Looking at the photo it appears (to me) like he was not willing to let the 'cast' be readily seen. Is he trying to 'hide' the possible injury?
Or is it part of the grand plan to make him appear to have a weakness?
Trying to fiddle the point spread so they can 'cover' this one?

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick stayed true to form Thursday, refusing to discuss Tom Brady's health a few days after the quarterback was photographed limping through New York with a cast on his right foot.
"I don't have any comment on it. I don't have any comment on it," he said in a news conference before the Patriots held their first practice in preparation for the Feb. 3 Super Bowl against the New York Giants.
Will Brady practice?
"We'll go out there. I don't know," Belichick said with a grin, seeming to delight in being nonresponsive.
"The injury report will be out next Wednesday and we're excited to get that to you," he said to laughter from reporters, "filled out completely and I can't wait to get that to you because I know you're anxious for it."
For the second consecutive day, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wasn't in the locker room or at practice when reporters and cameramen were allowed inside Friday.

The reason I tossed it up for debate is to see what others thought. (Try to keep an NFL fan quiet this time of year- right?)

An avowed Pats' fan here and even I'm not surprised by the subterfuge being created by Belichek. It's not as if we've not all seen this before ? Almost every week without failure over the last two years Brady's name has been on the Pats' injury list with some sort of ailment.

Or maybe it is something as simple as a heel bruise or a slight sprain, or a pulled muscle. Wow, maybe just what he said, a minor injury that is getting treatment. Wouldn't that be something if it wasn't some deep dark plot.

Are any of them healthy this time of year? He probably has a slight sprain or a foot problem. I doubt it will hinder his play at all. He's tougher than he looks.
I'd put the seriousness of the boot issue right up there with the fact that he's been listed as questionable since week one. Yet it's fodder for reporters and Vegas no doubt.
I'd say legit. How serious?? Unknown. One must replay the Charger game and see how he landed on the booted leg/that would give a clue. One can clearly see the injury to Penguin Crosby in film/video clips. Prolly be able to discern same from clips of Brady. Didn't he go down couple times?? Time will tell.
