This is tough. I'm going with half baked this time because he's funny. I'm not familar with two of them but the other three are totally capable writers but I gotta give the nod to Half for his Humor.

well, since i'm not allowed to vote for myself (and wouldnt anyway), i'll go with all 4 of the others.

if you tied me up and used chinese water torture to force me to make a pick, i'd have to go with....dang it, i cant pick just one...i abstain from voting. all 4 are worthy.

I'd like to vote for all because they all are excellent writers. But my vote this time goes to the one and only ShooterB. His consistency in entertaining while informing makes him the best in his class. :-)

With all due respect to each writer here, I vote for Norcalfella. His Football posts are thorough and may be some of the best writing we have seen on FOX blogs.

It is an honor to be nominated and to be included along with four of the finest bloggers anywhere on the net. I am huge fans of all of these. I concur with cuz that, as one of the nominees, it would be a disservice to three other worthy writers for me to single another out, so I will wish them all great luck and leave the decision up to the voters. Thanks again to those who nominated me and for all those who stop by my blog.

I love all of these bloggers so much ... giving credence to the merits of secret ballot.

Let me read a whole slew of these guys works again.

I'll get back with my vote before the deadline.

Wow.

This is a tough call. In fact, all three of my nominations are on the list, and the other two blogs are excellent and very well-respected here.

Whoever ends up winning is certainly deserving, because all five nominees are worthy of the recognition.

If I have to choose one, I vote for Burger. His stuff on the Steelers is always top notch, and his post about his pilgrimage to Pittsburgh for last year's Super Bowl is among the very best that I have read.

Congrats also to all of the nominees. As I said, all are excellent bloggers and all have added a lot to this site.

While I love Half and Shooter and all that they've done to support my writing on this blog, I have to go with cuziffer for this vote.

He's a solid writer, knows his stuff, and refuses to use capital letters (in fact, the capitalization of his name in this post is more than a little ironic).

Wow, this is tough. All are fine bloggers but I think for now I have to cast my vote for Half Baked. All these blogs deserve to get in though so hopefully we'll see them in there soon too!

Since you didn't put Dr. K on the list I'll have to vote for his #### cousin ShooterB.

Gotta be Shootah. All due respect to the others, I've just always enjoyed Shooter's consistency. Doesn't have to over-do anything, just writes.

Since I can't vote for all of them, I have to pick:

Norcalfella

He's one of the bloggers that got this place rolling.

However...you could argue that since cuzzifer covered Green Bay, and Norcal followed the Raiders...that neither one wrote about real football.

Ouch!

A fellow blogger has indicated to me in an email that my abstaining from voting here is a cop out (they said it in good humor, but they may have a point), so after much thought, here is my vote.

First of all, a Hall of Fame that does not include all of these bloggers should not even exist. So with that thought in mind I am confident that Shooter, cuz, and Half will all gain Hall entry in one category or another throughout this process. I usually think of them as all-around great bloggers. When I think of high quality NFL writing, my first thoughts go to Norcal. He has been at it for a long time, and for two years has been delivering pro-level material not only about his Raiders but about all NFL material. What I appreciate most about Greg is his ability to speak impartially and fairly about other teams while remaining feircly devoted to his Silver & Black. Besides that he is along with me one of the "Chosen Ten" so, as much as I admire all of them, I am casting my vote for Greg Cox, aka Norcalfella. I know Shooter, cuz, and Half are Hall of Famers - or they need to close the whole thing down!

Hey if abstaining is a "cop" out, then call me Officer McNuttin. I have read lots of material from each of these guys, as well as both written and received many comments. All of these guys are unique as can be, yet they all are brilliant in their own right.

I just cannot bring myself to choose one over the other. Not to sound dramatic or anything, I don't think I could do so in good conscious. Sorry guys, but you're all good to me.

This is really tough... as all of these people put out great work on a regular basis... I will stick with one of my nominees that made it then, so therefore I must go with ShooterB as my vote... though the others are also equally deserving. I think what puts Shooter over the top is not only does he put out good work, but I frequently also see him commenting consistently on other people's pages too...

ShooterB is my vote. Thanks - KP

This is a tougher decision than Rosie O'Donnell faces at the all you can eat buffet....

Although they are all HOF worthy, I'll vote for ShooterB.

Norcal. He knows his football, and with the mock draft and all, he deserves it.
