I'm not going to cry about why i'm leaving, or even give much of a reason why, beyond not having much time or energy to devote to it, and maybe the biggest reason, fox having so many tech issues.
on that note, i'd like to ask fox to at least allow me to look at my archived posts, so i can print off some of them. i suppose i could search by category, but i already tried that, and after 23 pages of "CSIN" (which, by the way, is short for "Cuziffer Sports Inter Network"), i found 3 of the posts i wanted. i know there are more, but i simply dont have the time or patience to search by category, not to mention some of the categories i used to use when i first started are no longer around, either because i decided not to use them anymore, or you decided they were somehow offensive.
i know this is probably too much to ask, but i thought i'd throw it out there anyway.
oh, and 1 more thing...i know you're busy and all, making sure nobody uses any non-PC words, but do you think you could rid the site of all those annoying people who keep advertising their "dating" websites? yeah, i know, why should i care if i'm leaving, right? well, there are alot of other people on this site who are fed up with them too. if you had a clue, you'd realize these clowns are chasing away the people who made/make this site enjoyable. are you seeing the connection here yet?
meh, nevermind. just please fix it so i can get to my archives, and i'll leave you busy, overworked, underpaid people alone.
Archived posts, agree with that problem. I want to read previous posts of others. Dating site people are #### annoying.
Well good luck buddy. Have fun in the real world.
hey cuz, chill out you done good stuff ... thick skin is a real thing ... good over comes evil and the powers to be will and should identify regards , the big cat.............
It's a shame that you're (probably) leaving. Good luck if you do, and I agree with those annyoing dating plugs; they make those ExtenZe commercials seem tame by comparison.
No you didn't Sizzel. You met her at a comedy club.
What up CUZ! First Ricko, now you. Certain bloggers are disappearing from Fox and moving on to bigger and better things. I wonder why. Are you a Suns fan?
Oh yeah, that's right. If my memory serves me well, you're a Bucks fan. But you may be a Suns fan secretly behind the scenes. Who knows.
Anyway, for what it's worth, I've always enjoyed debating with you cuz. Hopefully you'll stop by every once in a while. Now that the Lakers are taking over the planet, you know damn well I'm gonna be around a very long time. Don't be a stranger CUZ.
Best of luck to you cuziffer.........I've always found this place to be mixed bag of nuts. There are some good things here and there are some bad.
My interest in blogging has taken on more of a watercooler approach............If a conversation sounds interesting, then I will contribute, if not then I will move on.
This is still a good place to blog and comment, but I find the Fan IQ to have more variety and interaction.....

Again best of luck to you cuz.

I agree totally Cuziffer. I have written to Fox five times now about archives, about not showing up on most recent hits and not showing up on the most viewed on the times my number of hits qualified and NOTHING but computer generated garbage.
One of the "favored ones" tells everyone that it's just a "glich" but I notice the favored ones NEVER have a day when they have a glich.
I don't know you but I don't blame you. This is a good ole boys and girls club and the rest of us are just here to drive their numbers to sell advertising.
cuz-I remember when I first entered the blogdom here. I'm sure you do as well. Good times. We'll have to get together and discuss them sometime.
{Oh, before I forget, up yours, J-Dizz. Takes a real narrow-minded little weasel to correlate leaving with being a Suns fan. I guess you haven't been paying attention, but a lot more of the old guard aren't around anymore between when I left and now. All Suns fans, huh Einstein?
That felt good. And I really don't care if your Lakers win the title or not. I always called 'em like I saw 'em. You should try it. Though I'll always cherish the blog you wrote after you lost our bet. Got it framed on the door of my shitter.}
CUZ-After all we've been through, I thought maybe, just maybe, I would've finally made it into your favorites. Guess it wasn't meant to be.
When I look back at my days at Fox, there are a select few I'll always remember. You are on the short list. Thanks for your support when I was writing here. Hopefully I reciprocated it at least somewhat. Much, much more to say, but I'll leave it at that for now, lest my comment gets cut off by Fox's character limit.
To reference an old joke involving Henry Kissinger and Ivan Lendl, your Czech's in the male for your Best Avatar prize.
THE GIVE-A-####-OMETER HAS LEFT THE BUILDING. THANK YOU AND GOOD NIGHT.
ricko- done deal! you are now in my favorites...are you happy now? there are a select bunch i'll remember as well. you, shooter, morisato, TSI to name a few. thank you for your support as well.
Nique- i get the same "glitch" b.s. from the site i currently visit regularly....and i PAY for that one. i joined this site to share opinions, and learn something. it turned into just a new venue for the paid fox writers to get in our faces with their inconsequential gibberish more often. add all the tech issues, and it's simply no longer worth the effort. thanks for stopping by, and good luck to you.
Quack- thanks. i'm actually steering away from the internet in general these days, at least trying not to spend so much time online, or i'd consider another site to join (there have been a few started by former fox bloggers as well).
Dizz- you caught me. yep, i'm leaving because i'm so distraught over the suns being ousted in the playoffs yet again. i actually AM a suns fan, to a point, but it'd be a cold day in phoenix when i'd let an underachieving sports team, or the people who take their sports too seriously, persuade me to run away.
