HI my name is what? my name is who? my name is the Denver Broncos?

From the begining up until the San Diego game Denver showed no life in them only wining 2 games from 2 wining field goals.  Thats how Denver won yet again but this time it was different, it wasnt a nail biter at the end like the other 2 were. Dont get me wrong I was still hoping that Jason Elam would make it. Who am I kidding that man is money. From all areas of the game Denver came to play. They all clicked and how sweet it was. We came in the game with everything working in the Steelers favor. Coming into the game Denver was the team to give up all the points and the Steelers were the ones to make all the points. The Steelers could run the ball and we couldnt stop the ball. That wasnt the case today. 4 sacks on Big Ben 2 interceptions on Big Ben and a fumble that was ran in for a touch down in Denvers favor. Who was this defense that showed up? And lets not talk about our offense. We were actually able to score and make big plays. Granted we should have scored a little bit more but none the less we were able to put points up on the board. Minus a few things here and there that can be improved the Broncos showed what they have been trying to say all along. They were able to get it done in practice but couldnt bring it to the field on game day. Well yesterday they finally brought it to game day and I could be  happier. For the sake and sanity of the fans they won.  All in all it was a damn good game.

Great win for the Broncos, they really wanted it and needed it. My Steelers came off the Bye-week flat and didn't get it going until late.............And a last minute 49 yard field goal is what decided it.

Good win for your Broncos, congrats!

P.S. Al Michaels and John Madden were too much for me to listen to, the "Mute Button" came in handy!

Evil- Sorry but our defense made Big Ben look silly. I didnt mute it for 1 minute. I was to busy listening to the crowd and hearing the cheers from the sacks interceptions fumles for a touch down and the touch downs we made. John Madden did an interview and said that Denver couldnt be fixed but they made him eat his words.

Hi broncogirl,
Congratulations on your Broncos hard fought win even though they beat my beloved Steelers. It's still early and the Steelers didn't play their best although they did come back before the game winning field goal. I know it doesn't make up for the 2005 AFC Championship for your fans but I'm big enough to say nice win. Best wishes fenfan and Go Red Sox unless you're a Rockies fan too. They've got a great team and story as well. We'll see. Good luck friend.

You see, that is why I was cautious about saying the win was automatic for the Steelers. And Big Ben did not look silly. His protection was downright awful, and I do credit the Broncos D for that. But Ben kept the Steelers in that game, and lead them back to tie it. The secondary could do little to stop him and the Steelers recievers in the second half. The Steelers seemingly played bad, the Broncos reciever just ran free all night, and I don't understand why. The Broncos did come to play last night from the gun, and the Steelers didn't, or at least they didn't appear to.

fenway- No it doesnt make up for it but...... we were able to get revenge for what happened and thats something the Seahawks cant say. The Rockies are the feel good team of the year. They are just going out paying good ball and just having fun with it. They arent being like the BoSox and talking trash they are just there to have fun. GO ROCKIES

buckles- I was quick to throw in the towel against my Broncos because the way they had played before the bye week they just couldnt get it together. It just goes to show you cant go by what happened in previous games, and that you just have to take it 1 game at a time. I am happy that we were able to win this game. It was a big game against a good team and now I have some relief that we wont end up like last years Raiders wining only 2 games.

It was nice that they were allowed to keepo the fumble at the end of the game:) But, it wasn't a blow-out by any means. It was a great game by both teams. But we'll see you in the playoffs and make up for what really should have happened.

Cowboy- They did real good.

Steeler- There was no fumble he was down by contact. It was what is was and we won. Big Ben was sacked and fumbled the ball in return Tim Crowder picked it up and ran 50 yards in for a TD. So if I were you I wouldnt give me a hard time on what you thought was a fumble, and mosey along over to Jons post and start throwing some Steelers under the bus. :)

Chucky we will beable to now because during the bye week they said the hell with Jim Bates's scheme we will go back to what we know thus going back to being one of the est defenses in the leauge. With the scheme being tossed I dont think Jim will have a job after this year and if thats so then Mike Shanahan really listened to the fans on this one
