And by no means are any of these 3 limited to just football, but each do some fine work in that specific area.
Norcal didn't post a lot this season, but when he did...it was nothing but solid quality. If you look in his archives, you'll see that he had several great posts before the first NGS contest. Not to mention that he was an NGS finalist the first time.
Socal writes on several sports, and is strong in all them. Also, he's been blogging for well over a year...and continues to write quality stuff.
Sleepless could qualify in football or baseball, as she covers everything Seattle...and then some.
I forgot to mention Norcal's famous Mock Draft. He did a great job the first time, even though it must have been a tremendous headache to put together. And being the warrior that he is, Norcal is back to do it again this year.
This is really a tough call... I had to think about this one for a bit. For me it came down to people who have been around, but also people that fit in the "what have you done for me lately?" category, combined with the trio also writing a good chunk of recent articles about football, since that was what was mentioned... combining those, I narrowed it down to...
lisa4usc - She has been tossing out posts left and right, but they are all solid in that they make you think, keep you interested, etc. Plus, she gave me a great recipe for Guacamole... that stuff was awesome.
halfbaked - lots of good football stuff out there, and I have liked his work for a long time.
shooterb - The guy is a riot, yet he can be serious at times too... you see his name come up on the page, you have to read it.
When the hell are the nominations for "Drunk, Wise ####, Know-It-All, Poker Slob" opening? Cause then me, Shooter and Chux are in like, um, Flynn...oh for NFL, I go Burger21, Cuz, Norcal.
There are some newbies out there that are putting out some great stuff. Us elder statesmen (and women) have some great new company! I already voted so I can't name names... but for everyone that reads this, keep up the great work! You are helping my "slower days" to go by much faster! KP
