be useless since everyone knows what happened. I decided that I'll do a tribute of sorts. Even though I have lived in Virginia my whole, except if I was overseas, for some reason I never was a Redskin fan. I don't why but I guess it has to do with the first team I saw play in my life, the Atlanta Falcons. I never hated them, just didn't like them.
I remember the draft day in 2004 when Sean Taylor was picked fifth overall, I wasn't sure what to think of him. I remember one game against the Cowboys that year while the running back, I believe Julius Jones, was running and he came in front of him and he nailed him hard. All Redskin fans were going nuts was I was thinking ok he just hits hard that's it. The next couple of years showed me that I thought he was overrated at the time. Sure he hits hard like he is trying to kill somebody but he could cover. Last year I remember teams throwing the ball in his area while receivers were burning him. It made me think he didn't know how to play free safety. This year however I was impressed. He became a free safety and was covering well. Heck he was at one point the leader of interceptions. I was thinking you know what I was wrong. This guy could be good. I was researching one day before the game they play Dallas I was surprised to know that ever since he's come to the league every time Terrell Owens goes to play the Redskins since Taylor has been there, he has never had 100 yards in a game. I was surprised because everyone knows T.O. is good. After watching the Redskins lose 28-23 with TO having 4 TDs. Even though I never said it to Redskin fans to annoy them (hehe), I was wondering if Sean was playing how different would have been the outcome. I wanted to wait until they play Dallas again to see. The sad part we will never know that outcome. We will also never know how his career would have shaped up to be. All because someone had to kill him. I try to avoid emotions especially when I am in the outside world. But when I heard what happened yesterday and today I was sad. As a sports fan, I cannot see the player of what he could have become. As a human being, a person's life was taken away and it is sad. I especially feel sad for his daughter because I know how it is to lose a parent (Not in the same fashion) and never seeing them again. It is a horrible feeling especially when you are young while you think about it all the time.
I never really let people know much about me but I thought it would be appropriate to bring this up. I lost my mother due to stroke when I was 10. She was feeling ill was in the hospital for a few months. Just like Sean it seemed she would survive and be well but one day she passed away. It turned my life upside down. If it wasn't for certain events, I probably would turned out to be one messed up person. Up to this day, I think of her everyday. When that happens, I feel tears in my eyes. I try to hold on knowing that she wouldn't want me to give up on everything because of her. I hope no one gives up because he wouldn't want. If everyone wants to keep all of the memories of him alive, we have to never give up on life and do our best in everything. This especially goes to his family. That way Sean can truly rest in peace.
Thank you Sean for your career on the field. All NFL fans will miss you dearly. Redskin fans will always consider you one of them. Good luck in the after life.
My comp seems to be going hay wire so half of the post are hyperlinks for some reason.
Hi it's me again. Bonds has finally gotten the Home run record to himself. He surpassed it yesterday. He hit it to center field of a full count off Mike Bacsik, a Washington national pitcher. He has 756 and is the sole owner of the Home run record. It was great he put his hands up in the air after he hit the ball. It's like he knew it was good. There was a great celebration for 10 minutes. While he was celebrating with the team and family, a surprise guest showed up on screen. Hank Aaron himself sent a video message congratulating Bonds for his accomplishment. I guess that makes the Bonds haters shut up. I remember them bragging him not being there makes it look like Bonds didn't do it the right way. Bud Selig wasn't there not surprise he is an ####. Selig doesn't need to be there.
Legends in all American sports congratulated him for his accomplishments. Shows how much support he has.
The reason I wrote this late is to take a while to absorb what he did. He has already shown himself to be a legend with speed(500 stolen bases), fielding (9 Golden Gloves), and now he has done power(756). It solidifies him to be one of the most complete player in the history of MLB. Having him on my favorite team was true happiness to me. Thank you Bonds.
