Michael Vick, it's 4th & oh so long...
Aug 13, 2007 | 7:58PM | report this

Well, well, well.  Michael Vick’s other co-defendants are finally rolling over.  What, it took less then a month?  Yes, I received your “you are an ####” & “you suck #### because you are a Fed and are racially profiling” emails and just ignored you all.  Some wrote to “get off his #### and let the justice system decide;”and some wrote “what’s more important an animal life or a human and have we stooped that low?”

It’s has been about a month give or take a few sleepless nights for Michael Vick and now, the other two co-defendants have decided to enter plea agreements.  Yet, we are still wrong for treating Vick with distain and disgust because of what we think of him now and his actions.  I was called everything but a man because I am a US Marshal and mentioned from the start that I thought his “buddies” would plea out.  Jai_Eazy came on board after I mentioned the process and how his life was altered once he was indicted.  Jai’s had his charges dropped after having his job taken from him and his whole life changed beyond repair.

Jai, unlike Michael disassociated himself from the other defendants from the start.  Michael went across state lines, violated multiple federal, state and local laws and disregarded any heed to stop; even though he knew what he was doing was wrong.  He thought he was so sly, nothing could touch him because he had the endorsements and $130,000,000 to boot.  He was man enough to flip the Atlanta fans off with the middle finger.  Now, he seems to be more of a man than the other three co-defendants are.  On the other hand, is he more stupid or thinking we are just stupid?

Time can be the greatest ally or the most feared opponent.  He alone must face the burden of proving his innocence.  He has come out and had his lawyer prepare a statement (in his words) that proclaimed his innocence.  He insulted all his fans (that he had) and now is going to have to try to get a court of peers to find him innocent of the accusations.  The same court that understands his co-defendants have already pleaded out.

Oh how things have changed in the course of a few weeks.  His partners in crime are realizing that all the status symbol Michael Vick gave them, the “New Kennelz Posse” has fallen apart, this is not a game, a pit bet, and Michael cannot buy his way out of this.  He said he did not know what was going on at his house, if you can believe that.  Of course, we may not understand what is happening in our house either.

The NFL commissioner is still investigating what recourse he has and in his statement, the gist of it says, that if he lied to the commissioner that is a violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy.  Maybe Vick is the only one of the four accused, err three, err two, and err one that still wants to defend himself with a jury of his peers.  What a paradoxical name that is now for him.  A jury of “peers!”  Considering the peers that Michael Vick has associated himself with since 2001 and if I were he, I would hope to be able to get the first draft in the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary’s Fantasy Football Draft.  He had so much talent but was so short on common sense.

Vick's Co-conspirator turning over???
Jul 28, 2007 | 8:10AM | report this
Could there be the worse case scenario for Vick and his band of merry men?  It has not even been 96 hours since they entered a "not guilty" (yeah right) plea and one of the thugs wants to be the first in line to "roll over" and get the best deal.  What doom and gloom this could be for the Bad Newz Kennelz master?
Wow, like many of us said all along, this isn't the LAPD or the detectives tainting the OJ homeslaughter case.  It's the feds and they they take their jobs serious.  Sucks to be "Ron Mexico, STD transmitter, fan flipper offer" and Marcus Vick's role model brother, Michael.
This would kind of ruin the many Vick supporters saying , "Vick isn't doing anything wrong" alibi if they have first hand eyewitness account of someone with him when he was present.  And in the words of the famous man, Homer Simpson, "doh!!!"

Here you go Vick fans, the first brick in the Vick is innocent statue is falling to the ground is right here.

Dog Fighting and State Laws
Jul 25, 2007 | 6:41AM | report this

I came across an interesting site that had the state-by-state felony/misdemeanor listing and references for all the individuals needing more info about what is legal and illegal.  It is even a crime, a misdemeanor to be at that fight!  However, to transport an animal across state lines to participate in a fight is a felony.  There is also some paperwork that is filled out by breeders / kennels / license requesters / applicants in states with a tiny note at the bottom just below your signature line that disclaims:

"any transportation, movement, or redirection across any state boundary line for the sole purpose of solicitation of illegal activities; to include gambling, animal fighting or illegal transportation outside of state to which licensed or port departure for said licensed person is registered is a prosecutable offense.  Anyone knowingly or having knowledge of above stated information that does not report it is also in violation of a misdemeanor and/or felony under local, county, state and/or federal statues and guidelines.  Maximum penalties may include fines of up to include $350,000 or more and incarceration of 5-10 ten years for each adjudicated offense.  The signature of the person above claims responsibility for any or all actions, dealings, procedures and events that occur on said premise to which individual and location is licensed.”

