Breeding the hypnobird is difficult. After the mating dance and the female comes near, the mating pair needs to close their eyes, for the obvious reason, and then take a stab a copulation.
This works well in the wild, but males in captivity have accidently "plugged-in" to nearby electrical sockets and lesssened the availble gene pool.
Okay, I admit it...I met this bird on numerous occasions when I was younger...and I was COMPELLED...thankfully, I was blessed...but, those blackmail pictures...oh, nevermind.