However though there is something I want to make clear. Socrates in my last post said that I didn't care if he cheated or not. I have always believed he hasn't use steroids. Any blog relating to Bonds I have kept on saying he hasn't. I don't believe he has and I never will. If it is proven he has, I will probably be a little sad since that mean he cheated. If it is never proven then I will love him as the great player.
Most of the information is referenced from foxsports.com. There may be a few changes due to my own desires.
As the Bonds HR tracker I have to do this. Wait a minute. Why am I saying I have to? I want to. It's my duty as a San Fransisco Giant fan.
It finally happened. Bonds hit 755.
It took him eight days and 28 plate appearances since he hit his last one. Hoping to break out of his slump, he came out for early batting practice. That did work. He nailed it in the second inning off San Diego Padre Pitcher Clay Hensley, a former Giants draft pick who was suspended in 2005 for violating baseball's minor league steroids policy. Maybe people should have booed at him instead lol.
No. 755 was a
strong shot for all the doubters, an opposite-field drive of 382 feet
to left-center, moving Bonds within one swing of having the HR record to himself like he is supposed to. It came on a 2-1, 91 mph fastball
Saturday night. The ball clunked off an advertising sign on the facade and fell
into the navy blue bleachers below, right under the main scoreboard
featuring a giant photo of the smiling slugger. It looked like Bonds was saying Barry here is a present for you.
A smart aleck fan sitting in
that area threw back a ball onto the field, but that was not the
historic one. Thank God or I would personally have kicked his #### if I was there. Instead, the prized ball wound up in the hands of
33-year-old Adam Hughes of La Jolla, and he was whisked to a secure
area so the specially marked ball could be authenticated. I hope that dude was safe because I know everyone would want that ball.
It didn't come as a surprise since the HR happened on the road there would be possibly a mixed reaction from the crowd at Petco Park.
Several fans did hold up asterisk signs and the San Francisco slugger was
booed as he headed to left field at the end of the inning. Note I said several like a few. Most of the crowd rose up as one and applauded and cheered for the event. I guess everyone was wrong that he won't get any respect on the road. That's Bonds for you. He isn't as hated as anyone would believe.
What did Bonds do after hitting? Bonds walked a hal####ozen steps after connecting, clapped his hands and rounded the bases with no hint of a smile. No surprise since he knew it would happen also it's a tie with the HR record not passing it so it's not like he is the only person to have 755. Let him hit 756 and I'm pretty sure he would be smiling. After Bonds crossed the home plate, he lifted his son, Nikolai, and carried him several steps in an embrace. Then he got a hug from teammate Ryan Klesko, and then he slowly walked through a greeting line of other Giants. Moments later, he walked over to the field-level seats and kissed 8-year-old daughter Aisha and wife, Liz, through the screen. Bonds then lifted his cap before going to the far end of the dugout and hugging Sue Burns, the wife of late Giants ownership partner Harmon Burns. Teammates cheering, got family time and ownership was there for him. What else could be better? I forgot the fans cheering on the road.
Aaron was not in attendance, not surprisingly. He did say he would not follow the chase in person. It would have been cool if he had been there to congratulate Bonds but not everything can be perfect. Bonds did say some great things about him. "We
as baseball players, especially as African-American ballplayers, have
so much respect for Hank Aaron and all our fellow African-American
athletes as well. They have paved the road for what we're doing now,"
Bonds said.
We know Bud Selig didn't like it. In a private box high above the field, when he
watched Bonds tie Hank Aaron's home run record, his jaw dropped to the ground (Not literally), hands
stuffed in pockets and no smile on his lips. I wish I had a picture of that so I could keep it.
Bonds was walked his
next three times up and left the game in the eighth for a pinch-runner.
He raised his helmet with his left hand, then his right, and drew a
standing ovation from many fans who chanted his name.
As to show that he isn't as bad as anyone thought. "I want to thank the fans. They have been outstanding," Bonds
said. "It's been a fun ride. I really appreciate the way San Diego
handled it and the way their fans handled it."
