just a quick vent

Good god dont people have respect for property anymore? So heres the situation. I live in a nice quiet neighborhood where mostly the retired live. Its nice and quiet and peaceful just the way I like it. Its one of the few places where your neighbors look out for you when your not home and you can leave your door unlocked and your kids can play in the front yard with no problems.

Or so I thought.

Today I have been doing a good bit of cleaning and taking down the rest of the wall paper so that way we can get our carpets cleaned and the rooms painted before our new furniture comes. I am standing in my room and I look out my window and what do I see? A lady letting her dog go doo doo in my front yard. It wasnt even like on the curb this dog was so far in my yard he could have doo dooed in my shrubs.

Now this lady knows that little man plays in the front yard and she knows that I take the baby out and lay her on a blanket so she can spend sometime outside.

I looked at the lady like what the hell are you doing? She looked back at me like she wasnt doing anything wrong. Let me go and get my dog and let him take an elephant size #### in her yard where her grand kids play and she how she likes it.

I was taught  to stay out of someones yard including your pets.

Am I wrong for wanting my dog Max to return the favor?

Hey, check your local govt ordinance/most anymore have a "cleanup" clause. Not only do you have to have your pet on a leash, but you must also clean up after it. I wouldn't stoop to the woman's level because nine out of ten she'll call the law on you; ypu'll be charged. Fair ain't fair anymore! Fuzz

Fuzz she had the dog on a leash it was one of those leashes that you can let out the leash as far as you want the dog to go. Im not going to let Max go in her yard its not nice but still she knew better. She has seen my dog infact she postponed walking hers one day because I was walking mine and she is scared of him. Thanks for the info its just nasty and rude

Get a zip loc bag, turn it inside out, grab the offending product, zip it and toss it on her front porch.

I agree with husker, except put it in a envelope and send it to the bcs committee! that would be fricken hilarious!

No, but you ought to return her own dog's doodoo on a plate with some milk.

Maybe that would teach your friend the point.

Be tough but nice at the same time!

Hey, I am going to cut and paste the following that makes me feel good:

I JUST FOUND OUT that my fellow student, Austin Smith, is still playing for the Boise State Broncos. Broncos, right? Anyway, I taught him in 2000-2001 at San Beranrdino Pacific. He was one of my best Spanish students and a nice guy.

I saw him help beat Oklahoma last year, and I thought maybe he already graduated.

But he is still there making me (and countless others, I'm sure) proud and gratified.

I no longer teach public school, but I would like to think that I made a small difference, even significant to him and his classmates.

Kind of like blogging! Blog on!

My immediate reaction is to return said property to her front porch. About 1 step outside her door. Keep your Fido out of her yard, don't stoop to her level if her grandkids play there.

I agree.... you should return the poo to it's rightful owner.... maybe in a brown paper bag... with some lighter fluid and a match.

or..... tape it to a nuclear warhead...... that'll teach the old hag!

Chux, you idea is so 70's. Been there, ran from the cops. Bronco mentioned this was an old lady, so I thought zip loc was the kindest way to make the point.

This summer I spent some time with a Bernese Mountain Dog. They cr-ap like a mountain lion. I cleaned up after him; he was trained to go in the woods behind the house. Gramma needs to train her mutt.

Husker Im not touching the said product. I raked it up and put it in the trash can. Lucky for me tomorrow is trash day so the can is by the road waiting to get the product thrown out

Ed thats gross with some milk? What if the poor lady thought it were brownies and milk I left her? Thats sad. On the other hand it would be funny and it would teach her a lesson

Cowboy I wouldnt leave it in her yard. I wouldnt want my kids playing in it so I wouldnt expect someone elses to play in it

Chux- While I thought of that too I cant do it. What if I accidently burned down her house? Then I would be in big trouble. While I am for getting revenge in the most comical ways I cant do that to her. Even though she allowed it to happen I love old people I think they are adorable

Hi Vearl. I couldnt ask her to pick it up because I was in my room and I would have had to run half way through the house to get to her thats why I looked at her like what the hell. I did however go outside because Max just about jumped over the fence so I had to grab him because he wanted to go play with her dog and I told him to hush and she looked back at me and then turned around and walked faster

Mum thank you I just sucked this one up and just cleaned it up

The freakin heffer could have waited just another block to get to the park. We have a huge park like a block away maybe 2 and it has a place for dogs to play and stuff while the kids play

How is the little one? How are you?

I would pick that #### up...carry it down to her home and put it somewhere that she will be sure to find it. Maybe her door knob? How about smeared accross her garage door?

I think she'll refrain from letting her dog #### in YOUR yard after that.

HI BGL- I missed you too. I wouldnt take the smelly diaper over there. Emily has been eating rice cereal with kero syrup to gain some weight because she is so tiny plus I have been adding a little bit of baby fruit in it. Not enough to make her sick just enough for flavor and the extra calories ( she isnt quite old enough to eat the baby food straight yet or it will make her tum tum hurt but i take maybe half of the tiny jar and put it in her cereal and she loves it) and her diapers have became nasty and I wouldnt wish the dirty diaper on my worst enemy. I have been writing a few posts here and there. I have been a little busy trying to get stuff done with the house and then Dorryien was home from school last week for fall break so he was a tornado behind me everytime I cleaned. Speaking of tornado. On my block it looks like a tornado hit. My neighbors got their pine trees cut down so there are trees everywhere and my neighbor is getting her house reinsulated on the outside so she has all the plastic around her house. So yeah it looks like a tornado came through. How have you been?

broncogirl, what you did by just comeing on here and venting your frustration was probably the most right thing to do. You handled it very maturely. But if it happens again I would look into what fuzz said and then go from there. Goodluck next sunday night to your broncos. they are playing fuzz's steeleres correct?

Don't take bad advice. Revenge is the wrong thing to do. Next time she does it go out and ask her nicely not to do it again. It should work the same and then you won't turn into a 13 year old.

gam thank you. I thought I was just being nice. You are correct my Broncos play the Steelers. For my own sake of all games this is the one we HAVE TO WIN. Steeler and I made a deal that if the Steelers won then I had to wear a Steelers hat and take a pic and use it for my avitar pic for a month and vise versa. This deal was made before regular season started and before I saw how bad my boys were playing so Broncos for the love of God please win Sunday

I strongle believe in Karma. She is a #### if you dont be nice. As far as the Steelers game is concerned it will be interesting I just dont want to wear the Steelers hat and sport it on my avitar pic for a month. I will feel like I am leaving my team.

Mike dont get me wrong its a great neighborhood the kind you would want to raise your kids. I mean where can you live now a days where you can leave your door unlocked and nothing happen? I still lock them though. And the fact that your kids can play out front and think nothing of it. Its rare you find that anymore. And like I said the neighbors look out for you when your gone. When we went on vacation the lady across the street from me watched the house because she thought I had the baby and then when the baby did come my neighbor next door to me feed the dog. Its a great place to be
