At Bristol Saturday night, the Candyman once again displayed his class and sportsmanship after that Mr. Horse Teeth guy resorted to dirty tricks to steal the win!
After leading most of the laps, it was clear as the race was nearing the end, that no one could catch the Candyman. The Candyman even slowed down some so the other drivers wouldn’t feel emasculated by his dominating performance! Of course, no expected a driver in the Cup series would try and capitalize on this and sink as low as Mr. Horse Teeth! He took advantage of the Candyman’s generosity and tried to wreck him!! The certain crash was only averted through the unmatched driving skills of the Candyman! I’m sure the rest of the drivers where in awe watching that awesome display of driving skills!
As we've come to expect from the Candyman, he took the high road and didn't retaliate against this deplorable act. He simply gave Mr. Horse teeth a little tap, letting him know he could do the same thing right back, but had the class not too! He would’ve just simply blazed right back by him, but the Candyman’s jealous teammate took advantage of the situation and pinned the Candyman down at the bottom of the track in a desperate attempt to pass this icon of NASCAR. As we all know, he was unsuccessful, but he held up the Candyman long enough for Mr. Horse Teeth to gallop away.
Now we come to one of the most amazing events in all of motorsports history! After Mr. Horse Teeth crossed the finish line and took his dirty win, the Candyman, rising to new heights of sportsmanship never before seen, went and gave him one of those congratulatory "donuts" on the side of his car! Remember? Like that guy in the black car used to do? What a gesture! And the ties to NASCAR’s past tradition just made it even more special! What was Mr. Horse Teeths reaction to this? He tried to wreck the Candyman AGAIN!!! Unbelievable!!!!
The Candyman was understandably upset by this nasty response to his spectacular display of sportsmanship, but he took solace in the wild cheers he could hear from all the fans at Bristol for his class in the face of such nastiness. I bet the Candyman gained THOUSANDS more fans that night! I bet even Dale Jr. was envious of the love displayed for the Candyman that night!
I know you all are just honored to be alive at a time like this, to be able to witness such greatness. Don’t let the de####able acts of others discourage you. We all need to follow the example of the Candyman, and rise above the poor sportsmanship of others. Let’s save all our emotions and use them to cheer the Candyman to victory next week! That’s the way the class acts get their revenge: rising above the fray and taking the win through clean racing!
I hope from witnessing this event, that we will all aspire to take the lessons learned from the Candyman’s example and apply them in our own lives to improve this world we all live in!
What a man that Candyman! A Pillar of virtue! An example to all!
Excellent commentary, you should write for Sports Illustrated!! WOW I havent had such a good laugh all year...ROFL LMAO...I am amazed at your insite to the 'candyazzzman', yes he is a virtue if #### isnt he!!! Thanks for the entertainment, keep up the good work,...a fan of yours
What I saw was the very reason RICK showed KB the door at HMS, what I saw was a very angry lil boy, what I saw was a NASCAR driver resort to name calling cause he could not get it done on the race track, what I saw was a driver who has wrecked more cars/trucks this year crying cause he got bumped. What I saw was lil boy try and do harm to another driver after the race was over. Thankfully no one was hurt because of his lil temper tantrum.
What I saw was everything that is Kyle Busch, and I did not like what I saw.
Mr. 3fan: The Candyman believes in free speech. Feel free to speak your mind, the Candyman can take it! The Candyman's like a duck! A cool, good humored one though, one that lets things slide off him. Certainly not one of those AFLAAAAAACK screaming freaks of nature!