Bonds said he would not start Sunday, which would give him a chance to break the record at home beginning Monday night. Sorry but hometown deserves it. I know other towns want to see it in person. I'm in VA and I want to see it but I got to respect his wishes.
I can't be mean and ignore another milestone.
Earlier in the day, Alex Rodriguez hit his 500th home run off Kansas City Royal Kyle Davies. Selig spoke with him afterwards. Funny he spoke with A-Rod and hasn't spoken to Bonds in years. What is he afraid of, getting knocked out? Bonds isn't that much of an ####.
The reason I bring up A-Rod as well is because Bonds has been closely monitoring A-Rod's quest in the past week. Funny that A-Rod hit it at his first at bat at home like Bonds.
Both Bonds and Rodriguez gave their batting helmets to the Hall of Fame. Also Bonds has said he will give his helmet after he hits 756. He will also give the uniform but later because he wants to look at it a little while before letting go to absorb everything.
It's nice to see two great playing hit milestones in the same day.
A quote to leave everyone with.
Seattle Mariners hitting instructor Jeff Pentland, who coached Bonds at Arizona State, said, "I
think he is probably the best hitter since Babe Ruth, but that's my
opinion. I think the things he's done, the records he's broken. He's
stood out amongst the players of today and been way above them, head
and shoulders above them for his career," he said.
I think he's better then the Babe but he is way better then the players of today.
All I can say 754. Bonds hit home run 754 tonight in the first inning. Bonds sent a pitch from Florida Marlin pitcher Rick Vanden Hurk over the wall in
left-center for his 20th homer of the season.
The 43-year-old Bonds, whose drive was estimated at 420 feet, connected
off his 444th pitcher. This is his first of a person from the Netherlands. I didn't even know but it seems that he has
homered off pitchers from 17 different countries, including the United
States. God other countries are feeling the pain when the pitcher gets his ball nailed by Bonds out of there.
Oh by the way, the Giants won 12-10 with Bonds scoring another run and getting a RBI. So to all those haters out there, he does help the team win. He just doesn't sit there just accumulating HRs.
The time is coming closer by the second. Hitting one more will make him mentioned in the same breath as Hank. 756 though will make him better. Bonds thank you for playing the game. Even though you can be a little of an #### at times. I don't blame ya with the way the piece of #### media is. Keep on knocking them Barry. It is time for people to move on from Hank and also the Babe.
People think I'm crazy for saying this but hey I've got Michael Jordan, one of the greatest of the NBA, on my side. A “Road to History” tribute played on the main center-field scoreboard with the greeting from Jordan. “Hey Barry, it’s Michael Jordan,” his message said. “I just want to
congratulate you on your historic event. I’m very happy for you. Ever
since the first day I saw you in the batting cage, you’ve been working
toward this for a long period of time. So I want to wish you and
Elizabeth and that beautiful girl of yours congratulations. I’m very
happy for you.” I know Bonds liked it. "It was great seeing the board, and having Michael Jordan say what he said was phenomenal," Bonds said. You even got people pounding the outfield fence in celebration just by him going to take his position in left field.
These are all people who see Bonds for his greatness. So thank you to the fans as well.
This afternoon was insane. I was at working looking at Gametrax not believing what I was reading. He hit 3-3, 2 HRS, 3 Rs, and 6 RBIs. Sucks they lost but you have to give credit for keeping it close.
He showed some power as well with his 1st homer when he cleared the right-side bleachers and the whole park. Dave Davison, a 39-year-old regular at Wrigley, retrieved the ball in the middle of the street after it bounced off
someone else's arm. What makes it interesting is thatit wasn't the first souvenir for Davison, who has retrieved more
than 4,200 keepsake balls including one other from Bonds. It seems he might be a sell it this time, but had already turned down an offer for
$5,000. "I'd have to seriously consider anything over $25,000," Davison said. "I'll be happy to keep it." See how people acknowledge his greatness?
