As we all know monopoly is back at McDonalds. We all know Boardwalk and Park Place are worth a million bucks if you have both pieces. It works like this though so the odds of you wining the million bucks are slim to none. On 1 half of the country they have Boardwalk and the other half gets Park Place. I have Park Place so I was thinking that if my buddies on the west coast has Boardwalk we can put the pieces together and split the million bucks 50/50. If you get Boardwalk let me know and we can share
As the playoffs arrive some fans baseball seasons have ended so who do you root for? The Yanks? D-Backs? BoSox? Even the Angles? Before the playoffs I jumped on the bandwagon of being a Rockies fan because finally they were doing great. Now I have a new reason to root for them and not only because of their hot wining streak or the numbers that are put up or who's on the team and so do you.
Mike Coolbaugh died after a line drive hit him. He left behind a very pregnant wife and 2 little boys 5 and 3.
After a team vote done completely on their own the Rockies as a team have decided to give Mikes wife a full share of the Rockies playoff money winings. This means whatever money the Rockies make in the playofss 110% of that is going to her and the kids.
This to me was the most thoughtful thing I have seen in a while.
So dont root for the Rockies just because. If you have to have a reason to root for them other then because they are just there or whos on the team or whatever. Root for them because this was the classiest thing to happen to baseball in a long time.
With all the drama with the steriods this year it was refreshing to know that there is still something positive in baseball and for what the Rox are doing other then wining I will forever and always be a fan.
I should be ashamed of myself, but I am not. In my little paragraph I say I dont like baseball because the Rockies suck. I have been to a few games and they were fun and I rooted for them when I went. But as the Rockies are on a great roll they made me insert my foot in my mouth because lets be honest how bad can you suck if you are in the playoffs? I sat and watched the entire game on monday against San Diego and I got exctied that they won like I have been a fan my entire life. I didnt watch the game yesterday but I did go online to see if they won. Now I am ashamed that I put my foot in my mouth and now even more so because I jumped on the bandwagon. Not only did I jump on the wagon but I am also going to watch the game today. Work came to a complete standstill and even the Broncos have jumped on the wagon. John #### himself is a San Diego fan and he jumped on the wagon. Not only did we jump on it but I am sure all of Colorado has jumped on the wagon. I have never been a wagon jumper until now. Maybe the Broncos will feed off the energy and start playing better. Maybe.
Should little leauge baseball chatter be banned at games? This has been a pastime that we have done our parents have done and grandparents have done and so on. Even in the MLB chatter is used by fans young and old, catchers even talk trash to whoever is at bat. You didnt think they dont say anything did you? So why ban it. It isnt hurting anybody directly. It is used to get in the head of your opponent. Kids chatter we want a pitcher not a belly itcher, swing batter batter swing. They have even gotten more creative with it. They are actually coming together more as a team then what they already where because now instead of 1 or 2 maybe even 3 kids doing this chatter the whole team gets in on the act. There is nothing in the rules that says that teams cant do this chatter so why try to do away with it? Is it because parents get a little carried away with it? Or is it because it really bothers opponents? We may never truely know it may be both or something else.
In my personal opinion sports are not the way they used to be. Every year there are always new rules for sports and its something so stupid and it takes away from the sport that we all grew up to know and love and we want to beable to have our kids and their kids enjoy it as well but how can they know the sports we all know and love if what we know and love is being changed to something completely different?
I clearly have a lot of time on my hands so I got to thinking. Being that sports season is over unless you watch baseball or dare I say soccer or think that Nascar is a sport what do these guys do in there free time. Then I thought well even though they are big stars maybe what if they go into forums like this one and see what we say and even make a blog name to disguise themselves and make a comment because we do have random people come through and make a comment then vanish into the night to never be seen again. This could be possible. So I came up with this.
Kobe - Get over yourself. Jason Kidd will not go to the Lakers.
Michelle Wie- Give it up girl the act is getting old.
Pacman- Get a job that says would you like fries with that? I hear at strip clubs they serve food so you can work there. Hell I am sure every strip club knows you on a first name basis and its not because of you playing football so I know you can get hired. Tell Candy I said hi. Oh wait screw it you are now facing 2 felonies. Say hi to Big Bubba for me and remember dont drop the soap.
Pacmans Lawyer- You big dummy if you want to get your client to go free dont taunt the law by saying file charges if you can. Look what happened now he has 2 felonies pending on him now. If you were my lawyer I would fire you.

Cincinnati Bengals owner- Sell the team. At the rate the team is going anyway there wont be a team come training camp.
Dan Wilkinson- You didnt show up to Denver for your physical and your not talking to the Dolphins thus your contract is terminated. Just incase you didnt know.
Stanley Cup Champs- Hey Ducks how come we arent hearing more excitement over your win? You guys deserve it.

Terrell Davis- Will you try a physical again to come back to Denver? Pleaseeeee

I am 22 and I am a huge Broncos and Avalanche fan cant say the Rockies suck anymore and I never got into basketball. I should probably go and change my favorites seems how some of the people where here when I first started blogging in 2005 and they are not here anymore but I just choose not to right now.
