USA Today is reporting that ESPN 2 will air a five part program focusing on Lil E's move to Hendrick. The title is 'Dale Jr.--Shifting Gears'. It will tell how Jr. decided to leave DEI and go to HMS.
The first episode will air on Feb. 8. The next two eps will air sometime prior to the Daytona 500. The last two eps will air the week of July 27. These final two eps will bring Jr's 2008 season at HMS up to date so far.
Yeah I know, lifer, but you can count on ESPN not to advertise or promote it in any way. They will promo to death winter x games, the Bronx is Burning, and the All-star homerun derby. But a show with a built in huge following you'll never hear about.

Jr's the one guy within NASCAR that the whole world doesn't seem to think gets overexposed.
But at this juncture he like Britney Spears isn't deserving of it. It's like watching an accident and wanting to see who's
made it out of the wreckage. To my mind until he's won a championship he's not going to amount to much more than being another driver within the sport.
I'm trying to learn more of Jr. and NASCAR. But I have to agree with Top. Jr. needs to start winning.
If it wasn't for his name, I wouldn't have thought more of him, being a newcomer. I've only kept up with Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, and Tony Stewart.
Jr this Jr that. What the heck has he done the last couple years. Not a dog gone thing. Can you imagine if he doesn't win a few race with Hendrick. He will probably get a new show on HBO payper view that will sell out..lol.

I am a Hendrick fanfor years. Liked watchin the Shrub win in all thing he drove. Yet Rick drops him for the CASH cow. I have lost a bit of respect for Rick. Still like 3 outa four of his drivers. But have converted my fourth pic to the Shrub in a Toda at Gibbs.. Should be fun to see if Jr. will sink or swim. With ESPN we have a front row seat...
Oh cripes! LMAO! My previous comment was this: Junior should be reduced to a 30 min segment...but the fact of the matter is the other 3/12 segments will probably be about his family, not him. Sigh. Bring on a segment on Smoke!