He has a chance to tie Babe Ruth for multi-homer games with 1 more game. He also has a chance to match Hammerin' Hank's record with 2 more HRs, but also to tie Carlton Fisk's 72 homers
after turning 40.
I know he was happy for breaking out of that 21 hitless streak and Ted Lilly and Will Ohman were pissed off. Let's hope he can break it soon for the sake of one of the greatest moments of MLB history.
Instead of going into what everyone is talking about, I'll go with another subject. Yup I'm going to the future Hall of Famer, 3 time Super Bowl Champion, Joe Montana Jr., the player, the ladies' man, New England Patriot QB Tom Brady. If you don't know, at a restaurant yesterday, it seems that he and Gisele, got into an argument there. Reason? He had learned that Bridget Monynahan was going to have his kid tomorrow. Why is that a problem? It will be Gisele's birthday, oh ####. She is mad that why he would be there at the hospital instead of with her.
Excuse me? It's his damn baby for god sakes. He's the dad. What are you 5? We know you are 26 so it won't kill you if he isn't there for your birthday. He has his duty as a father to be there to see his child. People will ask why doesn't he bring her to the hospital so they can do both. Umm, let's see Ex-girlfriend and new girlfriend is same vicinity, not a pretty combination.
My thoughts? He should go to the hospital for the birth of his child and Gisele should not stop him. What is everyone else's thoughts.
I'm at work right now so I'll edit this when I get home to fix any sloppiness and mistakes just wanted to put this up for what they thought about.
Bonds did it again! He hit 751 today against Cincinnati Reds' pitcher Aaron Harang. What makes this great was the matchup between two great Home run hitters, Barry Bonds vs. Ken Griffey Jr. Reminds you of July 17, 1973 with Willie Mays and Hank Aaron, doesn't it? Sucks Ken didn't get one due to a fly out and 3 walks. It's happening whether anyone loves it or not. 4 more to go.
Still with even all that, these two are still great players. I wish them the best of their careers.
I'm back and with some more news that will be insane, retarded, or some may say normal. Some may shock some won't. Let the sports news begin. But before that I would like to give NFL.com , movies.yahoo.com, nba.com and msn.com for the photos and news that I am going to be using.
First up, the end is for Tank Johnson. The Bears cut his sorry #### after his latest run in with the law for driving 40 mph in a 25 mph zone at 3:30 a.m. in Arizona. Tank's side of the story is he met old high school friends, got wasted, broke into someone's home and tried to get the hell out of there. Bears GM Jerry Angelo said the team is pissed off of how a #### this guy is to not get to stay out of #### trouble. Jerry's own words, "What is he a ########? We told his #### not to be in trouble but NOOO he had to go and be a ####. He got off easily from Goodell compared to Pacman." Now Tank, go ahead and go with Frank the Tank because you'll need a lot of alcohol to ease your sorrow.
Good news for Bears fans, defensive back Nathan Vasher signed a 5 year extension to 2012. "It awesome. This kicks ####," Vasher said. "I'm getting better dough and all the other losers ####ing about their contract are just losers. They can't get what they want. I can chill now." It's nice how they care for him. How about Lance Briggs, Bears?
Seems someone is dedicated to show who's the man and how he doesn't want anyone else to screw up. Roger Goodell briefed all 255 members of this year's draft class Monday on the NFL's stricter conduct rules. "We're concerned about them of not being dumb ####," Goodell said at the league's rookie symposium, "How do they become not only great NFL players, but how do they use their #### brains? How do they act for the remainder of their life, not just when they're in my league?" He spent 20 minutes speaking 4th grade English and showing pictures to them so they understand. It seems though that he will have his trigger ready because he has doubts that they get it. How many suspensions are coming to the veterans, heck the rookie class? "That depends on if they listen my rules," says Goodell.
