The view from my recliner: Sports junk in general.

-Brian Vickers is not the villian that he is being made out to be, he was trying to help........he is just very... very... very bad at it!

-Lawrence Phillips loses a pickup game of football with some teenagers and tries to kill them, two things come to mind...how the hell does a former football stud (sixth overall pick in the NFL draft) lose to teenagers in the first place? Oh yeah and WHAT IN THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?  Enjoy your new cellmate as I am sure he and his friends will enjoy you!

-Cory Lidle, how in the world does someone die like that?  Sad and truly unbelievable.

-The Yanks are keeping Torre, does this spell the end of A-rod and Sheffield?

-This just in!! Drew Bledsoe has recently been diagnosed with Kurt Warner syndrome!

-When will Donovan McNabb get some love?

-Tito Ortiz beat Ken Shamrock last night in a bigtime UFC bout, (I'll be damned if it wasn't a free show) after beating Shamrock for the third time (second time in the first round), Ken finally shows Tito some respect, a hell of a long time coming Kenny, if you showed this type of class before then maybe 90% of the viewers would not have spilled thier brews as they jumped in the air at the sight of your head being used as a punching bag!

-Who won last years NCAA Basketball Tourney?  Are they the most under the radar champ in history?

-Marc Bulger is slowly starting to grow on me (lifelong Rams fan.)

-Why do they call em beer nuts??  I ate four bottles of em and didn't feel a thing...for eight days, thank you dulcolax for sending some relief!!!!!

-I wonder if Shaq will be in shape this year?

-Kenny Rogers kicked ####!!  No...no, it was in a good way this time, great game against the Yanks old guy!

-Who else thinks the Royals should be demoted to triple A?

-The Bears have an offense? Isn't that the final sign of the end times?  Should I be scared??

That Kurt Warner syndrome is going around. Hopefully, they develop vaccine for it.

I sympathize with you on the beer nuts. I think my stomach would have actually exploded...

The Royals shouldn't be demoted. But they should be placed in a division with only the Pirates as there opponents. Winner goes to the playoffs.

Hey bro, truly hot avatar. And, truly profound questions. I'm sure you know the answer to most of them.

Bears on offense: Scary!

McNabb: Show me some love, show me some love...

Yanks: #### hum...

UFC: Ouch! Double ouch! You play too ruff!

Lidle: Big wow!

And on and on...

a seahawks fan was sure the score of the hawks/bears game was going to be like 36-12...too bad he picked the wrong team to win, and WITH the knowledge that alexander was out, said it wouldnt matter, the 4 WR set would allow hasselback to throw for 65 td's this year. anyway, bears are scary right now, but according to most packer fans, its only because they have a weak schedule.

royals, d-rays, pirates and cubs....the royals, d-rays and pirates will get alot of satisfaction out of beating up on the high-payroll flubs. division winner gets automatic WS berth against the winner of the preliminary WS, which is currently known as THE world series.

was rogers visualizing all the yankee batters with cameras on their shoulders, instead of bats?

shaq---in shape? of course, round is a shape.

ouch...and i mean OUCH...at the beer nuts thing.

i think if you shower, you wont have anymore bulgers growing on you.

south central louisiana state university? the waterboy was out of football eligibility, so he cut his hair and changed his name to danny deveroux.

i'm thinking shamrock should have stayed in the WWE. he sucked with a microphone though, and that's 94% of the job description anymore, so i think thats why he left.

maybe mcnabb should distance himself from the momma/chunky soup thing. chicks dont dig momma's boys.

kurt warner syndrome? i'm pretty sure it's actually brett favre syndrome, but of course we cant associate lord favre with anything negative...but i bet he still gets kick-backs from the pharm. co.'s for every anti-virus dose sold.

a-rod's gone if the yanks are willing to pay some of the salary...sheff might get his option picked up, then get traded...otherwise they risk losing him to the red sox (i read that somewhere, but dont ask me where)

good thing his wife and kids were on a commercial flight. R.I.P. corey lidle.

lawrence phillips = maurice clarret + albert haynesworth + charles martin (the guy who body slammed jim mcmahon).

gotta love nascar....wait, no i dont! (go kenseth)

Kurt Warner syndrome, does that mean you marry a woman that looks like your mother, or that you’ve lost the ability to be a professional quarterback? Or both?

The Yanks should trade Rod and Sheff to the Royals AAA team for a bucket of sunflower seeds.

I’m a hardcore WVU fan and I’ve always liked Bulger. He was one of the most accurate passers in NCAA history.

I knew Warner before he ever was thought of as an NFL quarterback, he played his college ball at UNI and I grew up right off the campus and always shopped at the now famous Hi-Vee where he worked and thus the reasons why it was so hard to let his incredible feats for my favorite team the Rams go. I found it hard to embrace Bulger because of it, but after witnessing Warners bumblings I realized that it was time to let go and embrace Marc. One question I have asked myself for years is "why in the hell did you marry that Kurt?" Unbelievable lmaooo!!
As a Cardinals fan I would love to have A-rod, if the hometown atmosphere can make a star out of Wommack and Grudzelanic (however the hell you spell it), it would do wonders for Mr. Sensitivity!! Thanks for the comments.

I'm vic'd up right now and blogging sideways. Just wanted to say Kenny "the gambler" Rogers just tossed ANOTHER GEM!!! 7 1/3 innings, 0 runs, 2 hits, 4 strikeouts, 1 walk. Tigers shut out the A's and take a 3-0 lead. WOW!!!

Wow, it seems like he has been pitching for generations now. He must be like a fine wine and gets better with age because he has really got it going.

born - Phillips and Maurice Clarett would be the perfect cellmates. While incarcerated they could collaborate on a book titled, "How To Have The World At Your Fingertips And #### It Down Your Pants Leg." Poster boys for how NOT to deal with success! What a waste!
