I was just setting here on lunchbreak at the courthouse (doing the night dockets and amendments) and decided, "what the heck" let me count the Vick supporters that don't allow comments on their blogs. After about 25 minutes, I stopped counting. Here is a quick total (roughly) about this issue. Of the ones that either claim it is a race issue, BS, vendetta, illegal arrest or the white man keeping the black man down, there were 84 blogs that did not allow comments. The only thing I can figure is that:
1) they will be afraid to be called stupid, ignorant, dumb or mentally challenged;
2) gutless;
3) not able to back up their "words of witless babble";
4) or, have no clue and just don't get it.
Just a thought on them to remember, "Vick is soon to be a convicted felon (on Monday) and has plead "GUILTY." By his own entry he is saying, "I did it." Now, Virginia can prosecute him for up to 5 years for each dog he participated in killing. There were 8 documented slaying of animals and the IRS if also finalizing his tax declarations and perusing his forms for gambling entries. If he signed his statements for filing and did not declare any gambling wages and is convicted of it, he can be sentenced for one count each, per year and for tax evasion and false income declarations. Each also carried a minimum of 18-24 months per conviction.
SO for all his "homies" that are in as much of a denial as someone getting busted, I can only offer this; "Drop the convicted felon from your Fantasy Football League."
I've also noticed many blogs that don't allow comments. You're not the only one that has noticed this. They're just ankle biters that have no real basis for their arguments. I pay them no attention.
These charges that Vick has admitted to will be on his record for a LIFETIME. Federal felonies cannot be expunged from his record. Good insight into the IRS angle--with the dogfighting charges I hadn't thought of that. I can see Vick being in the federal hole for at least 3 years. Not to mention the charges that the Commonwealth of Virginia will bring forth.
Can we also kick out the soccer blogs while we're at it? Such a waste of cyberspace.

TB, it's what makes sports, especially REAL sports like FOOTBALL and NOT soccer, great! It's a travesty and INSULT to the great American game of football that these soccer freaks refer to their game as "football." Since when do real football fans burn down their stadium? ONLY in soccer do you see that when the home team loses. You may have Raider Fan get loose once in awhile but he has NOTHING on Soccer Freak.
I agree, these bloggers who don't allow comments are annoying. It's like they're saying "you should listen to me but don't expect me to listen to anything you have to say in response." I don't even bother reading blogs like that. I'm also sick of clicking on the NFL section and seeing an entire page of blogs dedicated to Michael Vick. Enough is enough. We have a season coming up, so let's talk about that instead o####uy who won't be playing in it.
I've also noticed the "No comment" Blog. My feeling is that if a blog doesn't allow comment, it is not read worthy. If I open a blog entry, I check for an "Add Comment" line first. No line, no read. Then, I don't read that persons blog anymore. I've post some that many may find flame worthy, and there is always a comment line. I don't even have to approve comments. If someone is commenting to be an #### then others will read it and realize they are just an #### and ignore their posts, and their comments..
Good Post, good points included.