In MLB, Mets catcher Paul Lo Duca was suspended for two games and fined $2,000 on Monday following acting like a baby throwing a tantrum at umpire Marvin Hudson. Lo Duca appealed the penalty and cannot be "given a good spanking" until after a hearing is held. "I WANT IT DOWN TO ONE GAME," he whined. When he calmed down he said he wasn't exactly sure how the appeal process worked. It seems that this was the first suspension of his career. "Obviously, I looked like a ####," he said. "I called that #### of an ex-wife. Maybe I should kill myself if my daughter was watching." Lo Duca was ejected in the sixth inning of the Mets 1-0 victory over Oakland on Saturday night after a called strike made the count against him 0-2. His eyes tearing up, Lo Duca was restrained by Mets manager Willie Randolph to prevent Lo Duca from kicking the umpire's fat ####. When Lo Duca walked to the dugout, he threw his helmet, bat and elbow guard toward first base. Once he reached the bench, Lo Duca tossed his shin guards into foul territory and his chest protector, which got hung up on the dugout railing. Then he went on the floor kicking and screaming. Sheesh, be a grown man and not a baby.
In NBA, Bulls GM John Paxson has said no way Jose to Kobe being here. His exact words? "No way in hell are we going to take a ball hog and greedy #### and lose great players for him. I'd rather die then let him get here. Unless the owner is a #### then he would agree." Whoops Kobe. Your lifelong dream has just gone down the toilet. Chicago is saved.
Detroit Pistons guard Chauncey Billups has opted out of his contract to become a free agent. What can I say? Just a gold digger who wants more money. He thought that following Arenas was the new style. Well I hate to break it to you buddy but people won't pay ya since you screwed up big time in the playoffs.
Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Troy Hudson wants to dip from Minny especially if teammate Kevin Garnett leaves. He complains that Randy Whittman the new coach sucks balls and they don't let him play. His agent has said stop taking so damn long and get him out of here. I have a question? What has he done that makes him so great?
In NHL, the end of the world is near. For the first time in NHL draft history, Americans were chosen for the first and second picks in the draft. First, the Chicago Blackhawks, selected Buffalo, N.Y., native Patrick Kane with the No. 1 pick Friday night. Then the Philadelphia Flyers picked left wing James vanRiemsdyk, a member of the U.S. National Team Development Program from Middletown, N.J. That's not all. Nigerian forward Akim Aliu was selected 56th overall by Chicago as well. Great, Americans can't play squat in hockey and they also expect a Nigerian of hot weather to play hockey. If people thought hockey was already watered down then they are for a huge surprise.
Well that's it for this week. Let the jokes fly and the fun stay.
I wanted to be first to post this. Good job Bonds for No. 749.
Tonight's game against the Yankees, Bonds smacked one into center field off Scott Proctor's pitch during a losing effort of 7-3. I know, I know all the haters will nag "Steroids" or "####". Who gives a ####? He has not proven to have taken it. As long as I'm concerned he's innocent. Ok he's a #### but you got to give him his dues for his skills. So I'll keep on rooting for you man. Six more to tie Aaron now. How is that, Mr. Hall of Famer? People can either ignore or watch history in the making.
Me, I chose to watch.
I'm rooting for ya all the way Bonds, the future Home Run King.
Hey I'm back with another edition. Seems people got a kick out of the first one so I'll make another one. I'll first speak about events that have been talked about before I do new ones.
I realized that I made a few errors while making this post so I just fixed them to make better sense.
As many know Pacman has done it again. Trouble happened at a strip club again this time in Atlanta. It doesn't seem he was involved in the shooting and the cops just want to ask some question. But c'mon what part of don't go to strip clubs you don't understand. If you want stripping order some porn.
Doesn't this seem like normal routine to you guys? Quincy Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad got arrested for disorderly conduct. Seems his pals were having a wedding party near a bar till 3 am. Seems 30 minutes earlier gunshots were heard a block from their location. Even though the cops told them to disperse just to make sure they become safe, the people said "#### you" and they got canned. 10 players in 14 months. What the #### is going on with this organization? They can't do anything normally. My advice to Marvin Lewis, tell the players to stop #### around or you'll #### kill them.
