I think this is the best article i've read on the future of Dale Jr. I would love to see Jr end up at Gibbs, i think it woud elevate them to equal and maybe surpass Hendrick. Gibbs has the COT figured out and Jr is great friends with Hamlin and Stewart. It just makes alot of sense to put him there. But what i really loved is someone is finally addressing something, why not replace Yeley with Jr and give him the 18. I've been hearing for the past couple years that it's been hard for Interstate Batteries to afford Nextel sponsorship. Slide Jr and Bud in place of Interstate and Yeley, and you've got a great team! But i suggested one better, why not give Hamlin the #18, and give Jr the #11, the Bud 11 car, that would be awesome! I think if Gibbs wanted to keep Yeley, they need to move him back to the Busch series, cause he might to need to get a lil more experience in a lower division. Also, if Eury Jr goes with Earnhardt, they already have worked together for a long time, so you wouldnt have to wait for chemistry to build. I just really hope that Jr ends up at either RCR or Gibbs, i dont think it'd be smart to go anywhere else, cause as DW said, Gordon and Jr would be a bad mix under one roof.
