Dale Jarrett will finally "race" the truck and Lowe's Motor Speedway is offering a special two-day ticket package for just $44 so fans can be on hand Saturday night, May 17, when Jarrett's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered Tour" culminates at the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race
.....before Jarrett straps into the No. 44 UPS Toyota Camry for the final time, he'll do something fans have eagerly anticipated, he's going to "race" the truck. After Jarrett is introduced prior to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, he will step into the UPS Race Truck from the UPS ad campaign and take one lucky fan for a ride around the 1.5-mile superspeedway.
I think this is a fitting tribute to Dale Jarrett.
Anyone who gets to attend will indeed have witnessed an important event.
Any of you that get to go had better come back with a full report!
Very cool indeed! I too hope they let him rev it up a bit...I cant remember the banking at Lowes but I bet that truck wont handle much or it will be on its side! Good scoop Yee!
Yeemum "I want to race the truck" man that would be a blast "special delivery" Its going to be sad when he finaly hangs up his helmet pretty good career

hey mum; important? event? i dont know, cute, fuzzy and make you feel all warm inside, but important? the man yes. his retirement yes. but a lap in the truck, great marketing and publicity for ups and fun for the fans, sure.
as i look to the right i noticed 4 question marks following a question ive made famous.lol
just tell me this? was it the compliment about your computer repair skills that put me on the board?
DJ has been planning this for a couple of years. He just wanted to go with MWR to help them get started and use his "Past Champions provisionals" to get him some owner points. He's had this booth gig in the works and its something he wanted to do. Dale is a devoute family man and he wanted to be able to spend a couple of more days a week with the wife and his girls. Now the big question is who do I start pulling for? And don't anyone say the Busch brothers.
You know, I am looking forward to having DJ in the booth. Quite surprised he is that good...very smooth. Much better than Rusty.
They should do it like the commercial where some of his buddies, like Kyle, Bobby, Mark, Jeff and Dale Jr. go race him to the line.
Forensic~ I've had the song "Tell me three things uglier than Dale Jarrett's car" I can't remember the comedian right nowin my head all week.
(from when it was brown)
I saw the special paint scheme and was kindof disappointed. But ...
I agree with you, Joker. Waltrip and his baby talk plus his butting in make him a pain in the donkey. Rusty is boring but I think I would rather be bored than irritated. Boogity, boogity, my buttocks. On another note, I think Jarret has enough experience to know when/if the truck is about to topple. I think they should let him take it up to whatever speed it can muster.
Dang it, YeeMum, we did have some very good ideas. Maybe someone with the power will read this and write him down for 3 laps and cut some junk somewhere to allow for this.
Avid NASCAR fan. .I am generally quite friendly, and I don't bite (much).
- I like comments, I bet you do too. So I will comment.
I am not here for a pat on the head, however, I would like a wee bit of a comment if you happen to read anything I write.