Kobe seems to be ####ing again. A website known as www.thekobevideo.com got footage of Kobe snapping saying #### about Bynum his teammate saying they should have shipped his ######## to get Kidd and how he can't stand being here anymore. When someone asked if he would be here next year he said go buy a Bulls jersey. First, no one gives a #### about your spoiled whiny ####. Second, stop ####ing, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett have had it worse than you. Third, who makes you #### think you would go to the Bulls? First, they won't give anything just to let you tarnish Jordan's city.
Seems Nike said screw you to the national Humane Society to dump Vick from their advertisements. Reason as Dean Stoyer spokesman for Nike said, "It's none of your damn business and since he is not proven guilty yet so why don't you back the #### off?" I side with Nike on this. I mean you are already saying Vick is guilty and have the balls to go to another company with this? Yeah, Yeah, yeah I know dog fighting is a felony but no charges have been filed yet. Take care of your lame #### investigation before bothering Nike. It's nice to have balls isn't it Nike?
A few days ago, the Oakland Raiders canceled their last week of minicamp due to the NFL players union's complaint saying that the workouts are too intense. What the hell are you talking about? This team was 2-14 last year they need to work their #### off. Let me guess one of the player ####ed and moaned to you guys. Makes sense. The players are a bunch of babies. That's why this team will always suck.
Former Pro Bowler LaVar Arrington got hospitalized for a motorcycle accident yesterday. He did not have a proper license it seems. But that's not too bad. At least he was wearing a helmet unlike a certain Pittsburgh Steeler QB so he has a brain. Did you hear that through your messed up head, Fat Ben?
Seems everyone want to imitate the Bengals. Cleveland Browns rookie receiver Mike Mason was arrested and charged with aggravated disorderly conduct, obstructing official business and resisting arrest . This was just for refusing to leave a nightclub after closing time. C'mon not drinking one drink in a bar won't kill you get out of there.
Seems the press wins again. Former NBA star Latrell Sprewell lost a Libel suit against the New York Post for allegedly falsely printing information on how he broken his right little finger in 2002. Good job press. Now if you can just write stories that everyone gives a damn about now?
Stephen Jackson does it again. The Golden State Warrior player pleads guilty for firing a gun outside a strip club. Didn't he do this in Indianapolis and still doesn't get it? You ####, this is why the Pacers got rid of your sorry ####. Maybe you and Pacman should be buddies. You guys do the same #### over and over again.
Former NBA All Star Vin Baker got arrested for drunk driving outside a casino. His reason: "Man, I am #### pissed off. I lost a bunch of cash in that casino. I mean c'mon they tried to rip me off. So I grabbed my best friend here and we went." Uh, didn't the Celtics cut you for this? I guess some people dont' get to not do the same thing again.
Utah will likely keep AK-47 or Always Crying to Play 47 minutes. What Jerry Sloan had to say about Andrei Kirlenko, "Even though he whined about about playing time and cried like a little girl during the playoffs, we don't plan to get rid of him. He can #### and moan and point fingers but if I don't see him play hard, I can't say he is. I'm not a #### psychic that can go through his mind." Go cry a river you stunk last year.
Red Sox pitcher Curt Shilling was sent back to Boston to get an MRI exam on his right shoulder. What happened? It seems he broke it while masturbating while climaxing. My advice no more porn for you.
Chicago Cubs first baseman Derrek Lee and San Diego pitcher Chris Young were suspended for five games each Monday following a bench-clearing brawl Saturday. The incident occurred when Lee was hit by a pitch from Young, had walked to first, spoke with the
pitcher, then threw a punch. Young swung back and the benches emptied. Seems Young said how his Mom and sister were #### and how he would knock them up. At least he did not use his head like Zinedine Zidane.
