Always sharp.... Has a humor that appeals to most readers....Knows his subject matter.... and, the only one of the six who has had FoxSports.com provide a hotlink from the "Front Page"..... Twice no less!
I still would put everyone of these guys in though.....
I'm going to abstain pending the results of the steroid tests. I mean seriously, folks, none of these guys were squat two years ago. And then boom, they're proficient and respected bloggers all of the sudden? Sorry, I'm not buying it.
With the utmost respect to everyone on the list, I've gotta vote for Dudski. He posts almost every day and it's always well written and thought provoking.
Um, at what point does this include a lucrative endorsement deal with Topps Trading Cards? Cause I always wanted my picture on a card...that's the year I hope I get nominated, so my value in Beckett's is .01
I would like to congratulate ShooterB and The_Dan on their outstanding display of sportsmanship, with each voting for the other....and like so many other people, I believe you can't go wrong with ANY of the nominated six, which is why it's so good that you don't have to read just one blog at a time.
With that said, though, I still have to go with Dudski. He posts damn near every single day and every entry is well-written, entertaining, and informative....
since i'm not on the ballot, i refuse to vote....so whoever loses by 1 vote, think about that when you're crying in your zima/nyquil cocktail!
to be honest, i cant choose 1 above another from this list of nominees. ok, i can, i just dont wanna.
for the record though, wesley powell, mojambo and k-fed should get in before anyone else. i dont care if they didnt meet the minimum standards, they're just that d@mn good.
Since I nominated him early on, gotta stick with Dudski, with respect to the others. One has to put one's money where one's mouth (fingers????) is/are.
Is 12am noon or midnight in your world? An astronomer would argue it doesn't exist (12am that is, not necessarily your world). But by conventional standards, I may be tardy. So this may not count.
Pinpointing the blogger that fits that description best is easier, however: Dudski
ShooterB gets my vote, but you can't separate them out, they are all good. SoCal was there when it started and is still putting out good stuff, the Dan is really putting out good stuff, Flying Pig is just an excellent writer, Miracle has such a unique style.
We need more than one vote.
I've been questioning it too. You'd think that if this was real they would be on this in celebrating your induction Dudski. I have my tux ready and everything.
