Ricky you forgot your friend
Oct 05, 2007 | 2:58PM | report this

As if your 2-2 team couldnt get it together things couldnt seem to get worse until it happens. Travis Henry is reported to have pot in his system. Travis is using the defense that his experts werent there so the league violated its own rules and he shouldnt face suspension. Travis you dumb #### dont tell the leauge that all they have to do is call you and your experts in and say ok if you want to use that for your defense guys what your 2 year probabtion is almost up heres a cup go #### in it. Dont fight it if your dirty your dirty. Now how do you expect to pay for all 100 million of your kids? Ok so that was an exaderation but still 9 babies is a lot.

We have seen it time and time again with Ricky Williams he smokes it up then is suspended then comes back and done it again. Ricky come pick your friend up.

Denver is having a hard enough time getting things together to be the explosive team that they should be and they dont need this distraction.

Denver start Selvin Young he is very productive and Mike Bell isnt to shabby either but for god sake get Travis Henry out of there if he is tested positive. We dont need his pot head ways to be the reason why they say Rocky Mountain High Colorado.

I see you picked up Selvin Young in the Foxbloggers league. A very shrewd move indeed.
will it be enough to defeat the mighty, mighty milquetoasts?

I don't think so!

I don't know what's funnier - Henry testing positive or you dropping Portis (a 4-time 1,300+ yard rusher who has scored in all 3 games he's played this year) for his replacement.

So now Denver AND your FFL team will be in the tank.

Norcal- Hes hasnt had over 1,000 yards since 05. Not only that but the 3 games he played so far of course hes gonna look good a little look who they played. Miami Philly and the Giants.

At least Henry has the guile to try and use the Federal Court system to circumvent the league's drug policy. In doing so he questioning the parameters set by them in their testing policy. He knows that by doing this it'll give him time.

You know what I never looked at it like that. He can dilute his system and he can pass a tinkle test but if they pull hair he is done for.

The attempt to get off by a technicality seems more like a Shanahan idea than a pothead's. This story is far from over.
Remember the Broncos in-house lie detector thing involving David Kircus and others?
Master Mike knows exactly what he's doing. Henry won't miss a single game unless by injury.

broncogirl - Yeah, that's a whopping 1 bad year. He was hurt last season. Better yet, all the people who thought Betts would cut into his playing time thus far have been wrong. This is a guy who you can count on for 80+ yards rushing and he's their man when it comes to touchdowns.

You'll regret dropping him and whoever is #1 in waiver priority will grab him immediately.

I also have Henry in a fantasy league, so feel free to slap the #### out of him if you see him.

I think his punishment should be having to wear a condom next time.........he'd hate us forever.

About this broncogirl, he does have a point. Think about it, it will have people thinking. If according to the NFL policy, Henry's experts aren't there, people may think that it may be possible that the NFL didn't do the test properly or rigged it.

Henry is using this as a last ditch effort and nothing else. He knows that if it were down to the normal course of events as done by the NFL. Then he'd definately be serving the prerequisite suspension without a doubt. Like the dying man awaiting execution he's hoping to be exonerated.

Why is that the NFL like many of the countries in Europe adopt trichological testing ?
Taking a hair sample alongside a urine and blood test would be far more helpful. But as usual the likes of Upshaw don't want to be seen as progressive. He's a man who uses the power of the NFLPA to bully from the pulpit and dictate what he believes to be in the best interest of his members when they're not. It'd be in the NFL's policy to do this. And without a doubt it'd be the best way to step ahead for them in terms of testing. It's far more accurate than the testing being done now. And they'd be able to test for things beyond HGH and steroids.

2-2 ha ha ha... I am a Broncos fan but lets get real, the Broncos SUCK!!!! They should be 0-5 and everyone knows it. I havent been so ashamed to be a Bronco fan in my entire life after this #### wooping by San Diego in there own house. I willbe suprised if they finish the season with a 7-9 record. I am so sick I just don't know what elce to say except that this season is a lost cause.

Ramp, 'trichological' means the study of disease related to hair. Gawd, I can't remember how I knew that from wherever.

Why do you think so many of the NFL players and NBA ballers, including Brittney Spears don't have hair? Beat drug tests!
Some corporations use hair for drug testing. Of course the Major sports don't, due to the union powers.

Aleck I am right there with you. Its make me sick on how bad they were today. There was no reason they scored just a god damn field goal. Jim Bates was a bad idea. If the defense wasnt broken why fix it. Today they were almost able to stop the run but couldnt stop the pass. I dont get to watch the Broncos play that much anymore because I dont live in Denver anymore so I value the games I do get to watch and the game was so bad that down here they changed it to the 49ers game. You know your sucking #### if they change to a different game. Only if i could be in the locker room to voice my thoughts it wouldnt be pretty. As soon as I cool down I am going to write my post about it.

This whole situation wouldn't be such a friggin' joke if the NFL didn't have a much more severe disciplinary structure for the players. Instead of just slapping them on the wrist. If it's unlawful for the general public and we're encarcerated even for possession. Then why the hell is it just the usual bulls*it about assisting and treating them. When we all know that there'll be a better than even chance of receidivism amongst many of the players. Second time for Henry and how many times now for Williams ?

Broncogirl:

I'm sorry, but did you really say that Denver was almost able to stop the run? What game did you watch? The Dolts had over 200 yards rushing to add to their 250+ passing total. How did they almost stop the run?

Sure, LT only had 60+ yards, but Turner (and I don't mean Norv) burned the Donks for a buck fifty and a TD, not to mention that San Diego had 5 scoring drives alone that ate 25 minutes off the clock.

The run D couldn't have looked worse if they'd been trampled by a stampeding herd of ####ed heffers. In fact, there isn't anything about this defense that looked even moderately decent, including (or especially) what they did (or didn't do) against the run.

I won't even comment on the offensive performance - 3 points pretty much says it all and Henry's recent problem is just one more sad story coming out of the Denver locker room. Blue and Orange fans might want to start smokin' some of T. Henry's stash to help take the edge off the rest of what looks like a tough, long, mediocre season.

Sand the reason why I say almost stopped the run is because they almost tried to stop it but didnt succeed. This game was the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. They didnt show up to play at all. I dont know who they were that played but it wasnt Denver because even in a loss they wouldnt let it be that bad. I dont see where you got bleeped on my end it doesnt show anything being bleeped

They've made advancements in tricholigical testing where they can also see what sort of trace substances is within the system. In Britain they actually use it verifying the use of drugs. It's 98.9999 % accurate
in those cases where it's used. So it's not used now in the testing of for illnesses with regard to the hair. It'd appear that all the medical advancements are in N America alone afterall !

Whatever took place in Mile High Stadium was an affront to the fans. And Shanahan should be ashamed to say that he even placed a team on the field. But then again what coach isn't basically trauling the bottom of the pits at times ? I look at the travails of the Dolphins and thank God that I don't have to endure the bulls*it they're putting their fans through.

The 'fins' fan haven't got a lot to be happy about at the moment. And even with Cameron as their coach I don't really hold out much hope for them. He's not really acquitted to dealing with this sort of adversity. And at the same time the team lacks confidence on both sides of the ball. As for Trent Green what the hell was he thinking with that tackle ? He's now in all honesty ended his career surreptitiously.

Many people are saying that the opposing player was at fault for taunting Green. But to my mind Green was inherently stupid for thinking that he could derail a player that had over 100 lbs on him. He has now sustained his umpteenth concussion. This'll definately derail him and could very well cause him untold problems in the future.