Reports say that New York Yankee Jason Giambi has until Thursday to agree meet with George Mitchell. It seems Giambi is willing to discuss his own personal use and his grand jury
testimony, but not any other players. If he gets assurance he won't
have to name names, a deal will likely be reached. At least we may have an idea what is going on? How long has that been?
Texas Rangers general manager Jon Daniels was given a one-year contract extension
Tuesday despite a 26-43 start that left Texas with the worst record in
the major leagues. What the hell? They suck. How can they give him an extension? Marty Schotteheimer got canned for leading a team to the playoffs and they are playing like #### Get rid of the losers first.
Anyway that's edition 2. I hope everyone got a kick out of it. Take and I'm off.
I'm going to report Sport news for this post about real recent events but in a comical view. WARNING: MAY OFFEND PEOPLE. I may do this every once in a while but today I'll do about yesterday and today events.
This actually happen at Wednesday afternoon. It was reported that former NBA player Bryon Houston was arrested beating off in his car at an intersection in Oklahoma City. When asked why, he said "the girl who called the cops looked so fine. I haven't had sex in a while so I needed a release after seeing that fine ####." Um yeah, there is something called porn you can get and take it home, loser.
It was reported a couple hours ago on msnbc that the Washington Redskins LaRon Landry will miss today's minicamp due to an odd injury that happened on Wednesday. It seems after coach Joe Gibbs allowed the team to leave early from voluntary spring workout, he and many defensive player went to play paint ball. Apparently, he has learn the term "nutcracker" after he was knocked out cold after being shot in the nuts during the game. Gibbs has said he should be fine after a couple of days. The problem with this is that paintballs only leave bruise, why the #### did he go out cold? What is he a little ####?
It's reported that Randy Moss can still run the 40 in 4.3 secs. We asked him why and he said, "I guess running from the cops since childhood has helped man." Man what the hell were you doing?
It's been reported that the NBA finals have hit a record low on TV with 9.3 million watching this year. Wondering why? Hmm, maybe it's because of the beatdown that was given. Let the boys play it out next time ok Stern?
The Spurs will appear in a special edition of Wheaties in 3 to 4 weeks. It seems the cereal will let you have ability to like the Spurs. High possibility people will avoid but hell yeah I'm taking it.
Tony Parker won Finals MVP for performance. Now people can't complain that the French are cowards and sissies especially how TP got the rebound juked every Cav player on the court including Lebron and attacked the basket in Game 4. But we know that ain't his only prize, *wink, wink*
It was reported that the attorneys of "Pacman" Adam Jones told authorities to file or withdraw charges saying there is no evidence of him linking him to the strip club shooting and biting an employee's arm. I don't know about the shooting but the arm is believable. Probably thought the arm was probably Blinky, Pinky, Inky, or Clyde.
Seems Miami Dolphins quarterback or should I say former Daunte Culpepper injured his non-throwing hand in the car accident Wednesday night. Sheesh, I don't know if any team would want him especially after he did with his previous injury.
Looks like a federal judge rejected a plea deal of Troy Ellerman. He basically said #### you for saying screw you to the legal system. Reason: This was the #### who leaked the Grand jury testimony of the government's steroid investigation. I mean c'mon I know you don't like baseball especially Bonds but you didn't need to do this.
Well this is it for today. Watch out for the next issue. Peace out.
I am a 21 year old guy. The odd one of the family who loves sports even though I don't have the physical gifts compared to others. I'm such a sports geek that I do research on many sports histories from records, players, teams you name it. Favorite teams are Detroit Pistons(NBA), Atlanta Falcons (NFL), Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL), San Francisco Giants (MLB) and Italy (Soccer). Just because these are my teams does not mean I hate others. My favorite player of all time in sports is NBA Hall of Famer Jerry Lucas. I love sports statistics and love to predict many games by analyzing them being neutral at all costs.
