Kelenna Azubuike Posterizes Kobe And The Lakers
Oct 11, 2007 | 11:17AM | report this

As a UK fan, I'm always excited when former players succeed on their next endeavors, be it pro sports or perhaps the Agriculture Commissioner of Kentucky (Richie Farmer anyone?).  So it brings me great pleasure to introduce this next image of ex-Cat and current Golden State Warrior Kelenna Azubuike dunking on the Los Angles Lakers at their exhibition game in Hawaii:

Kobe certainly looks like he's enjoying himself... as does Turiaff.

Good on you, Kelenna.  I just wish you would've stayed for your senior season at UK.

;)

Until later, GBB!!!

Nice to capture the biggest moment he'll ever have in his career in one photo.

Please don't get me started about the Lake Show.

The Lakers Assault is coming. Stay tuned...

J-DIZZLE:

i'm not sure who besides Kobe is going to be apart of said assault... Odom will get injured and Walton is merely adequate. i'm not sure what you are expecting from Bynum or Kwame either.

Turiaf is serviceable and so is Farmar but this is not the making of a team that can topple Phoenix, Dallas, Golden State or of course, San Antonio... either trade Kobe or give up your roster for somebody good like Jermaine O'Neal.

i dont think theres a pro team from the nba in kentuky fried kat land.L.A has two pro teams and kobe needs to play more defense along with the other laker players ,to do anything this year

And thats not dunking on someone! If Kobe tries to block the shot, and gets blasted, then he got dunked on.. This is just somebody dunking and Kobe looking!

It a Pre-season game # 1. What this guys name again who is dunking, I believe he'll be on the bench behind Monte Ellis, so he better enjoy his season on the bench. So who care what this guy does in preseason. In the same game we had a rookie scoring 18 points in 15 minutes. You guys want to clown, read my latest blog

kelenna azubuike has game lakerfan. he could be the starting two guard when the seasons begins and could be the reason why jason richardson was traded. BUIKE

J Dizzle is the biggest Laker homer ever. Let him dream. At least he's loyal. I actually admire that- I can barely tell people that I like the knicks, let alone root for such a sorry squad with such an arrogant, over-hyped coach (playing and coaching are two different things).

lakersfan better enjoy that picture of Kobe in a Laker uniform. The time is running out on the Kobe era in L.A.. I'm kind of hoping he stays. His cancerous attitude will gurantee the Lakers don't make the playoffs.
