Denver has faced its ups and downs, but we all know that they have had more downs then ups. Between 2 deaths, good guys leaving, a pot-head running back, and a lot of injuries the Broncos have yet another blow. Last nights game was just great Denver fans are feeling good the players are feeling good about the win but then someone has to ruin it for everybody as if there wasnt enough drama. Early this morning WR Brandon Marshall was arrested, yes arrested for a su####ion of DUI.
OK folks heres the thing partying it up after the game it all good the team deserved it but when you go out to party call a cab to go home. They even make it easy for you to remember the number to call. Either you call 303-333-3333 or 303-777-7777. How hard are those number to remember?
There has not been any reports of the blood alcohol level so I can get on his #### yet and throw him under the bus. At this point its all speculation.
At this point I am having my doubts about Brandon and his charactor and the kind of person he is. Not only did he get this arrest but........... him and his cousin started the confrontation that resulted in Darrent Williams being killed. Its all starting to come together and I have this bad feeling in my tum tum that says he is bad bad bad bad news, and after the fight at the club I truely feel that the bullet that got Darrent was actually for Brandon.
I don't know any of the details on Marshall's case Broncogirl, but it's a good point about TAKING A CAB! In fact, considering how much disposable income most professional athletes have, hiring a limo would seem to be an affordable option too if riding in a cab seems too pedestrian for these guys....
There arent to many details about what happened just that he was arrested and what it was for thats why I am not throwing him under the bus yet. To even just rent a limo to take you home is probably a lot cheaper then the bar tab its self considering what you drink, how much you drink and whos drinks you buy. The funny thing about a cab is the bartender will even call one for you if you ask them to

AHHH well....Don't you know that jocks are not always too bright?? Hell, as long as it is just DUI, nothing to get upset about. I mean, as a longtime officer of the law, I saw DA's hammered, Priest's hammered (& worse), Judge's hammered (had one hellova Judge who we suspected of being drunk while on the bench-but damn good jurist), and more police officers (state, federal, municipal) hammered and lots of doctors, so........
Hell, I even investigated an auto accident where the ADA pissed himself while wrecking his car, he then dumped in his pants. Need I say more? Fuzz
Fuzz- This is all funny I just dont like when people drink and drive especially when they have options. Dorryien was in a car accident when he was 2 and a half. He was with the baby sitter and the driver t-boned them and hit the side he was sitting on. He was ok but the car was damaged real bad and the carseat was no good. The guy who hit the was an illegal and was drunk
Broncogirl, the onus lies with Shanahan if he keeps bringing in all these players with questionable character. Eventually these players' true character will emerge at some point in their careers. When the Broncos were winning Super Bowls, they not only had a HOF QB in Elway, they had other role players that had SOLID character. You never heard of a Bronco player getting on the wrong side of the law. The Cincinnati Bengals think the Broncos bring in too many players of questionable character.
I'm glad that Dorryien was okay after that horrific crash. It figures that the drunk driver was an illegal alien.
Tragically, Darrent Williams was in the wrong place at the wrong time. From what I knew of him, he was working hard to do what was right, and to help at-risk kids. He was a player that got the most out of his diminutive size. If what you suspect ends up being true, Brandon Marshall should be arrested for involuntary manslaughter, and perhaps conspiracy to commit murder.
It reminds me of the Panthers between 1997 and 2001. We had a LOT of spawns of Satan. The head spawn was Rae Carruth. Thankfully, Jerry Richardson came to his senses and cleaned house after the 2001 season. He overhauled the entire front office, from GM to player personnel to the scouting department. Last but not least, he brought in John Fox from the NY Giants to be the head coach (he was the Giants' defensive coordinator at the time). Through Fox and Marty Hurney, most of the roster was overhauled. They brought in young studs Julius Peppers and Kris Jenkins to team up with another young stud, Mike Rucker, and a veteran stud, Brentson Buckner. Perhaps an entire overhaul is needed to cleanse the culture in Denver.
WOW talking about overhauling a team because of one or two problems? firts neith of them have been found guilty yet! You know inocent til proven Guilty... And the Brandon Marshall and cousin thing! we werent there, maybe the gang ####er thugs who actually pulled the trigger started it! We cant blame Brandon or his cousin for posssably deffending themselves at a bar or hold them responsible for the shooter pulling the trigger here. If that was the case half of us would get shot for what we say on line.. Yes Travis has a history but he is our back now so lets support him...
I got my game face on. This will be a good game if Denver comes storming out again like they did against the Steelers. I am just disappointed that Javon is out because I wanted to see him play against them

He's got enough problems as it is trying to remember the playbook. Without you reminding him that all he's got to do is to call a cab. Insomuch as hard as it might be for him to do. These guys aren't all that smart from the outset even if they did go to college.
They had enough problems undergoing that ever so hard Wonderlic Test.
See my latest post written under this guise titled It Could Become A Bestseller Couldn't It ? Well At Least In The Eyes Of Selig It Could ! After having read it let me know what you think as to the merits of the piece ? I'll look forward to reading your comments.
isnt it called!!! arent we above the law!!! since we are jocks!!!!! as the saying went a few years ago!!! ( NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT)
I'M LOOKIN TO THE PACKERS TO WIN ON MONDAY NITE BUT I BET YOUR ROCKIES TO WIN IT ALL AND BELIEVE ME THEY DON.T HAVE BAD APPLES ON THEIR TEAM. SHANAHAN HAS BEEN ON BORROWED TIME SINCE ELWAYS RETIREMENT ... YOU ALL NEED TO START ON OVER ... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ...
Tiger- I say that Denver is going to win I think it will be a close game. The Rox will win in game 5 wining it at home. Shanahan has a lifetime contract with the Broncos. Granted he signed until 2012 but after that he will be signed again. He isnt going anywhere. We are only going to get better as long as we dont use the defensive scheme from Jim Bates, Rod Smith was in practice today and he did really well. I cant wait to see him back out on the field.
Yeah, I still actually miss ol' Javon. Well, I wish that I could put an audio clip on here with the MNF song like everyone singing it on that commercial! :-)
I called it when it was just a rumor. Everybody kept asking me how I would feel about Javon coming to Denver and I said happy because he is already a Bronco and sure enough he was. Its funny you say that I am singing that in my head.
Bronco I may need your help: I work for a company representing Dodge and we're looking for moms between 30-50 with 2 kids or more that would be willing to drive a brand new Caravan for a week for free. They would have to be very interactive eg. bloggers and in groups online consistently so they can talk about the vehicle. Dodge wants to do this before they unveil their new cars.
You know of anyone in the Denver area that would fit this description? (I am currently working on Denver right now). Hit me up at chevradionoise@gmail.com if you can. Cheers!

Sorry about what happened to your Broncos last night against the Packers. But the moment that game went into overtime the writing was on the wall. As one could envisage what was going to happen. Another typical Favre comeback from the dead.
I am 22 and I am a huge Broncos and Avalanche fan cant say the Rockies suck anymore and I never got into basketball. I should probably go and change my favorites seems how some of the people where here when I first started blogging in 2005 and they are not here anymore but I just choose not to right now.
