Cubs and Diamondbacks fans really endured hell on earth having to listen to Stockton for three straight games and have suffered in a way that nobody should ever have to. Some of his nuggets of wisdom:
1) Michael Weurtz, appeared in 73 games for the DALLAS COWBOYS, just second behind Bob Howry.
2) He called Aramis Ramirez, by the name Rodrigo Ramirez.
3) He referred to a one time Arizona bullpen arm as Julio Jorge.
4) Alfonso Soriano will now be known as Adolpho Soriano.
5) He claimed that Derrek Lee had great numbers this season while toiling for the Houston Astros.
6) Angel Pagan has transformed into a peanut, now known as Angel Pec`an.
This is just a small sample size of the endless blunders and mispronunciations made by #### Stockton. I firmly believe that he is losing his mind and needs to get into a hospital, probably the Alzheimers ward, ASAP. This guys hould never be given a microphon ever again.
This is just the tip of the iceberg with Stockton. A radio show in Chicago put together all of his Chicago blunders and made a little segment out of it. Needless to say, i couldnt catch my breath.
TBS needs to say goodbye to baseball all together! That series was horrible. No one knew what they were talking about. One field reporter was in the DBacks clubhouse after Game 1 and asked if B. Webb got the win because he didn't know how it worked. WHAT?! They must have been scrapping the bottom of the barrel to find these guys who know nothing about baseball.
HEY (LITE BULB went off) aka cartoon??? joe torre did some sportscasting why not boy if iwas joe id jump at the chance and get away from the high payed spoiled ball players... and owners!!!! GS??????!!!!!! joe do yourselve a flavor and do something fun again!!! ive done baseball broadcasts its fun.... yes some presuuer but not like the one you had to endure!!!!
TBS doesnt need to get rid of baseball. The combo of Brenley and Carray is a really good one and shoould do well in the NLCS. If only they didnt, as you said, scrape the bottom of the barrel, TBS wouldnt be so terrible.
I am college kid out of chicago and love Chicago sports aka a huge homer. My writing may contradict this, but i do care and know about sports outside of Chicago, although I may never blog about it.
