Thoughts on Don't ballplayers deserve a little privacy?

A response to Kevin Hench's Article on "Dollgate"

Seriously?! Who gives a ####? Why is this even in the news?

I totally agree with Kevin on this one. Sure, it's childish. But, damn, let the guys/boys/players do whatever they want in the locker room.

As he said about the locker room, it is... "now merely another stage — like the mound or the batter's box — where ballplayers can have their limitations, prejudices and idiosyncrasies relentlessly and mercilessly judged."

I agree their lives are under more scrutiny - they make a ####-ton more money than me and "we" pay them. But, it has to have a line somewhere.

Why don't we question how stinky the bathroom is after they use it? Why have any boundaries?

I'm kidding...

The idiots who "made" this a story are not.

Personally, I think all reporters should be banned from the locker rooms. Set up an interveiw room and leave it at that.

The whole dolly thing should never have been seen by the reporters. Is nothing sacred!

The funny thing is Carol Slezak, a reporter from the Chicago Sun Times(who wasn't even in Toronto) wrote an article about demeaning this is to women. Yet when you her paper, especially the sports section, they have sex ads all over the place, including one about getting two girls. What hypocrisy!
