JBL for Govener? RVD and Sabu's no-no
Feb 22, 2007 | 2:26AM | report this
When I talk to people who have friends in the business or actually talk to some of them myself, when they tell you something it pretty much happens, every time.  I have had guys ruin more than four months of WWE programming for me in ten minutes of having diarhea of the mouth.  You can also very easily get the Smackdown results before they hit the air.  I only recommend that if you know you aren't going to be able to watch the show when it airs.
The good thing is that WWE is a T.V. show that is done on the fly, so things can change.  Ask Rob Van Damm about that.  When he and Sabu were busted for weed on the way to a show, in which they were scheduled to compete against each other, he was forced to drop the belt to Big Show.  This was also bad on another level as well because "faces" and "heels" are not supposed to be seen together, especially when they are in a program together.

JBL for Govener?  In case you missed it on Smackdown recently JBL announced that he will be running for office in the next six years in Texas.  He is still undecided on exactly what he will run for but he may just get himself elected.  JBL is a very wealthy man, a smart man, and has been an investment advisor for  Fox News Channel, CNN, CNNfn, MSNBC, CNBC, and C-SPAN.  Although for most of his career he was a "heel" in WWE it is his charisma that made that possible.

Here is the official announcement from JBL from his blog:  "I want to explain that I have traveled this world working in this business, and I now am so beat up I can’t play a full round of golf somedays. I think I have a right to say what I want.

I also want to take this time to announce my running for office in the State of Texas. That’s right, I am running for office. I am not sure yet whether it will be senator or governor.

I preach all the time about inept politicians (both sides of the aisle), and how they are not doing what is good for America that I need to do something about it.

I believe we should be free of foreign oil. I believe we have an immigration system that is out of date. I also think we have a government that wastes money.

I am very much different from what is out there. I believe in fiscal conservatism and am much more socially liberal than most republicans. I don’t know yet if I will run as an independent or republican.

I also haven’t decided if I will run in the next election which is 6 years away or make some money for a few years and then run in 12 years. However, I will run and politics will change when I do. You think I say whatever I want to now, wait until I run."

JBL is one of the best "guys" in the entire business. He is a leader as well. He is the guy who shows the new guys the ropes and is the one to get them with hazing........errrrrrr pranks

I have a great story on him of when he was testing a certain superstar in the shower.

PS- how does anyone find me? I want to see other wrestling writers but I dont see a spot on this site for them