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn’t there something about the person’s signature?  After all, it was a kennel in his name, correct?  What about that little eentsy-weentsy item about the transportation outside of the state?  You can defend him all you want, but let’s see what the peers in the court room that get to watch the pit bull fights, rape stands and cruelty have to say about a guy that has a house bigger then a city block and his history, yes history will come into play.  His arrogance of “flipping off” the fans will also be entered because of his “good moral character.”  I hope he is convicted and maxed out.

Michael Vick & HollidayStyle's Blog
Jul 20, 2007 | 5:15PM | report this

Since I try to be objective and see everyone's point of view, I have to not idea of what HollidayStyle's rationale is!!!  Write a blog and don't let people comment.  Therefore, with that, I will post a blog on how silly, irrational and gullible you must be.  You called everyone that beats up Michael Vick hypocrites.  Not everyone is that way since you put everyone in the same category.  Your words ended "freakin hypocrites.

Well, last time I checked, Paris Hilton did go to jail.  And should she be a repeat offender now, her probation will be revoked and returned to jail.  If anyone gets an alcohol & vehicle related arrest, they should be locked up forever as far as I am concerned.  As for Tom Brady, having children out of wedlock isn't a federal offense or crime.  Not paying child support is a crime, so as far as addressing morals, it doesn't pertain in this situation.

As for "Tank" Williams, you stated he was, "hit with an 8 game suspension when he violated his parole."  Wake up, he violated his parole and that is a punishable offense and when you are on parole it is mandatory you report and follow the guidelines given by your parole officer.  He signed the parole paperwork, so he knew the consequences.

"Pacman" was a repeat offender and had a blatant disregard for the law and got his just reward.  Save this post, because I will bet you he messes up again before he even gets to buy Christmas presents.  As far as we know, he isn't a sex offender, woman beater or child abuser, all of which are against the law.  As for his indictment, it is against the do what he is accused of.  There are also state and local laws that are also facing him.  Those sentences can run consecutive and not concurrent since there is a difference between state and federal guidelines.

You said, "So now dog fighting is a federal crime."  Read the indictment, it isn't just dog fighting.  As for him rarely being there, it has no bearing on the evidence.  It is his property and he is responsible for his domain.  As for Ray Carruth, where is he now?  Check the Federal Bureau of Prisons, so he was found guilty.  You mentioned the drunk drivers and only 15 days in jail.  That has to do with attorneys, plea bargains and the laws.  If you have a good attorney that can sway a jury, they can get off scot free, just ask OJ Simpson.  So I will throw out the DNA part you alluded to.

As for the evidence, it will all be disclosed prior to the defendant prior to the case.  The prosecution will then have to present the strongest case.  The jury of twelve peers will see all the evidence and vote guilty or not guilty based on that evidence and eyewitness accounts.  If any of the three defendants get leniency for "rolling over" and testify and corroborate that he knew about it, that is his worst-case scenario.  I wonder what the jurors will do and (if the prosecution could get a majority of females on that stand) say amongst themselves when the prosecution shows videos of dogfights in the courtroom.  Visual aids will always leave a lasting impression more than an inked version.  Most women can't watch "Old Yeller" without crying.  I wonder how bitter they will be when it shows how a rape stand is used.  I wonder what they will do when a beaten dog is yelping for it's life when its neck is being crushed by another.  I also wonder what they will do if someone testifies they actually killed the dogs via electrocution, shooting, drowning or dropping them after they have just been mauled by another dog?  And yet, you call us all hypocrites!  Michael can take consolation in that if he is convicted and sentenced in a federal prison at least once a year he may get to face a talented defensinve player in Pacman.  Somehow, we won't see that matchup on ESPN's "Who's Now/Who Cares."  Maybe they will be on HBO's "Roz."  Somewhere Michael Vick must be wishing Johnny Cochrane could defend him.    As for this blog, sorry Hollidaystyle I will let others post since I like animals.

Jul 19, 2007 | 9:04AM | report this

That's right, as if ALL of us animal lovers haven't been so "cruel and inhumane" to Michael Vick already, he is now facing more charges!  That's right, the State of Virginia is also looking into placing charges into animal destruction.  It looks like ALL of you Michael Vick lovers can say it is a "witch hunt" now because the state is wanting a piece of the pie.  Here is the link.
