Ok guys here me out. I was just thinking as I posted in another thread and I came up with a pretty good idea. Shaq on the floor big minutes for us is just as good as it is bad right? So.....why not move Amare back to the 5 and have Shaq back him up? He has played the 5 for the majority of his career and I think our lineup would be really solid in both our 1st and 2nd unit. Check it out.
First Unit 1-Nash 2-Bell 3-Hill/Barnes 4-Diaw 5-Stoudemire
Second Unit 1-DJ Strawberry 2-Barbosa 3-Hill/Barnes/Tucker 4-Lopez 5-O'Neal
I really don't see a probem with having two 7 footers who can rebound considering the shooters on the second unit and the offense could go thru Shaq first. I see it in the same light as someone like Ginobili coming off the bench and playing major minutes. There will still be times where Amare and Shaq are on the court together and I really see this as a great rotation. It also put Boris in a position where he has to produce or he is gone in February. Hopefully Shaq can be a team player and humble himself for a chance at another title. What do u guys think?
Me and my roommate have been having this discussion for weeks now and its time i got some others involved. We go back and forth about who is a better/ more dominant player as of RIGHT NOW....Amare Stoudamire or Tim Duncan. Throw out accolades and championships and surgeries etc. Disregard that they have both at some point in their career played with future or current hall of famers (Admiral, Shaq, Nash, Parker etc.) As of the 07-08 season, who is better? Who is more dominant?
I am a die hard NFL and NBA fan who just happens to love the Redskins and Suns (respectively ). Love a good debate and will state the facts as I know them. Trying to get more involved in fantasy sports also. Last fact I'm a big online gamer (XBOX 360-NBA 2k series, College Hoops 2k series, MLB 2k series, and of course...MADD EN)
