Glad to be back into blog-nation after a short time away from the computer.
- Finally the Olympics are over. For a Canadian like me, I should be proud of the accomplishments of the Canadian athletes who came 3rd in the medal standings. Had I not been working to PROMOTE the Olympics for Canada, I could have enjoyed it a heck of a lot more. Now I can enjoy it in 2010 when Vancouver hosts the event. Dear Van-City: Tell the dudes in the orange vests to put in some work on the roads and not standing around to watch over the rookies who actually work.
- Kenny Williams takes some shots at 'The Big Hurt', Frank Thomas. Kenny likes to take things to heart, which isn't bad. I remember him fleecing Gord Tr-Ash, then GM of the Blue Jays in a deal involving David Wells for Mike Sirotka. Sirotka has not thrown a pitch for Toronto, but copped 10 million over 3 years. Gord accused Kenny of knowing about the injury beforehand, and then Kenny exploded. As for this situation, Thomas has been disgruntled since he stopped being Pre-Albert Pujols. You want to do something about it Frank? Play 140 games and mash the ball this year for Oakland. Simple.
- Ricky Williams fails the drug test: That's how late I am on this issue. At first I thought you bloggers were making up another joke. Nope, dude actually hit the chronic. Nice work Rick, now Ronnie Brown is doing chest bumps with his hallway walls. What a talent wasted!
- Will we see Steve Francis, Starbury, Q, Jalen and Nate Robinson on the court at the same time? Robinson will play Center, his hops are sick.
- The NHL resumes. Canadians rejoice. Except me.
- Spring Training will begin. I rejoice.
- Sasha Cohen is at my place getting some tender-loving care. I still haven't broke the news to her that I think she ####ked up. I'll give her some time.
- How do you lose a lead in golf when you are up 4 with 4 to play? Halve a hole Mike Weir! Holy s***!
From Toronto, CANADA. On hiatus from sports talk show. Also the starting shortstop for the Lizzards. Honorary member of "The Clique" because I am a made guy. If I ever got to work for Fox Sports I'd put into my contract that I must put in no less than 60 hours of work per week.
Just shows that sports is my life.