Sizzel- congrats...how much did she cost, and when is she arriving from nigeria?
Tsfanpc- chances are, it is. thanks, and good luck to you also.
tiger- this has very very little to do with being thin skinned. the site in general is just not worth the hassle with all the tech issues.
dehbashi- hold down the fort here, will ya?
You may have not liked me much, I never could tell, but you were awesome and spoke from the heart. I always read your posts, and you let it fly. I hope life finds you happy and healthy. I wish I could say the same. See you later.
RICKO, another sore loser straight from the D'Antoni Academy of Crybabies. This makes you part of cuziffer's "generally immature audience."
I thought you were cool and thought you could take a joke, but apparently not. Yeah, we had some heated debates and I began to actually like you for a while but you talk to me like that and now you are officially on my punka-s-s- b-!-t-c-h list.
I know you could care less because you're having a midlife crisis.
You either a) are getting a divorce, b) got fired from your job, c) lost your home to foreclosure after losing all your equity because you have an Option ARM and you were dumb enough to make neg-am pmts each month, or d) all of the above.
Up mine? I've stuck it to you since '06, always remember that. You got nothin' on me when it comes to debating the Suns versus the Lakers buddy.
"Call 'em like I saw 'em." You're an i-d-i-o-t. I pointed out Mike D'Antoni's insistence on using an 8-man rotation long before you did. I wrote it, you saw it, then you kept talking about it like you knew the answer to all the Suns' problems. Go check the archives. I know more about your own team than you ever did.
Au Revoir, with Siskel, Ebert, and Roeper's thumbs up yours.
Cuziffer - It sounds like you're feelings weren't hurt too badly, so it's all good. I'm sure you knew that I was just having fun with you. After all, isn't your blog rated "GI"? This is the part your frustrated buddy RICKO missed.
Your Bucks have found a star to replace the soon-to-be-departed Michael Redd. His name is Ramon Sessions. But y'all still need to play defense. I guess all your fav teams need to play defense. Best of luck in everything
Lighten up, J-Dizz. I figured you would realize that the " . . . on the door of my shitter" line was intended for a laugh, not as a serious jab. Guess I gave you too much credit. (You don't actually think I'd use the term "little weasel" in a serious nature, do you?) Seems like maybe you're the one who's a little edgy.
BTW speaking of knowing your team, I could say the same about your Lakers, who you said were title contenders the last two years. I kept calling 'em like I saw 'em, and who looked the i-d-i-o-t then? Oh well, I guess if you keep saying the same thing, you're bound to be right eventually, as you this year, thanks to the Gasol deal.
RICKO: We were title contenders all along. It wasn't the Gasol deal that sealed the deal because the Lakers were just as dominant with the emerging Bynum (L.A. was on pace to win 56 before Andrew went down, and before Pau came into the picture so there you go buddy) so I don't want to hear excuses, which most Suns fans are the best at doing.
The Lakers needed to grow, develop, evolve, and mature. But we were title contenders all along because I knew we had the formula and the pieces in place. Buss knew it. And so did Kobe and Kupchak. Why do you think with our sorry team, we took your Suns to seven games in '06, with Smush and Kwame and Cook? Let that marinate in your brain for a sec.
As for your Suns, you guys never had the pieces in place. YOu never had the formula to become a title contender either.
To use your line, "I call 'em like I saw 'em" and despite all that hype about the Suns offense, you were always Smurfs.
J-Dizz - You're right about the Lakers needing to grow. But I wouldn't say Kobe knew it. I don't even think you believe that, with his comments regarding certain teammates and his obvious displeasure at the direction of the team.
Having said that, I have stated an infinite number of times that the Suns peaked last year ('06-'07). That was their best chance to win it. After that, their window shut. Maybe with a better coach, it would've happened. And once again, you seem to enjoy lumping me in with other Suns fans who have made excuses. If you recall - and you can look it up - I stated that the suspensions were a joke. Which was the common opinion of nearly every national writer and talking head. HOWEVER, I also stated at the time that if D'Antoni had been playing his bench like he should have all along, they would have been able to hold the lead in game five w/o running out of gas. I'm really getting tired of discussing this, frankly.
Good luck to your Lakers. Any truth to the rumor that the Suns are dragging their feet in their search for a coach so they can speak to Phil after his season is done?
RICKO: YOu know, after all the trash talkin we give to each other, I'll have to admit that you're a class guy.
I agree. It gets tiring talking about what happened between our two teams in the last couple years. But you have a way of getting me all riled up. That's actually a compliment.
Anyway, thanks for wishing the Lakers luck.
Here's a little secret. I actually was rooting for the Suns against the Spurs because of two reasons.
1) Shaq
2) I wanted the Suns to play the Lakers in the conference finals
And if Suns mgmt were smart, they'd hire a former Laker to coach their team. Kurt Rambis should be their prime candidate. But watch them go for Jeff Van Gundy.
And no, Phil isn't going anywhere. Like Kobe, the ZenMaster is a Laker for life. And I don't think Sarver has any cute daughters for Phil anyway.
